Beasley Backwater Retreat on Lovely Lake Eufaula

The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

Juju’s Pond House on Smith Pond

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located on 100 acres and nestled quietly on a private pond. The house was originally built in 1921 and in 2018 we had the house moved down to the pond and did a full renovation while preserving as much original character as we could. Enjoy your morning coffee and watch the sunrise from the screen porch swing or one of the docks at the pond. The property has nature trails to explore, fishing, and plenty of wildlife.

Shoals Creek Cottage

Come relax in our cottage on beautiful Shoals Creek. Enjoy your private cottage located on the same property as the owner's home, but with plenty of space in between for privacy. Brightly decorated with a full bath, kitchen and bedroom. Plus, two futons that make out into full size beds. Great swimming and fishing off the pier. Just 12 miles from downtown Florence if you'd like to visit or stay and totally relax on the lake.

Good food, good music, quaint shops. Events (which include commercial photography or additional guests during non-quiet hours) can be scheduled in advance as an add-on service. This charming little cottage is located in the Gorham's Bluff community and has a bluff view overlooking the beautiful Tennessee river below. There are hiking and biking trails and a swimming pool with cabana and playground for children. This getaway is somewhat remote to shopping or other city amenities. Scottsboro is about 20 miles away.
