Family-friendly holiday rentals in Alto Bidasoa

My friends and I had a very nice weekend. The house is very quiet, parking outside in a cul-de-sac so secure. The living room, the well-lit bedrooms with a large balcony, comfortable beds, very good connection for wifi, with a very nice garden and a jacuzzi. (we were not able to enjoy it, lack of time) A plus for air conditioning in a bedroom and living room (we did not use it given the weather) Thanks to Aurélie and her husband, very welcoming, nothing to say at the TOP. 👍I highly recommend it! A small suggestion: a larger model for the hair dryer

Emmanuelle’s place warrants all the 5* reviews, including my own. It is an incredibly comfortable and beautiful house - they have really thought through everything a guest needs. For example, a storm caused some electricity microcuts and not only had they shown me the breaker box, but everything is clearly labeled so it was a 2 minute fix. They really think ahead. The house is also in a spectacular setting and it is an amazing house to relax with family. An added plus is the AC - you don’t need it most of the time, but when you do, you do, and it’s refreshingly powerful. Emmanuelle and her parents are so welcoming, they brought us a gorgeous box of their own veggies from their garden as well as some local treats, and they were responsive to any questions or concerns. I really can’t say enough positive about this house, the area and the hosts. 12/10.

Great location close to the beach and under shady trees in a quiet neighborhood. The place is fully equipped, you can tell that Christelle and Benoit have a lot of experience. It's also great that breakfast for the first morning was already provided by Christelle and Benoit, so you can enjoy the vacation from the first minute.

Communication and hospitality was perfect, very appreciated kindness and kindness. The location is amazing, once the suitcases are packed, everything is easily done on foot. The view from the deck is fantastic. The quality of the bedding is very good and the place is tastefully decorated. EVERYTHING comes together for a very pleasant stay and create wonderful memories.

We had a great stay in this beautiful typical Basque Country house. As soon as we arrived, we felt at home: everything is perfectly thought out, nothing is missing. The garden is splendid, a true haven of peace. Reading in a deckchair, listening only to the birds singing, with the soothing sound of church bells in the distance, is simply magical. And what can I say about the hosts: welcoming, friendly and really very nice, they greatly contributed to the quality of our stay. A place where you can fully recharge. Thank you for this beautiful parenthesis!

We can only agree with the other very positive reviews for Mikel and his apartment. The Gros neighborhood is a wonderful base with many restaurants and shops. The sights are within walking distance. Zurriola beach is at your doorstep and always offers plenty to look with the many surfers, even from the balcony of the apartment. Mikel sekbst is very friendly and accommodating, a great host. Absolutely top recommendation.

Authentic house in a very quiet environment without neighbors. Very pleasant stay in a beautiful region with many walks for those who like to hike with elevation. House very well located close to Biarritz, Spain, the ocean and the main Basque villages... We'll be there again.

A very pretty village, a little isolated in the mountains. Very nice, clean and well-stocked accommodation. We discovered beautiful hikes and many things to do in the area. Ibai is very welcoming and gives good advice! We might come back:!! Thank you!

Teresa is a wonderful host, very flexible and proactive. The apartment is amazing, great location, very comfortable for our large family.

Ignacio, greeted us on arrival and went through everything we needed to access property. He also gave us a map and marked on it places that we were keen to explore. Ignacio also sent texts with buses, Taxi info and a lot of restaurants, Pinto places and bars. Would i recommend staying here, absolutely. just be mindful you will need a bus to get to the beach, but there are 2 stops 50/100 metres away and they run constantly. Ignacio was extremely friendly and helpful. Russell

Very good stay! The apartment is great and Virginie is very welcoming! We came for our anniversary with my spouse and Virginie gave us aperitif cakes and a bottle of champagne! Really very nice! We'll be back, that's for sure 😍

I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this home. Perfect for groups or families and the house had everything you could want to make you feel at home. The location is perfect if you plan to visit multiple French and Spanish cites. Very great location close to beaches and restaurants. We would definitely like to come again!

We had a really nice family holiday at Annie's place. The house and town are perfect for hiking in the area and short day trips to e.g. San Sebastian and to the sea. We've enjoyed it a lot.

Well-equipped accommodation, as described, and which perfectly met our expectations. Responsive host and very flexible check-in and check-out by her mother, who also gave us good advice on things to do and not to do in the area. Interesting location with private parking, which is a plus in summer.

Quiet, beautiful spot right on the river. Short drive to pamplona or etxauri. Good for those seeking a peaceful getaway in a sleepy little neighborhood with river sounds. The hosts are responsive and kind, and they have done an excellent job restoring this lovely old building.
