Treehouse holiday rentals in Alajuela Province

AMAZING! One of our favorite places we have ever had the pleasure to stay at in Costa Rica and I have been coming to this beautiful country for a decade. The springs are fantastic and well maintained. the property is beautiful and has a great hiking trail loop. I got to see blue Jean strawberry dart frogs too! The treehouse is gorgeous, spacious and well equipped. The kitchen was great and the bed was comfortable. We loved it so much that we spent most of the day on the grounds after we checked out. the cherry on top was being greeted and having a chat with the wonderful owners. Kathy and Bernie and incredible people and I absolutely recommend this gem of a place!

This home is amazing! You feel like you are staying in a tree house! Way more beautiful than the pictures show! Peaceful yet close to everything too! 10/10!

Words do not exist to even begin to explain how truly incredible Andrea’s cabins are. Such a beautiful, private and relaxing oasis. Just far enough from civilization to be able to fully enjoy the peace and quiet that is in Valle Azul but also so conveniently close to many fun attractions nearby. Such as the Arenal Volcano & hot springs. Also close to Ciudad Quesada city. We could see tucans, iguanas & so many more beautiful animals from our very own balcony. We were also able to pick our very own fruits from the trees on the property! So delicious. To top it off Andrea was such an amazing host, always attentive to our needs whatever they may be. She responded to all of our messages and/or in person questions immediately. She gave us such great advice on where to go and what to do. Always kept up with all of our needs in the cabin. She truly went above and beyond for us & we will definitely be coming back!

Jimmys place was fantastic! The location was amazing, just a few minutes drive into town and near all your La Fortuna favs - waterfall, hot springs, observatory. Felt incredibly private and safe while also being at the center of everything. We came for our 1 year wedding anniversary and we will definitely be back!

The Sunset House is the perfect place to disconnect from the real world. The house architecture and the way it was built makes you feel part of the nature . Pictures doesn’t give to much credit of the real beauty of this place. It has everything to make you feel like home, plus more. Living in Miami I was looking for a place to disconnect from the stress and this place gave me everything I was looking for. From a stunning view , incredible location surrounding with everything you need ( Restaurants, Markets , Pharmacies, Main Attractions…..) it was a real disconnection for me. Also have to give a special credit to the host Evelyn . She’s awesome, thank you for making this trip a special one,thank you for making everything better an easier for me, thank you for your kindness and for welcoming in your house . Can’t wait to be back again . Edgard 💙

This was the most peaceful and unique Airbnb we've ever stayed in. Tracey and her family were so welcoming and she was great with offering recommendations when we asked. Book this place if you have the chance!

Loved staying in the Koati Tree House. It was like being in a forest surrounded by trees and the sound of birds and insects. Saw squirrels, agoutis, motmots and a hummingbird. Spent quite a bit of time sitting on the balcony just enjoying spending time at the property. The shuttle bus companies and tour companies were happy to drop us off and collect us at the Cala Lodge next door. 5-10 minutes walk to shops and restaurants.

What an incredible stay! We truly felt part of the family. We were welcomed by Joselyn who was so nice. Jorge gave us a tour the next day and helped my son hold his chickens. Such amazing people! Great for practicing Spanish :) The view from the cabin was incredible and the place is spotless. They put in mosquito netting which was helpful. Great location, close to town with great view of the volcano.

Perfect stay to experience wildlife! Edwin was extremely helpful and even helped to book some excursions for us. If we ever find ourselves in Monteverde again we will definitely be staying here!

Perfect for a romantic private stay for couples, me and my husband enjoyed the beauty of this place and the privacy it gave us. If you’re curious to see the monkeys they came out around 9-10 in the morning jumping around the trees, bring binoculars as they did not come close to us. What we enjoyed the most was the sound of the river under us and the sound of the various birds and frogs we could hear all day. It’s truly a beautiful and great experience. Btw a quick suggestion, don’t be scared to drive down lol. You’ll be fine :)

I visited a lovely retreat in Costa Rica’s mountains, surrounded by untouched nature. The views—rolling hills and stunning views —are breathtaking. Wildlife is amazing. Fresh air and peace made it special. Cozy and welcoming, it’s a perfect nature escape—I highly recommend it!

Extremely recommend! This place was a one of a kind stay. Absolutely beautiful and cozy, perfect for a romantic getaway for couples. You can tell they really care for their guests and their property. Wish we could've stayed longer. Only thing is, get ready to kill some bugs but to be expected in a place like that.
