We had a great stay, we will definitely go back. The house is extremely comfortable, beautiful and versatile, it gives both a warm and cold height. The location is perfect, both for those who want to know Gerês, and for those who just want to rest and enjoy the amenities of the house. The hosts are super friendly and flexible, I highly recommend!

Diogo was an exemplary host: always available, attentive and genuinely concerned with our well-being. Your kindness made the experience even more special. The space is simply breathtaking, perfect for resting the mind and recharging the soul. And as if the surrounding nature and the tranquility of the place were not enough, we had charming visitors: adorable kittens that appeared unexpectedly and immediately won our hearts. They were a sweet and caring asset, which gave even more life to our stay. We recommend it with our eyes closed - and with a full heart.

The location was first class with stunning views. The location was about 20 minutes from the nearest restaurants and supermatkets.

Mario and Cila’s home was one of the most beautiful I have stayed out. The house was an old olive oil mill, converted into a modern paradise. They thoughtfully incorporated the property’s history into the renovation. The home is beautiful but the grounds are next level! There is a running stream running along side and under the house with lush grounds and a wonderful pool. There is also a walking path to a little park with a waterfall! Super peaceful property. If you are looking for a getaway, look no further! Mario and Cila are super kind, gracious hosts! They welcomed us themselves and proactively provided tips and recommendations. Super appreciative of their hospitality.

The house sits in harmony with its surroundings and affords you the opportunity to enjoy it all, either sipping a glass of wine in the hot tub while watching the sun set, or lying in the pool and gazing down the valley to the river below. Beautiful. We were reluctant to leave and will definitely be back.

There were six of us in the house for a week and we had a fantastic time! Unfortunately, it was rather cold outside and only rained almost throughout, so we used the great outdoor area with pool very little. But even in the rain you can relax there superbly: inside by the fireplace on the couch, with board games at the large dining table, at the billiards or darts. Outside, the covered area by the stone oven and barbecue area even in the rain offers a cozy place, we grilled there, baked pizza and did sports together. The view from the pool and the stone table upstairs is at least as beautiful as in the photos, fantastic! The beds are super comfortable, we slept great. Dogs bark next door, but we quickly got used to it. The location is already very far from the beach and shopping, but no problem with car. César was an excellent host, even welcomed us at night and was always available and super nice!

Our stay with Dino and Ines was exceptional. The house and garden are beautifully kept and the pool was the cherry on top. Our hosts could not have been more friendly and accommodating and the facilities were fantastic, with many essentials catered for in the house. The surrounding area is really amazing and it was very easy to get around to places of interest. The hosts gave us so many brilliant recommendations for places to visit, nearby attractions, restaurants to eat and made it such an enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Would highly recommend a stay here and will definitely revisit in the future.

The house of Susana , is charming , super cozy , we feel at home . Pena was the little time we enjoyed it , they were good times in the family and to improve we took our dog , who was also very well received . The only aspect I would say to improve is really the time of check out , it is quite early , I think it does not make much sense especially for those who have not been able to enjoy the house enough, which unfortunately was our case . thank you very much Susana for your sympathy with everything ! We'll be back for sure!

The small house is a wonderful holiday destination. It is very lovingly and at the same time practically furnished. So you have everything you need. The location directly by the sea is great. It is also good that there is a fireplace, it can be uncomfortably cold in the evening. I found the conservatory very practical, it heats up during the day and you can use the heat for the house. It also serves as the connection between the house and the bathroom - very well solved. We also used the barbecue a lot, especially since there is fresh fish in the fish shop around the corner. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

The countless reviews say it all: this place and Murilo's hospitality are both exceptional. Best to check it out for yourself as my review won't do it justice. A few highlights: the kitchen is fully equipped, the space is family friendly, and the landscape is amazing. This is my favorite airbnb booking, and I travel a lot. A fantastic and unique space that really shows the incredible potential of buildings in Porto. The apartment is well-equipped and comfortable, and communication with the host was smooth and easy. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very nice house, rather spacious, completely faithful to the photos. All three bedrooms are upstairs. Perfect for 6 people. Ideally located to visit the north of Portugal without being far from Porto. Stores within 10 min and the train station 5 min away allows you to reach Porto in 50 min for €2.90! Dajas Douro Valley was perhaps more beautiful than the photos! It was the perfect place to relax between adventures in Lisbon and Porto. We especially loved spending time by the pool by day and cozying up with a bottle of wine by the fire pit by night. Alexandra and Tatiana were very welcoming. A few tips for future guests: The property is nestled in the hillside which means it is at least 20 minutes from towns/restaurants. We rented a car which was helpful for exploring nearby areas, but be prepared for many narrow, steep and winding roads! We found that Waze gave better directions (less rustic) than Google maps. We also wished we had stopped at a grocery store to stock up on some food for our villa before arriving. I also recommend booking reservations at local wineries as we didn’t have much luck just showing up (midweek at least). My husband and I would absolutely stay here again!

As far as we are concerned, the accommodation gets 5 stars. The apartment is neat, has an extensive kitchen and a private roof terrace. In addition, we were allowed to use the communal garden and swimming pool. Everything was taken care of to the last detail. In addition, you can also walk to the underlying lake within a minute, where you can swim! The nature in the area is beautiful, but very remote. Porto is a 1.5 hour drive and is definitely worth a day trip. All in all, we would definitely recommend the accommodation for a week of recharging in nature. The host is also very nice, her father kindly welcomed us, there was a bottle of wine and cheese ready for us and later we got fresh eggs from their own chickens. Finally, he even washed our car just before departure. Really sweet!

Everything perfect. We stayed in Easter week, 5 adults and 2 girls. The house is beautiful, super clean, well cared for and equipped (BBQ, pool, lounge chairs, football). The beach and many restaurants within walking distance. Hosts deserve a separate mention. They are fantastic, they treat you as if you were family, helping you in everything and trying to make you a perfect stay. Thank you so much for everything!!! See you next time
