We felt immediately at home at Nieves! The house was beautiful, spacious, cozy, quiet and clean. Nieves was always responsive and available when we had questions. We felt very much at home and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Nieves for sharing your home....and dogs! Sally

There were two of us staying at the place for six nights and more than satisfied. May is before the season, so we were alone in the entire street. The terrace is a dream, but visible to the neighbors. Because we were alone, this was nothing difficult. We highly recommend the apartment, Fernando was a great host and was always easily accessible and friendly!

Gabriella's place was absolutely stunning! The photos can't do the beautiful grounds and landscape justice. Both Gabriella and Clara were extremely responsive and helpful whenever we had questions, and their local suggestions for beaches, sights and restaurants were great. Both ourselves and our friends (who were staying at one of the other villas on the property) were travelling with infants, and found the layout and amenities (they tracked down a second set of cribs/high chairs for us) great for children. Would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking to explore Salento.

We had probably our best Airbnb experience. We were greeted on arrival by Paolo who was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our vacation. We could reach him at any time and he also had countless good tips for us. Among other things, he recommended the best ice cream (still dreaming of cioccolata fondente). There were some super tasty local specialties waiting for us when we arrived. The house is very clean and furnished with great attention to detail. You can tell that the owner is an architect. In general, the house really had everything you need. From olive oil and spices to a washing machine and bathrobes. We wanted to spend the whole day on the terrace by the sea which definitely was our highlight. Our stay felt like a dream and we definitely want to come back as soon as possible. Thank you for everything.

The accommodation was one of the best, everything very clean and tidy. The house is also very spacious and being 5 with children we did not encounter problems of any kind. I highly recommend this accommodation which is in the historic center near the various shops, pizzerias and bars. Therefore, the city of Gallipoli is very large and you can walk quietly near the promenade. I highly recommend this accommodation, the host is also very kind and helpful!

Wonderful stay! Ilario met us in the street to make sure we were parked in the right spot. He took us in and explained the construction of the home, which was very interesting. He provided us with a map and recommendations on restaurants and things to do. Great location. Walkable to many of the sites and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

What a lovely tucked away little place this is. The appartment is designed with taste, respect for history, all the comfort you could wish for. Kitchen very complete. A lovely flowered terrace to have your morning tea or breakfast. No wifi (yet?), but we did not miss it a bit. (On the nearby Piazza Salandra you can find free wifi). In the heart of the historic centre, with shops, cafes, restaurants, a central supermarket, everything one might think of nearby, just 2 minutes. Yet it is very quiet and secluded. Nardò itself is very elegant and pleasant. We would love to come again to this little place of Andrea and Maria. Thank you very much. Tot ziens!

We arrived and departed with a „WOW“ on our lips. The place of Bea is so special und unique - it is obvious how much love and care is put into this place. It is good to relax and enjoy the fabulous pool! We would love to come back!

Stefania's house Not on a nature-protected coast, surrounded by a huge garden with beautiful plants, from which you can see the sea from everywhere. We had a perfect stay in Stefania's house and felt extremely comfortable. For people who love nature, this place is an absolute paradise and Stefania is an unconditionally excellent host who does everything at all times to make her guests feel comfortable. Since we had our dog Anton with us, the large garden was also a perfect place for him. From the grounds, you can take wonderful walks along small country lanes all the way down to the sea. The coast in this region is breathtakingly beautiful with many small coves and wonderful hiking opportunities. We can fully recommend Stefania and her heavenly garden. The house is also absolutely perfect for a stay in the middle of nature. Thank you, Stefania, for the beautiful days! Chaya, Toni and Andreas

I booked this villa for my family for a mini trip and everything was perfect. Beautiful house, lovely location and Marco was an exceptional host. Extremely good value for money given the standard of the accommodation. Would absolutley have no hesitation in recommending Marcos place

I have been in this wonderful corner of earthly paradise with my 4 dogs. Giuseppe was very helpful in providing all the information and for any need he met our expectations. The house is spacious, clean and wonderful, super equipped. The outdoor space is very nice with a BBQ shower pool. I had the pleasure of meeting Giuseppe's father, who worked in the fields adjacent to the house and offered us many products from the land, as well as his availability for any eventuality. We felt right at home. My dogs had a blast running around the spacious outdoor area.

Lovely place to getaway. Near to the coast and close to the local shops but still very peaceful.

Very clean, functional and comfortable apartment to live in. Small outdoor dining area very appreciable, very nice environment superbly maintained, I recommend it.

We spent a wonderful 10 days in June in Maurizio's apartment:) The apartment is super charming, has a unique atmosphere. We felt like at home. The apartment has everything you need during the vacation. Additionally, the church bell tower which charmingly welcomes you every day with its "bim bam". The cordial inhabitants of Alezio - we felt as if time had stood still:) Older gentlemen play cards in the evening, a small bar invites you for a coffee or a drink, on a small square you can eat pizza or dessert - the supermarket is a few steps from the apartment. Salvador has great vegetables a minute from the apartment. All this makes it possible to recharge your batteries. The sea is a short drive away. And what wonderful water! warm and clean. Maurizio is a very nice owner of this charming place. He welcomed us and said goodbye - he was very responsive before and during the stay. He suggested where and what is worth seeing in the area. Maurizio thank You so much!!😊👏

Everything was great. We felt right at home. Matteo's place is nice, privately located and secluded and has spectacular views of the ocean. You don't even need to go down to the beach and the ocean to feel at the sea.

We had a lovely stay at Serena’s place, making it our home-away-from home for four weeks of remote working. The home was exactly as described and the pool and surrounding garden made our stay peaceful and relaxing. The location is private and surrounded by countryside, but a short drive to great towns and amenities. Serena was very attentive, answering any questions we had, and offering suggestions for local beaches and places to shop and eat. We had a wonderful time and would love to return again!

Alessandro, the owner, was very kind to us, in fact having arrived by bus in Gallipoli we had no quick way to get to Alezio and he gave us a ride. Since the house is 100 meters from the station you can easily reach Gallipoli by train. On Sundays, as there were no trains, he took us back to the station. The house had enough detergent for dishes and washing machine for the seventh you hosted us in. He left us a small bottle of water in the fridge.

Daniela’s was a really clean and beautiful home with every amenity you could want. We had one night here and didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful apartment. This season this Airbnb ticks all the boxes. It's a true paradise. We had a great week. You can't miss the sunrise over the sea. Access to the sea is a bit sporty and requires appropriate shoes, as recommended by Livia. But the pleasure is intense. The small beach of Acqua Viva a little further is very popular but absolutely fabulous. The recommendations of nearby restaurants served us well. We used this address to spread the word throughout Salento. The hosts of the apartment downstairs were charming and calm. We highly recommend it.

The house was as described and depicted in the photos. Cozy and quiet, beautiful garden. In the village itself, there was not much going on in April and still a lot. Nevertheless, a great starting point to explore the surroundings. Very convenient also the possibility to wash laundry. Roberta gave us a friendly welcome and responded quickly to questions in between. We would stay here again!
