Holiday rentals with a kayak in Alexandria

The home was perfect for our group in town for a family wedding. Everything was as described and during our down time the deck was the perfect place to relax and visit. I wish we would have had more time to enjoy the lake views. Thank you for everything!

Great rental for our extended family. Loved the hot tub, large tv, large kitchen - plenty of room for us to spread out.

Brett's place exceeded our expectations in every way. From the little touches like personalized mugs in the coffee room to the extensive variety of activities to do on the property, we were overwhelmed. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything you need and more. There are so many special places to sit and enjoy the view. The grills and sports equipment were accessible and in great shape. The location is perfect and Brett has thought of everything to make this place amazing!!

We have a friend group of 10 adults and growing growing children. To find a place that fits all of us comfortably is a challenge, but this place was the perfect size. We had multiple places to hang out and we weren’t on top of each other. We will definitely be back again!

We had a really lovely stay here! The space is gorgeous and the sunset over the lake was stunning every night. Plenty of room to space out, as well as nice communal areas for dining together or watching a movie.

This was a perfect space for a friend board game weekend. The house was spacious for everyone and the backyard and lake view was beautiful.

We had an absolutely marvelous time getting a taste of life on a farm. Our grandkids found eggs, bottle-fed lambs, played on the tree swing and just had a blast! One of our 3 year old grandkids cried because she didn’t want to leave on the last day. This was a magical family experience!

We had a fantastic stay at the Lake Andrew cottages! Everything from the host meeting us at the door to walk through and give a step by step of the property, to enjoying a kayak ride at sunset, this place was one of the best! It was easy to communicate with the management for check in and I appreciated how welcome we felt. The cottage was very clean and had everything we could have possibly needed! The area is beautiful and we will definitely be back again in the future!

We had a great time at Rayn's place and her and Wayne were there to greet us and show us around. I loved the fantastic view and I think her place is decorated in such a unique and eclectic way, always something fun to look at. Even before we got there she was giving us ideas on things to do for the weekend, and even more suggestions for places to eat/shop when we got there. And of course the kayaking was exactly what we were hoping to do. We felt right at home and have everything available to use to make it a great stay. I would definitely stay again.

Easy booking and check-in, nice little cabin with lots of room. Location was lovely. We liked walking the grounds of the Bible camp and checking out the Marble Church (we stayed in fall so there was no camp in session). It was a really nice spot, we enjoyed it!

We loved staying in one of the cottages. Very clean and comfortable. We lucked out that things weren't very busy the weekend we visited so it was incredibly quiet. Even on a busier weekend, it still would be a great place, lots of space to explore. The beach was very nice with paddle boats, paddle boards and kayaks up for grabs. Amy and Tim were excellent hosts and quick to respond to questions. The cottage had a larger-than-average mini fridge with freezer, microwave, and coffee pot. We did assume that it would have well water (which is perfectly fine to drink, but an acquired taste) so we brought a 5 gallon jug for drinking water, just an fyi. We will definitely be visiting again!

I've been coming to Spitzer to fish for a few years, and let me tell you this property is beautiful! If you're coming to take a fishing trip, this could be right up your alley. 10 mins from the launch and the sunrises and sunsets were great! We ended up switching to a cabin, and Amy and her team handled it with ease. They were very easy to communicate with if you needed anything. Don't hesitate to book here!

We had a wonderful time at Mary's Place. The charming home was spacious and easily accomadated our group. The access to the water was perfect and the lake is great. We would definitely recommend this property.

This use to be a summer camp that they've purposed into the airbnb, so there's lots of space. I was the only person staying on the property while I was there and it was great for a secluded retreat to think. I loved how isolated it was and peaceful.

We were greeted at the facility by a warm friendly couple who made us feel right at home. Nothing fancy here, just a clean comfortable private room in the middle of a peninsula surrounded by a landscape you sort of hope heaven is all about.

We just completed our second stay at Jennifer’s lovely lakeside retreat. As we were packing up I was wishing we had booked for two weeks instead of one. The place is immaculate, well-stocked, tastefully decorated and so so peaceful. Jennifer communicated extremely well and it’s clear that she puts immense thought into the experience of her guests. Absolutely love this place!

This was our 2nd stay at this cabin, and we loved it again! Soleil is super easy to work with and her place is exactly as described. Beautiful lake view with great fishing right from the dock! Stunning sunrises and a lovely deck to relax on when not fishing or out on the kayaks. Wonderful wildlife sightings rounded out a fantastic weekend! Thank you!

I was hoping to find a place near water that would accommodate four families and allow some local relatives to come and visit. The Diamond Point Lodge totally surpassed my expectations! What a beautiful place with great waterfront! Everyone was comfortable and enjoyed themselves in or out of the house. We didn’t leave the property, there was so much to do! We all felt lucky to spend a wonderful weekend with each other in this incredible place! Thank you!

My family and I truly enjoyed our trip to Scott's property. The house fit our big crew quite well. The beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the fun spaces in the house. The location was beautiful and peaceful. While there is a lot of vegetation along the lakeshore, there is a decent beach, and some shallow water that the smallest kids were able to enjoy. For the bigger kids, we brought the lily pad out to the middle of the lake, and they had a blast with that. The outdoor living space was great! Scott was friendly, helpful, responsive.

You can tell the hosts really care about the guest experience. What really set this place apart was how much there was to do for the whole family. From kayaking to indoor games and outdoor play areas, both our little ones and adults were entertained and happy the entire time. The location was incredibly peaceful — nestled in nature, quiet, and relaxing, yet close enough to nearby activities if you wanted to venture out. It was the perfect balance of tranquility and fun. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a rejuvenating getaway with family or friends. We’re already planning our next visit!

Our family had a great stay, two years in a row. The kids loved being able to fish on the river side dock and jump off the bridge into the river and paddle up and down and into the lake. The lake floaties and lily pad made swimming extra fun and the sand toys were a hit. The cabin is very family friendly, lots of kids books, a basket of toys inside and sand toys outside. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood (it was during the week). It’s very homey and I’d recommend it to friends!

Pristine and beautiful location, felt totally private and relaxing. All the amenities we could want for a quiet family vacation at the lake. LOVED the kayaks!
