The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

The house was originally built in 1921 and in 2018 we had the house moved down to the pond and did a full renovation while preserving as much original character as we could. This is a great space for a family looking to escape the busyness of life and give the kids a hands on farm experience. Guests can roam around on their own or tag along as we do our daily chores and learn about all of the different animals. There is a pond that you can fish, canoe, kayak, or paddle boat in. We also have a fire pit, above ground pool, and even a chapel to give you the relaxing getaway that we all need from time to time.
