Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Apulia

Luigi’s place was wonderful. We greatly appreciated the well stocked kitchen that included bottled water, yogurts, cookies, and many other goodies to enjoy. The location is great. Very close to the center of the action but far enough to be super peaceful. Note, there are steep stairs particularly to the second bedroom. We didn’t have any problem with it but it’s not for everyone. If we are back in Ostuni, I’d love to stay back at this home.

Our stay has been amazing! The host is very welcoming and helpful. The property is clean, very well decorated and furnished. The location in the city center is very convenient. You can leave the car in the garage and enjoy walking through the city. We loved it a lot.!

Everything was great! Location was perfect and the space was lovely. Hard to beat the private pool!

Nos ha encantado estar en el alojamiento de Tommaso, es fantástico y único, lleno de detalles, no siempre se puede dormir en un edificio histórico. La situación es impresionante, centro histórico de Ceglie que merece mucho la pena visitar. Está lleno de restaurantes donde se come genial, siempre seguimos las recomendaciones de Tommaso y Vito que no faltaron! También queda muy cerquita de los pueblos y playas que hay que visitar en Puglia. Esperamos volver. Muchas gracias!

Francesco’s apartment was in a fantastic location in Bari, and very close to the old town and its array of great restaurants and cafes. The roof terrace is a big wow factor and we spent much of our time there with the beautiful sea view and the addition of sun loungers was a huge bonus. Francesco was very responsive on all communication with ourselves and very kindly arranged a taxi for our early morning departure to airport. The apartment was spotless and had had all we needed and we even had a bed/linen/towel change mid-week. Bari itself is located well to visit Matera and Alberbello and we loved the Italian hospitality and will certainly return to this delightful destination. Thanks again Francesco. Alison and Dave. Alejarnos con Johanna fue una experiencia espectacular, no solo por lo encantadora que es ella sino también por la increíble vista (la mejor de todo Matera sin dudas!) del apartamento. Johanna estuvo en todos los detalles haciéndonos sentir como en casa! Definitivamente volveríamos a elegirla! Muchas gracias!

Spent a wonderful fortnight at this charming authentic townhouse. The roof terrace with a sea view is a real bonus and an ideal spot for relaxing and drinking some of the fabulous local wine. The location couldn’t be better. It’s on a quiet pedestrianised road 5 minutes walk from Ostuni’s main piazza. There is a decent supermarket (Despar) about a 12 minute walk away and a fruit and veg shop 2 minutes down the road. There is no end of incredible restaurants in walking distance, my favourites being Taverna della Gelosia and Borgo Antico. Mine was partly a working holiday and the WiFi at the house was fast and reliable. The house is clean, comfortable and secure. The bathroom is particularly high standard and has a large walk in power shower. The kitchenette is small but serviceable. The number of steps property (and Ostuni itself) may not be ideal for young children or those with mobility issues. Luisa and Stefano are excellent responsive hosts. I’ve already rebooked for next year.

Wie schon oft beschrieben, besitzt die Wohnung zwei wundervolle, bestens ausgestattete Terrassen, tlw. mit Meerblick welche wir ausgiebig genossen haben. Die Wohnung liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum sauberen Stadtstrand, der Altstadt und vielen Bars und Restaurants. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen und die Wohnung ist überdurchschnittlich gut ausgestattet. Lediglich der Weg vom Parkplatz in der Hitze mit einer großen Menge an Gepäck und die engen Treppen sind eventuell für ältere Menschen ein Problem. Marco ist extrem reaktionsschnell und hat uns viele gute Empfehlungen inkl. der Routen gegeben. Das hat unseren Urlaub noch schöner gemacht. Ich kann diese Wohnung nur empfehlen und komme sehr gerne wieder. Wir haben uns immer gut betreut und wohl gefühlt.

Giuseppe is a great host, went above and beyond to accommodate us, on our morning of departure he made sure he was there to greet us off just as he did when we checked in, also Antonio from the ceramic shop had made us a souvenir that took 2 days to make but wasn't sure we would get it in time of our departure, Giuseppe was at our door step the early morning of our departure day with souvenir in hand, Above and beyond a true superhost, we hadn't left Italy yet and my wife and I are already planning our next trip back in the very near future. His excursion to pasteum was very well articulated and very knowledgeable. Again 5+ stars...

Ficamos completamente encantados com a casa da Erasmina, o local é super aconchegante e com ótimos restaurantes próximos. Além do mais é um ótimo ponto fixo para quem quer se deslocar pela Puglia e conhecer arredores.

My family and I stayed at Livia’s apartment during our stay in Polignano a Mare and this was our favourite stay during our entire trip to Puglia. Andrea was so kind and went above and beyond recommending restaurants and places to see and visit during our stay. On our first night it was late when we checked in and he helped us get a table at a very popular restaurant. The apartment was so clean and spotless. It was also very modern and spacious. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed as well as beach towels and drinks! It is in the most perfect location as it is a short and easy walk to the main area. If you’re visiting Polignano definitely stay at Livia’s apartment.

Our group have 5 including 2 seniors and 2 kids, we had great time 2 days in here, very closed with Matera central, no problem with luggages, walk around 10 minutes . The view is awesome, life memories, night time and earlier morning of Matera are the best. Strong recommended! You will love here.

Christina and Gianni were absolutely excellent hosts. Super friendly and even picked me up from the train station! Gave me lots of local recommendations for restaurants and bars. Highly recommend this apartment, basic but has all the necessities at a good price. Breakfast included in the price is at the cafe over the road, delicious pastries!! Short walk into centre of Lecce, far enough away for some piece and quiet. Thank you!

Adoramos a nossa estadia. O lugar é super confortável e aconchegante. A localização é ótima e de fácil acesso, ao mesmo tempo em que não é uma rua barulhenta. Rafaelle e sua esposa nos receberam muito bem e deram boas dicas de Polignano. Rafaelle nos levou num café local, sempre muito solícito. Altamente recomendado.

Perfect location right in the heart of the old city and incredible views of the sea from the terrace. Best sunsets! Amazing restaurants within 1 minute walk. Directly above the beach, 1 minute walk down to the beach. The terrace is spacious and even has an outdoor shower! The apartment itself is very spacious and the kitchen has everything you need. Very comfortable beds and plenty of natural light. Some street noise at night but never an issue for us. Parking was a bit far (10-15 min walk, but those are the city rule). Very communicative, kind and helpful host. We really loved our stay here and would highly recommend.

Abbiamo alloggiato qui per una notte. Appartamento pulitissimo, bagno moderno e posizione ottima, vicinissimo al centro. La signora Maria é stata sempre molto disponibile e gentile, lo consiglio sicuramente.

Claudia’s place was in a great location and the bonus was the garage for parking. It was easy to walk yo all the restaurants and the beaches. Claudia was very responsive but also respectful of our privacy. We would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks Claudia.

Die Unterkunft war toll und sehr sauber, alles wie auf den Fotos. Man fühlt sich wie zuhause. Bei der Küchenausstattung könnten mehr Utensilien sein. Es ist sehr belebt draußen, aber die Wohnung liegt ja auch zentral. Hat man die Terrassentür geschlossen, hört man absolut garnichts mehr. Top Wohnung und Alberobello ist ein Traum. Kleiner Tipp: steht einmal um 8 Uhr auf und ihr habt den Ort fast für euch alleine. Geht durch die Gassen und macht Fotos, dreht einen Film. Das sieht nachher traumhaft aus. Raffaele und seine Mutter erfüllen jeden Wunsch. Es wird sofort reagiert. Ich hatte 3 wunderschöne Tage dort.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der wunderschönen Unterkunft von Mikaela sehr genossen. Diese liegt sehr zentral in der kleinen Altstadt von Nardò und ist umgeben von vielen Restaurants. Ein wirkliches Highlight ist natürlich die Dachterrasse, in der man sich aus dem Trubel gut zurückziehen kann und den Nachmittag oder Abend gut genießen konnte:) Mikaela ist sehr proaktiv und immer stets schnell zu erreichen und konnte uns mit Tipps für die Umgebung versorgen. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder:)

Great place to stay, 7-10 minutes walk to the centre and easy parking. Three flights of stairs as apartment at the top, so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Overall great stay and would recommend.

I had a wonderful month in Lecce, a great deal attributes to the fact that I was staying at Fausto’s apartment. I think we’ve got the best view in the city. I really like this apartment a lot. It has every good quality that’s been mentioned in the previous reviews, and more. I also wanted to thank Fausto for his prompt responses and assistance. I had some knee issues and required assistance to get me to the train station and to the right platform the day I left and Fausto did not hesitate to help. For that he has my gratitude and thanks. I hope to return to Lecce and this beautiful apartment again in the future.
