Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Please spend your time as you like in a special space that is detached from your daily routine. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, a town blessed with forests, lakes, and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture. There are many natural sightseeing spots nearby, such as the Kurohime Highlands, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi. The building from the early days of the town has been stylishly renovated using natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster.We also paid close attention to the interior design and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". In the snow-covered winter, you'll have a stunning view of the silver silver.Snowshoeing in the footsteps of animals and go out for a snowy picnic, or enjoy a bonfire and BBQ in the winter at the east house on the banks of the creek. This is a renovated traditional house in a village of about 10 households in Myoko. There are various ski resorts within 10 to 20 minutes by car (Akakura, Suganohara, Seki Onsen, Ala resort). There is a smoking table in the garden. There are no restaurants nearby because it is far from the city. Please have dinner before you arrive or bring your food. The kitchen includes water, a gas stove, dishes, pots, and frying pans. There is also a fire pit for barbecuing in the garden. This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noise. Because it is a house nestled deep in the mountains, we do our best, but there are insects during the warmer months.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves are dancing. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's never an easy home to live in, but with a great view and experience. There is a full counter kitchen with stunning views and condiments and cookers so you can enjoy cooking.(No BBQ equipment)
