Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Alajuela Province

La pasamos muy bien ! La casa es amplia, tiene de todo para cocinar y lugares hermosos para compartir en familia!

Cette endroit est d une quiétude un vraie havre de paix. NousAvons apprécier la courtoisie de Johnathan qui était très aimable, il nous a accueilli à notre arrivée et nous a expliquer les détails. Très amical et gentil c’était très agréable. La maison était très propre et les lits sont très confortable. Nous avons très bien dormi. La vue est splendide, à couper le souffle. L’endroit est à environ 3km du village, et les routes ne sont pas pavé, nous avions loué un 4x4 qui était utile pour monté jusqu’à la maison, mais un stationnement est disponible en bas de la côte. Monteverde est village qui est niché dans les montagnes, le matin nous déjeunions au dessus des nuages. Fait cocasse un chat se promène autour de la maison et est très affectueux. 10/10 recommande l’endroit pour séjourner à Monteverde c’est parfait.

Daiana’s home was wonderful. We only spent 24 hours in Monteverde and we are so glad we chose this house. Our host was accommodating with a late check out, always responsive, the house is well appointed and it was such a beautiful place. Loved our time here! Phenomenal view!

We absolutely fell in LOVE with the charming town of Monteverde and Jarvey and Flors place was the perfect location to rest our tired bodies!!!!! We loved the adventurous road leading to the house and the quiet peace and tranquility that awaited us! We arrived to find a basket of goodies including fresh pineapple and banana, chips, cold water, fresh local bread, cheese, and jam, and champagne! Jarvey was so kind and responsive and checked in on us personally a couple of times! We exchanged a lovely hug upon departure and I'll be forever grateful for their kindness and hospitality! The house itself is immaculate and cozy and the hot tub and patio couldn't be any more peaceful and beautiful! The views were amazing and the birds and flowers and bumblebees were the perfect addition to the serenity. The wifi may be a bit spotty, but we actually enjoyed that part! We cozied up in fluffy blankets on the couch and totally enjoyed our stay! Thanks again Jarvey and Flor!!!!!

Die Aussicht ist ein absoluter Traum. Es gibt auch viele Tukane und andere Tiere , um das Haus zu sehen. Es kommen allerdings auch viele Insekten ins Haus und kein warmes Wasser zum Duschen. Die Aussicht hat aber für alles entschädigt!

We had a fantastic stay! Jose was incredibly friendly and made our trip even more memorable with a fun, kid-friendly, professional horseback riding tour of his farm—it was definitely a highlight of the trip! The kids absolutely loved spending time in the pool and hot tub! Highly recommend this spot for families looking for a relaxing and welcoming getaway!

Yoi was super responsive and helpful during my entire stay! It felt right at home and I felt like a family member staying here. They live literally right across so any problems I had they were quick to solve. The terrace is beautiful & peaceful, as well as the kitchen area outside. This place is a 5 min walk to El Santo and near a bunch of restaurants. Yoi has been the best host I’ve met and when I come back to La Fortuna I’ll be staying here again.

We loved our stay in Monteverde! Beth & Manolo’s place is so cozy we felt relaxed and at home. The view from the porch is incredible. Beth was super helpful in helping us with directions proactively to find the house safely (as the drive from La Fortuna is an adventure). Zaida greeted us with warm banana bread (as Beth was traveling). Manolo was a great host. We enjoyed a tour through the magical cloud forest with him as well as a night walk through a local reserve. He helped us spot three resplendent quetzal as well as a mom & baby sloth (amongst numerous other treasures). Book this Airbnb if you want to feel comfortable, safe, & enjoy Monteverde!

Perfekte Unterkunft für die An-/Abreise, ca 5 Minuten mit dem Uber zum Flughafen. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht, wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Toucan Apartments was so beautiful and peaceful! You really felt like you were staying in the clouds! We were very close to the attractions in Monteverde and Santa Elena. Lots to do!! We were lucky to have stayed here!

I had a great stay at Vera’s place. The view and quietness was unbeatable. The place has everything one needs to enjoy Atenas and surroundings. Vera was always available to respond to my questions. Do yourself a favor if planning a visit to Atenas; book Vera’s place.

Our time at Danta Santa was truly amazing ! We loved how private the location felt and how beautiful it was. The pictures looked exactly like the pictures and somehow in person it was more breathtaking! Although it rained a lot during our stay we didn’t mind because the Airbnb was truly our own oasis. We loved that we had the option to have the place fully opened or closed. The space was perfect for a couple trying to get away from a crowded city. We loved that everything was nearby, such as the restaurants and activities. Everything was 20 mins away or less. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, modern and cozy place to stay! We will definitely be retuning and booking Danta Santa.

I give this Airbnb A+, very good experience located in a safe convenient neighborhood, 15 minutes from Juan Santa Maria AP, close to shops , sodas, bakery, coffee shop, Agony Church one block, bus stop across , Mega super around the corner , me and my daughter felt very safe , we did lot of walking , this a humble , clean , fully equipped place , we had a late arrival I appreciate Mrs Mary waiting for us until 1am she even helped carry a heavy suitcase to let us in , cohost Krissie answered all my questions , helped me navigate Alajuela, I will definitely book this place again next trip, thank you

Tuve una excelente experiencia durante mi estancia en este Airbnb. La propiedad de Miguel estaba en perfectas condiciones: limpia, bien equipada y muy cómoda. Destaco especialmente la disponibilidad de agua caliente, aire acondicionado y una conexión Wi-Fi estable, lo cual representó un valor añadido significativo. Todo funcionó sin inconvenientes. Clean, safe and secure location near the airport. We were particularly impressed with the gatekeepers. They were very helpful suggesting restaurants and communicated easily with their language conversion apps on their phones. The pool looked clean and the building and grounds were tidy.

I had a great stay! The place was clean and very comfortable, located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, perfect for relaxing. The host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and flexible throughout the entire experience. Highly recommended!

I’m an expat living in the southern part of CR. I fly out of SJO 3 or 4 times a year, and usually stay at the Fairfield or the Courtyard because of their proximity to the airport. I decided to try something different this time and I’m so glad I did! Not only was it less than half the price of staying in a hotel, it was WAY nicer. It’s a safe, quiet neighborhood, walking distance to City Mall (3 minutes) and all of its shops and restaurants, and only $6 Uber to the airport. Carolina is very quick to respond to any messages, and you can tell she cares about your experience. I especially loved that there was an ice maker in the door of the fridge (super rare in bnb’s in CR) and the snacks and water provided. The apartment practically sparkled it was so clean! Full-sized washer and dryer, 2 bathrooms with showers, comfortable bed and sofa… this was absolutely the best value of any stay I’ve experienced in CR. I will DEFINITELY be back!

Our plane was delayed so by the time we got our rental car and arrived it was almost 3am. 24hr security was very friendly, assigned parking was easy to find and is right at the entrance to the building and elevator. We were able to leave our car safely and wait till the morning to unpack. Very quiet and clean condo grounds. The condo was comfortable with nearby places to eat and easy access to airport. We were a family of 4, 11yr and 12yr old kids and stayed very comfortable.

Steven is a great host. accommodating and responsive. place is always clean and comfortable. Will continue to stay here in the foreseeable future when in San Jose

Great place and amenities. My favourite was the huge balcony with the view of the clouds and hills. There’s a supermarket next door, makes stocking up on essentials very easy. There’s weekly cleaning too, so extremely convenient for long stays,

Estuvimos 3 noches en este hermoso apartamento, muy acogedor, limpio y con una decoración muy relajante y delicada. Alejandro es un excelente anfitrión muy preocupado por los detalles para hacer muy placentera nuestra estancia. Me encantó la seguridad que ofrece el lugar … muy cerca de todo y a la vez muy privado y lejos del ruido. Un lugar al que volvería sin dudarlo! Recomendado para personas a las que les gusta sentirse en un ambiente Nítido, con mucha Paz y Hermoso. Mi esposo y yo somos personas muy selectivas y valoramos mucho la comodidad y en realidad nos sentimos como en casa! Fue Genial…
