Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ames

This house is really cool. We felt like we would find new things to look at each day. We thought the upstairs room was the coolest. We loved the shape of it. It was hot this weekend but the backyard has a wonderful tree shade so we were able to enjoy the evenings outside relaxing after a long day of working the convention. I would stay here again for sure. Side note - the Dinotopia book on the coffee table took me back to my childhood. Loved seeing that.

This space is an oasis. It was perfect for my needs. It’s private and gorgeous. The backyard was more intimate than expected and loved the secret pathway to the gazebo/fire pit area. You can tell so much year round effort is put in for this home. It goes the extra mile! The house provided everything for us and was very clean. I love the space so much I wish I could buy it! The host is clear and committed to providing great communication. The neighborhood was quiet, safe and clean with a grocery store just 3 mins away.

This was a perfect spot for my sister’s bachelorette party! It was spacious, clean, and private. We spent most of your time around the fire pit, it was peaceful! Will definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone that’s wanting to stay in the area!

Laura and Tim were super accommodating for our very last minute reservation. She responded very quickly and was able to get us into their home within a few hours. The house was super clean and offered everything we needed for our one quick overnight. The bed was cozy. It is in a quiet neighborhood and not far from a beautiful walking path around the Veterans Cemetery. Dog friendly which we appreciated. The backyard is private with a great fenced in yard, firepit, grill and hammock with patio lights. Very peaceful. We enjoyed the beautiful tree with huge 🍃 leaves! We grabbed a quick late dinner at the Smoking Goat Bar Restaurant. Wings were excellent! We would definitely stay again. We can’t thank Laura and Tim enough for their lovely home and hospitality!

Great house in a great location to bars and restaurants. Easy to hop on the interstate to get to other Des Moines neighborhoods as well.

This was our second time staying at Abby's beautiful abode. We look forward to visiting The kids really loved seeing the ducks, geese, turtles and rabbits in addition to the catch and release fish. The house is beautiful and relaxing with lovely views of the water. Safe and friendly neighborhood.

Gina was a great communicator but above all she had so many little touches they added up to big wins for us. Milk. Snacks. Breakfast items. Toiletries. Laundry detergent. And the basement was a great hangout for our family. Exploring Ames we needed help with recommendations and all her suggestions were fantastic and so helpful. Thank you for a great stay!

In town with family for a show at Wells Fargo Arena and loved our stay here. Clean, cute and peaceful home with a gorgeous little sunroom and plenty of amenities. Quick drive to downtown. Would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect location to visit Drake. Very clean, modern and well-appointed studio with everything one needs. I hope it is available next time I visit!

Staying with Susie is now a yearly trip for us. She is an amazing host and you cannot beat the charm of the town. My daughter looks forward to this stay more than any other we take. Can’t recommend staying here enough.

I had a wonderful stay at Dallas’s Airbnb! From the start, Dallas was very responsive and answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly, which made the booking process smooth and easy. The place itself was spotless and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing environment. I appreciated the attention to detail for the checkin and out process. We stayed here for a family girls weekend and it was perfect! There was plenty of space and it was cozy and comfy! The place was so cute in a peaceful area but it was also super easy to get to where we wanted to go in the city. Check-out tasks were also quick and minimal. We will definitely stay here again if we’re in the area!

This was my second time staying at this unit. The next time I am staying in the area this will be the first place I check for availability.

Fun location with winery on first floor and apartment on second floor. Live music Friday night was great entertainment. Great for wine lovers! Close to High Trestle Trail for biking.

Allen responded very quick with detailed answers to any questions I had. The place was very clean when we arrived. There were lots of games to play such as bags, ping pong, washers, etc. that were great additions to the already very nice home.

Beautiful location and the place was spotless. Host was very responsive and accommodating. He came to greet us at check in and made sure we knew where everything was. Definitely recommend!

Everything was as expected, Jeremy was very informative. Fast to answer any questions and very accommodating to our girls wrestling team. We would definitely rebook if he would have us again thank you.

Beautiful and immaculately clean cabin. Large kitchen and is well stocked for cooking. The kids enjoyed the large private grass area and being on the swing. We also had a great time on the private property and also bonfire. We loved our stay.

We had a great stay! Our kids loved sleeping in the loft and playing in the playground. It's a cute little place, perfect for what we were looking for.

I had two different guests come on the same weekend. John was flexible in working with us to make sure he could accommodate both parties. My guests loved the spot and would definitely want to stay again when they come back! I highly recommend this little piece of heaven.
