This brand new chalet is perched above the car free village of MURREN in the Bernese Oberland outside charming Interlaken. The apartment is the lower floor of the chalet with a spacious living/dining room and large windows that look across the spectacular Lauterbrunnen Valley with its 72 waterfalls to the North Face of the Eiger and the Jungfrau Massif. It offers the best view of any chalet rental in Murren. The Master Bedroom has a king bed and 2 walk in closets leading to the bathroom with shower and tub. On the edge of the living room is a queen wall bed, so the apartment comfortably sleeps 4 . The spiffy fully equipped modern kitchen has granite counter tops, dishwasher, 4 burner stove and oven. The fridge has a freezer. There is a bar with bar stools. The chalet has a wood burning stove and radiant floor heating. In the winter it is essentially ski in/ski out offering ski lockers and boot warmers.. You will love this space in the typical charming Swiss village of Murren. We're adjacent to a wildlife preserve, with daily sightings of graceful charming Chamois, so we cannot accommodate dogs or cats. If you want spacious, quiet, private, cozy and spectacular, this place is for you. World famous hiking and skiing are at the doorstep. And a Peace you've never before experienced. After you check in, you'll be welcomed by our wonderful Property Manager Liza who will help you fill out the Kurtaxe form. While we pay the Kurtaxe for you, you need the filled out form in order to pick up the "Kurkarte" ID card at the Sports Center. With this card you can enjoy the free indoor swimming pool/hot tub plus free ice-skating in the winter. You can also benefit from discounts at various stores.

Our apartment is named Truemmelbach. It is located in the Lauterbrunnen valley, just next to the highest waterfalls of the Alps. Lauterbrunnen is part of the jungfrau region. It is surrounded by the famous mountains called Jungfrau, Eiger and Schilthorn. You will stay in the ground floor of a 3 floor Swiss Chalet. From the huge private terrace, facing the south, you can enjoy the most spectacular view to the Swiss mountains and you will hear nothing but cowbells, sheeps & singing birds.

A haven in a busy bustling tourist location, especially mid-summer. tourism in the valley itself is over subscribed and bedlam on the local public transport. We looked forwards to getting back to the apartment for a rest, and with how expensive it is to eat out enjoyed making most of our meals there. The views out of the window are just beautiful and with it wide open you can take your ease and just admire. Loved fighting a belligerent coffee machine in the morning, I think it was recycled from being an F-15 fighter jet and objected to life as a coffee maker. Cajoled into making coffee (my incompetence really) I would get a good one on the end! would love to return, maybe autumn when it's quieter. Monika was great, always replying very quickly and helpfully. Steve's painting of a vulture is pretty good too! thankyou😊

Quel séjour incroyable! La vue de l’appartement était époustouflante 🤩 un immense balcon avec une vue magnifique des montagnes suisses. Endroit tout à fait paradisiaque pour le café du matin et l’apéro du soir. Le condo est magnifique! Construction récente et tout y est choisi avec goût. Il y a 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain. Tout est d’une propreté impeccable. L’appartement est bien équipé pour les familles. Les hôtes sont attentionnés et très serviables. Ils nous ont demandés plusieurs fois si tout allait bien et nous ont donnes des recommendations sur des activités familiales dans les environs. Nous avons fait plusieurs AirBnb dans notre vie et celui-ci était définitivement l’un des plus beaux! Coup de cœur!

This location is truly amazing! We walked to trummelbach falls. Stunning views!! The description is accurate. (We had the private downstairs apartment ) The bed was comfortable. Linens clean. Read all reviews and you will have right expectations. Yes the ceilings are low but at over 6’ we managed fine. It’s spartan. Nick clearly advises bring all food. This includes salt and pepper. It smelled deeply of smoke which bothers me but maybe that’s on his previous guest.? As mentioned the dishes were not very clean and some visibly soiled so we washed before using. Again maybe that’s a previous guest? Shower had nice hot water. WiFi worked well. Good parking right in front! Car noises early may bother some. (We hiked early. ) It’s within a few feet from VERY fast moving traffic so beware if you have young children. It was all we needed and appreciated it.

This place is SO quaint and cool. Felt like we were in a little cabin in the mountains. Very well laid out, plenty of space, and all the amenities you would want. We had a terrific stay at Remo's...and HIGHLY recommend.

Luxury with best views - summer special prices

This was our second time staying at Corrine & Chris' place, and we loved it just as much the second time around! The location is great - a quiet area surrounded by green space, away from the main road. Out the kitchen window you can see the most famous waterfall in Lauterbrunnen and from the balcony you can take in a view down the valley to the snow-covered peaks! It's an easy 10 minute walk to town (there's also a bus), or an even faster cycle. We loved spending our evenings on the balcony watching the sun fade on the cliffs. Access was easy and simple with good instructions, the place was clean and well-furnished and in good repair. Bed is really comfortable and shower had shampoo and soap, and washer and dryer as well (if you need). The kitchen has a dishwasher which makes clean-up easy. Kitchen has a selection of spices & dry spaghetti - pick up any specifics at the nearby Coop. I can't recommend the place enough & hope to return soon!
