Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Apalachicola Bay

We always enjoy staying at "The Yellow Dog" as my girls call it. Its perfect for our family to come together and enjoy as we have our annual trip to St. Joe. Its seriously our davorite place to stay when we go, as we have stayed here for the past 3 or 4 years at least. Always a good time when we stay here.

I can’t begin to describe what an amazing beach house this was. It went above and beyond my expectations. I felt right at home as if it was my own. The distance to the beach was perfect. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. I was able to take my dog for a few mile long walks around the neighborhood. The sunsets are beautiful as well as the early morning breeze that blows through the screened in porch. The swing on the porch was big enough to sleep on. And if you are lucky you might even get to hear, see and feel the jets fly over heading towards or away from the near by Air Force base. But don’t worry you would hardly know the base was there unless you knew ahead of time. There are many restaurants and a cute little downtown. There is a lighthouse in town and even a Sea Turtle Center. I would definitely recommend Lourdes’ Pink Door Vacay and cannot wait to go there again soon.

My family are returned guest. This home feels like our home away from home! We love the area because it is quiet, not overly crowded, and not commercialized! Beautiful beach that allows you to have your pets vacation with you! You're allowed to have golf carts on the beach which is a great feature. Saved us numerous trips back and forth to set up for our beach day.

We enjoyed our family vacay and Charles was very responsive any time I contacted him prior to or during our stay with questions. The house is as described, very nice and clean. Our favorite part was being able to drive the golf cart around the neighborhood and to the pool although it is a very close walk to the pool. I’m not sure who enjoyed the golf cart more, the grandkids or the Dads. :) The beach was not crowded at all which was great. No complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend this house. You will love it! It feels like home away from home. Thank you for great family memories that were made during our stay!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Tara’s place in Florida! The house was beautiful, spacious, and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The personal pool was a dream—clean, private, and perfect for relaxing at any time of day. We especially loved the screened-in porches and multiple decks, which offered plenty of places to unwind and take in the peaceful surroundings. One tip for future guests: renting a golf cart really took our vacation to the next level. Being able to ride it to the beach and carry all of our gear made everything so much easier and more fun. It gave us the freedom to explore the area in a laid-back, beachy way. We’re already looking forward to our next trip—I’ll definitely be staying at Tara’s place again!

Audrey's Airbnb was perfect for our Port St Joe getaway. Walkable to the waterfront and downtown which was very convenient. We also walked the trail by the house each day. And we appreciated the close proximity to St Joe Beach and to Cape San Blas Beach. We will definitely be back again to stay !

Thank you Heidi for hosting us at your place! The place was very spacious, clean and the decor is beautiful. Also, probably one of the most well stocked places I've stayed. We really enjoyed the porch during the mornings and the location was perfect for exploring the town and the beaches.

My husband and I had such a great time here! We were looking for a quiet, private place near to the beaches on both the bay and the ocean sides for our honeymoon, which this place was exactly. Salem was extremely responsive, had the place beautifully set up, and had very clear and simple check-in/out instructions. Her recommendations and guides for the island and the mainland were great for our week-long stay.

We found Angelina’s place last minute as our plans had been rather up in the air on this part of the trip. The place is clean, cute, quiet, accessible, and wonderfully located. We will definitely keep it in mind for future trips :)

Listen….to me, the pictures did not do it justice! The place is very spacious and the aesthetic is quite lovely! They kept just enough in the actual building and the decor so that you could see remnants of a train station. Our daughter who was supposed to join us, is an interior designer and she would have appreciated the space! Also everything you could have needed was provided by Carla! We were out with family each day but if you’re the type who loves to cook and stay in…it’s perfect! All your pots/pans/utensils are there Lots of linen, laundry pods to wash, good hand soap, dish detergent, plenty of paper products. Even facial cleaning wipes if you need that. There was a nice basket and card also when we arrived with all types of goodies. The salt water taffy was a hit! The coffee/tea station was top rate!! Also televisions in every room with all the access you need for rainy days. Even games! This one is a keeper if you don’t mind being away from the downtown area which we did not.
