GODA. Island Hideaway on Svartsö

Fish and bathe in the lake, heat up in the sauna, do yoga and long table dinners in the orangery and sleep under the stars in the cabin. Named GODA ('good'), this is a wonderful place to get back to nature. GODA is a twist on “good” (gott in Swedish/god in Danish); an island hide-out for curious young souls like yourself demanding goodness for nature, self and others. We build GODA in 2016-2018 and she continues to grow and evolve as you will see if you visit her. GODA comfortably hosts 7 people in beds (plus 2 kids beds and 2 baby beds) in the main house and 6 people in Mini GODA. Our latest newcomer with own kitchen, bathroom and space. So a total of 13 adults and 4 kids can enjoy the space collectively, then using madrases on the floor, in the Orangerie or on the benches in the relax room in the sauna to accommodate additional people. The rent is primarily for the main cabin and if a larger group than 7, also for Mini GODA. If you want to access the sauna, orangeri and hot tub, please let us know in advance and we can arrange that, however, the hot tub should be used for stays longer than 4 nights and depends the water level in the lake. The sauna might be rented out by the island hotel during your stay, unless you specifically would like the privacy. In that case, please let us know. The only immediate neighbors are the fascinating fauna that can be discovered all around. There's easy access from the mainland, with boats running all year long. The best access point is on the north side of the island. There are only about 10 cars on the island, all with special permission, so please park your car on one of the main island access points, e.g. Vaxholm (for best access to the house via the north side), Åsättra (Ljusterö) brygga or Boda. You can rent bikes to get around from the grocery store or the hotel (the hotel is only 300m walk from the ground) Easy access from the main land with boats running all year around. The best access is on the North side of the island. To check out times go to https://waxholmsbolaget.se/ The hot tub can be used for longer stays than 4 nights and is subject to water supply as it can be very scare on the island during the summer. Fresh air in quiet forest environment

All on its own, at the edge of our property is our little cottage in a forest clearing. It's calm and quiet here. Only nature and at a stone's throw distance, there is a warm swimming lake. The whole area is traversed by lovely walking paths and it is just under one km down to the bay. Herrbret, which we call the cottage, has a lovely deck in a sunny position in the front. Everything is fresh and newly built in the old-style but with modern standards and equipment. The cottage is intended as a nice relaxing oasis for two people in the vicinity of nature

Enjoy this unique and peaceful space with the sea at your feet. Take a boat to surrounding islands, run or walk on the trails, sauna at the sunset in your own wood-fired sauna at the end of the jetty or swim by the beach, it's nature experiences at their best. Shop is on the island so you can pack lightly, get out into the archipelago with the ferry that runs several times a day and just enjoy! Small motor boat included in the reservation. Also ping pong table and boule court! The house is available and warm all year round! Welcome!

Linanäs community with restaurant and boat connection with Stockholm via Vaxholm. Siaröfortet is accessed by boat connection from Östanå.

Seaside romantic activity stay only a stone's throw from Stockholm… With views over Saxarfjärden, Ljusterölandet and Grinda, a newly renovated cozy home is now offered for two. No visits by non booked guests can be allowed. Here you come both by bus from Slussen or by Vaxholm boat in about 1 hour from the city. Here you have access to dock and swimming, fishing, borrowing a boat with small motor, canoes, bikes, optimist dinghies, etc. on request. The private porch view is worth a lot.

Cozy well equipped cottage close to forest & sea

Cosy cottage on a beautiful woodland plot. It has a secluded location at a height next to the forest. Fresh furniture and all amenities one can wish for. Drinkingwater comes from our own source and taste fantastic! Close to nice sea baths and possibility to go around Gula Vindövarvet, a beautiful walking path of 10 km through forest and along the sea. If you want to enjoy fresh air, peace & quiet, birds chiping and starry nights you've come to the right place!

6 adults stayed in this house for a few days and it was amazing. We had plenty of room and the views were amazing. I would absolutely come back to Linda's place again. The island is nice for walking, swimming, and just relaxing. We took the waxholmsbolaget boat and it was very easy. Wonderful!

We had a great girls trip at Jacueline’s cottage! Gorgeous surroundings, which made a perfect escape from the city for a few days. Jacueline was very communicative, checking in to make sure we settled in well and were enjoying our stay. Definitely recommend!

I had a very nice week at Christin's. Everything corresponded exactly to the description and Christin was very helpful. It is important to know that you have to walk 20 minutes from the bus stop and the bus often only runs once an hour. But with the SL app, it works well. I highly recommend the cottage. The area is beautiful and quiet.

We (a family with two children aged 6 and 11) spent a week in Mattias‘ house in warm and sunny late august. We liked it very much. The house and the interiors are old, so don’t expect a high end resort. But it offers great opportunities. Beautifuly situated, direct access to both shallow and deeper water, an own jetty, many beds, a beautiful garden, good shop and boat within walking distance. Mattias was very kind, flexible, friendly and helpful.
