Lovely comfortable, well equipped home. John and Dorothy were really friendly and welcoming hosts. nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were delicious.

I booked this on behalf of my mother who actually stayed. She could not fault Catherine and her hospitality. 5*s all round! Great welcome, spotlessly clean house and room and a delicious dinner. Catherine went above and beyond to ensure my mother was super comfortable. Really great place to stay!!

John and Steph are a hard-working couple doing their best to provide an exceptional stay for everyone! We were not disappointed and The Tower is steeped in history! We stayed in the front tower room, which was grandiose with enormously tall ceilings and with a lot of character. The breakfasts were amazing too! All in all we really enjoyed our stay and our visits out to the Welsh countryside… Thanks very much for looking after us so well 😊

Great place, good value for money, friendly and helpful staff, excellent location at the seafront. They even provided plant based milk for us, just let them know beforehand and it will be available. I will definitely come back :)

A lovely comfortable room, super clean and everything I needed for a nights stay. Superb breakfast available for £10. Lots of selection and beautifully cooked. Definitely recommend. The only thing I can think of that could be improved is a new telly but that’s minor detail as everything else was great

there were 3 /4 in our party of retirees walking the Sandstone Trail using 2 cars to get to start / end of each days walk. we stayed 3 nights. the accommodation was chosen because it was roughly halfway along the 34 mile north / south route, and just about 10 mins drive from Tarporley, which is directly on the route itself. in terms of those logistics it worked really well. the accommodation itself was just what we needed...a well equiped kitchen where we could do some breakfast and evening meals. unfortunately the weather wasnt quite warm enough to allow us sit in the garden to eat, but there was room for all of us around the dining table to eat togetger. bedrooms and bathroom were very good too. the Pheasant pub 5 mins away was very good too. warmly recommend!

Our brief stay in 'The Jockey Room' fulfilled all the criteria. A very convenient bolthole following an event Peckforton Castle. Sue recommended a friendly and efficient taxi company to take us there and back, cosy surroundings on our return in the evening and the ingredients for a good breakfast this morning. Thank you.

I stayed here with my 7 year old son and Pat and Ian were very welcoming, very helpful and absolutely lovely! Syd was also a delight to meet and cuddle!:) they went above and beyond for our stay and I would highly recommend them to anyone who was thinking of visiting the local area. The room was clean and had such a homely feel to it, my son was fast asleep as the bed was so comfy. Breakfast was also provided in the morning for us which was such a nice thing for Pat to do for us, I can’t thank or recommend them enough! X x

Beautiful views and wonderful conversion and our first Welch breakfast. We wish we could have stayed longer. The large house was so interesting with all the little period antiques and attention to detail. They also have a beautiful while horse that adds to the view! It was an overall wonderful time and we might be back if we are in the area again.

Mandy was great. She was super friendly and made every effort to make me feel comfortable and accommodated my bike which I needed for the Ironman I was in town for! The complimentary breakfast was a lovely touch. Had everything I needed. Clean fresh bedding, the whole place smelt clean and fresh. Great short stay for a solo traveller!

From start to finish Jane was a fabulous host,responded immediately to messages, guided us through the last part of our journey when we got a bit lost, our accommodation was privately accessible but she was still available when needed, she went above and beyond what you would expect from a host,she advised on local pubs for us to choose from for our evening meal and she even dropped us off and picked us up !! The bed was comfy and we had a fab night's sleep and the next morning she made us a beautiful full English breakfast served in her dining room,we felt she was a 100% excellent host whilst we where there,there is nothing she could have done better and would definitely recommend the b&b side of her business which is fairly new, im sure she is going to succeed with this just as much as her cottage and apartment also situated in the grounds of her home and we would definitely go back Thankyou Jane for all you did for us especially the extra little touches Paul and Rachael

A wonderful country location and only a short drive into Chester. Beautiful house with large bedrooms and en-suite bathroom, nice cool rooms with big windows overlooking the county side. A traditional cooked breakfast to high standards served in the beautiful dining room. Ample parking. Would happily stay here again,

If you are ever staying in Chester you should stay with Julianne, lovely host, both clean and comfortable, lovely house in a very quiet location only a 10 minute walk to town centre, I will be definitely back next year, many thanks Julianne.

I had a really nice time here. You get more than you pay for, everything you could possibly need and more. Jill was very friendly and communicated great. The space is cosy, relaxing and in a great location. I felt right at home here. I would definitely use again and strongly recommend. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

A beautiful and modern accommodation. Oscar was attentive and friendly, and helped with all our queries. His attention to detail was outstanding and the personal touches such as homemade bread and biscuits, along with a breakfast hamper, were very much appreciated. If we could give 6 stars we would.

We had a really lovely stay. Steve greeted us and looked after us. He couldn't have been more helpful. Our room was really comfortable and spotless. There is plenty of parking. Breakfast was delicious too.
