Casa Isabella: Serenity By The Sea

Casa Isabella is 5 minutes walk from the centre of the the village of Malfa on the island of Salina, one of the seven Aeolian Islands off the north-west coast of Sicily. This two storey house was recently renovated to exceptional standards and restored in typical Aeolian style with a contemporary twist, sleeping two people comfortably. The house has magnificent uninterrupted views over the ocean, including from the double bedroom, the two covered outdoor terraces and the front garden. It is bordered by grape vines on one side, olive trees to the other, and the ocean in front. The double bedroom upstairs has a window overlooking the sea and also views back to Malfa, and has an en-suite bathroom and shower. Downstairs there is a large living area that opens onto a covered terrace which is perfect for entertaining, a modern eat-in kitchen opening to another terrace, and another bathroom with shower and washing machine. The house is minimalist in design with resin floors and new fittings throughout. All bedding and bath towels are supplied (please bring your own beach towels), and the kitchen is fully equipped. The house is fully air-conditioned and also has heating for the colder months, as well as a slow combustion fire-place. The house has television and wifi, but no telephone. Mobile reception is good. The house is a 5 minute walk from Malfa shops and village square, a 10 minute walk to Malfa port and a 15 minute walk to Punta Scario Beach. It has plenty of parking space for a car and/or scooters, both of which can be rented in Malfa. Casa Isabella is perfect for a week, a month or the whole summer season! Minimum stay is 7 nights. Casa Isabella is also our holiday home, and we ask that you treat it as if it were yours. Upon arrival, we will supply a full information guide to the house, restaurants and other sites and services in Malfa, and the surrounding islands. Cleaning fee is €50 and is to be paid in cash directly to the cleaner upon checkout. PLEASE NOTE, THIS HOUSE IS SUITABLE FOR ADULTS ONLY.

Isola does not have cars, only mules carry luggage and shopping, the house is two hundred meters above sea level. It can only be reached on foot by the stairway mule (20\ 30 minutes on foot). An archaic island where nature is supreme, slow times to connect to. No light in the streets only stars and moon. That's why the minimum stay in the house is seven nights.

To reach the house from the port it takes approximately 20/25 minutes on stone steps. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday this is the right place!

Casa Gelsomino

Casa Gelsomino is located in the Vallone above the Chiesa del Carmelo at 170 meters above sea level. The house can be reached in about 15-20 minutes, to go down to the sea and to the port it takes about 10-15 minutes. In Alicudi there are no cars, so thereis a silence that is unique. Stairs and trails connect the different villages of Alicudi. The Jasmine house and a small one-bedroom apartment, a part of the main terrace, a bathroom and a small kitchen with a terrace.

The house is a typical Aeolian residence with a terrace with breathtaking views. The ground floor is rented consisting of a kitchen equipped with pots, stove, oven, refrigerator, crockery, etc., and a loft room that houses a living area with a small sofa, two armchairs, a single bed and, on the mezzanine, a double mattress. The bathroom, small, is accessible from the terrace and is equipped with toilet, bidet, sinks and shower; renovated 3/2018.

Alicudi, goat house

Perfectly preserved ancient Aeolian house. All rooms overlook the large terrace with a breathtaking view of the other islands and the Sicilian coast. You will find unspoiled nature, silence and privacy. Alicudi has no roads but stairs and one moves only by foot. Our house is located 150 meters above sea level, to reach it you need to climb 400 steps. It takes 15/20 minutes uphill and 10 downhill. A mule can carry your luggage and shopping.
