My home is a characterful and spacious 100 year old stone cottage in a tiny quiet street. There's 3 comfy bedrooms, new kitchen and lounge with dining table and Netflix. It is a peaceful west facing street nestled in Amble. I now have a luxury 6 person Hot Tub Spa too! Amble, known as "The Friendliest Port", has made the Sunday Times Top 10 Seaside Places to Live List. Northumberland also won Gold in the British Travel Awards 2018, so come and see what all the fuss is about!

We stayed for a week and would definitely recommend to come and stay here It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped .The beds were so comfy and had pure white bedlinen .The kitchen had everything that you could need and we enjoyed looking out at the view from upstairs at different times of the day.Alnmouth has some lovely restaurants and a couple of lovely cosy pubs and is well worth a visit. If you need a place to chill out this it ,we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return one day .

Lara’s cottage is in a great location for exploring Amble and the wider area. The beds are super comfortable, with a ready supply of towels. The cottage is spacious and spotless. Having private off street parking was really appreciated too. Lara is a very attentive host providing local recommendations for places to eat and also a welcome hamper. I would certainly recommend! The cottage is in a great position to the harbour. It was so well equipped. A fantastic base to travel around from and coming back from a day out and being able to park easily on the street was a bonus. Then relax in the yard was just what you needed. We had a small issue, but when I contacted James. He responded straight away and was at the cottage to sort it out within ten minutes.

We had a wonderful stay at Clutter Cottage in Northumberland – such a beautiful part of the world with easy access to stunning beaches and the dramatic coastline. The local seafood spot in Amble that was recommended was excellent – well worth a visit. Michael and Sarah are fantastic hosts. The cottage was immaculately clean and really thoughtfully prepared – the kitchen was well stocked, with lovely touches like local tea, coffee, and biscuits to welcome us. There were even treats ready for Rudy, our dog, which was much appreciated. The outdoor seating areas were perfect for a summer stay, with peaceful views across open fields – ideal for relaxing in the evenings. We’d happily return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Clutter Cottage to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable escape in a gorgeous part of the country.

Spotless, spacious, superb. This is an absolute gem of a property with a friendly and helpful host. Things that made it great - 1. It has all the amenities 2. Everything was spotless when we arrived 3. Large secure garden for our four legged friend and great patio furniture for us two legged ones 4. An easy, flat 15 minute walk into Amble with lovely restaurants 5. Great beaches north and south within a 10 minute drive 6. Well stocked supermarket less than 2 minutes away 7. Good selection of takeaways doing delivery 8. Lyn being proactive and helpful throughout Will I be back? You bet I will.

Beautiful property in a stunning seafront location. The cottage had all the amenities we needed with a wonderful view of the sea. Nigel and Jane were very welcoming and recommended a bistro in Amble, Jaspers which was one of the best meals we have had in a long time.

Really enjoyed our stay in Amble. Teema's house was lovely, spacious and comfortable with a beautiful kitchen. Easy walk into town where we found the Seafood Shack which didn’t disappoint. Wish we could have stayed longer.
