The cabin is a destination all on its own. Fish from the pier or banks on the privately managed eight-acre lake. There is a john boat which is quite old, uses paddles, and is in fair shape (feel free to bring your canoe or john boat.). A paddleboat and paddleboard are available for guest use and swimming. Enjoy walking the property and visit the onsite hoop house and orchard for free seasonal fruits and vegetables. Have fun by the outside fire pit roasting marshmallows with friends and family!

The Cottage is on the top of a hill overlooking a beautiful 32 acre property of pastures with a flock of Kathdin sheep and other animals. Located behind an 1844 Historic Plantation home listed on the National Register, our guest cottage is behind the main house. With it's own private entrance and porches overlooking horse pastures and barns. There are 150 acres with creeks and trails to ramble about and access to the Flint River located within walking distance (15 min walk). With Huntsville's sprawling growth surrounding us we are minutes to restaurants and shopping. Just 12 min to downtown Huntsville.

Juju’s Pond House on Smith Pond

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located on 100 acres and nestled quietly on a private pond. The house was originally built in 1921 and in 2018 we had the house moved down to the pond and did a full renovation while preserving as much original character as we could. Enjoy your morning coffee and watch the sunrise from the screen porch swing or one of the docks at the pond. The property has nature trails to explore, fishing, and plenty of wildlife.

Musical Farm Studio Apartment

Join us on the Mount View Hurricane Valley farm, where we grow veggies, play with the dogs and cats, feed the chickens, and sing with the turkeys. This studio apartment is full of life inside and out. The grand piano is there just for all the practice you want to do. Then, stroll up the hillside and take in the view. Light a fire in the fire pit, star-gaze, enjoy the hot tub, and just relax. A Pack-n-Play and a bassinette are available on request.
