Actually, so much has already been written about this great Airbnb. We agree with ALL positive reviews. If you are planning an individual holiday in the Algarve, you should book here. It was fantastic. Our life in the almost 2 weeks took place mostly outside. It is so nice to enjoy the first coffee/tea on the roof terrace in the morning or wine in the evening. Our 2nd favorite place was the courtyard with kitchen counter. We loved having breakfast here and enjoying the affogato in between. We had planned not to cook. However, it was so much fun in this well-equipped kitchen. So, there were small dishes or salads in the evening. Restaurants, the small market hall, the local grocery stores and 2 discount stores are within walking distance. We liked Silves very much. There are good opportunities to shop for beautiful things here. Many thanks to Marta + Levi for the communication + the new dishwasher

What a great house! We had the pleasure of spending a few days in Marlene's house in Silves and thoroughly enjoyed it. The love and focus on quality she put into the renovation are evident in every detail. The decor is tasteful, the amenities are complete, and the roof terrace is simply wonderful. We used the house as a base to explore the Algarve between Portimao and Faro, but also enjoyed Silves, a very beautiful place with a relaxed atmosphere and good restaurants. The house is located in the old town, and everything is within easy walking distance. However, please note that the town is built on a hill. Check-in and check-out were easy and Marlene helped us very quickly when we had a problem with the electronic lock. We highly recommend Silves, the house, and Marlene as our host and hope to return soon.

We had a great holiday at Miguel in Silves and the kids loved it! The house has plenty of space (we were 5), was very clean and bright and has amazing views. You can walk around the old city from the house. Very nice coffees for breakfast and restaurants for dinner. There are plenty of activities for kids around. Miguel answered to our questions always very quickly and shared recommendations with us. Also very lucky with the weather, the beaches were wonderful and we could enjoy some time in the swimming pool. We will definitely come back! Thanks Miguel!

We spent a lovely week in Jamie’s home. It is so much bigger than it appears on the photographs. So nice to have comfortable beds with good bedding. Silves is a good base to head out and explore other areas on the Algarve. Others mention lack of privacy but it wasn’t an issue for us as we had nothing to hide!! I contacted Jamie during our stay and he gave an immediate response and followed up afterwards. We had a team of cleaners come in midweek. They deserve a special mention as everywhere is very clean. We had a fabulous stay and can offer a few suggestions for added comfort for future guests. The lounge is very large and has ample space for another sofa to accommodate everyone comfortably. A small table in the kitchen would add more workspace for food preparation. A few extra seats on all the balconies to enjoy that spectacular view of the castle - a view we will all miss.
