Family-friendly holiday rentals in Arcola

Anna's place is spectacular and prob the best Airbnb we've stayed at - the views from the apartment are insane, the rooftop deck is huge and from my vantage point some of the best in all of Cinque Terre, not just Manarola. We ended up liking Manarola the best of all the towns and Anna did a great job communicating with us the entire time. A couple of notes - the first is that there is a way down to the water that doesn't require you going all the way back down Belvedere but using steps that are closer to the apartment. The second is that for a while I couldn't find the AC in the living room, but its in the ceiling right between the bedroom and the bathroom, you might have to walk over to it and point the remote at it to get it to turn on properly!

This apartment is located at the Corniglia bus stop - so it’s easy to take the bus up and skip those 377 steps if you want! The apartment has a lovely terrace with beautiful views of the Mediterranean, comfortable furniture, and air conditioner units in every room. The only thing to be aware of is: if you like to shower, that is a bit difficult in the jacuzzi as the ceilings are low (but if you like bathing it’s a cozy tub with a cool sunroof which opens for ventilation)

We loved our stay so much! Beautiful house and surroundings :) Borgo Val Di Taro is also a cute village to visit for ice cream, food and a good playground for our small kids! Thanks a lot for everything! We wish to come back in the future!

We spent 3 fantastic days in Daniele's villa, immersed in the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside. We were 9 friends and the house was perfect for our stay: spacious, clean and equipped with all comforts. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were the stars of our relaxing days, while the indoor sauna added a special touch to the evenings. The common areas are spacious and well organized, and the outdoor porch is ideal for a barbecue. Daniele was an impeccable host: always available and attentive, he made us feel welcome right away. We recommend this stay without hesitation, perfect for those seeking peace, comfort and a beautiful place to share moments with friends.

We had a fantastic stay! The accommodation is beautifully located, high above Pistoia – about 30 minutes away – in the pleasantly cool mountains, which was ideal in the summer temperatures. Even though the well-known cities of Tuscany are a little further away, the location was perfect for us. Daniele and Alessandra were very hospitable, always available and gave us many valuable tips about the area. We have grown very fond of Pistoia during this time. The combination of the quiet, natural location of the Airbnb and the lively, charming city life was just right for us. The area is ideal for motorcycle, scooter or bicycle tours: winding mountain roads, magnificent views and many small, old villages that invite you to discover them. Thank you!! Simply unbelievable – a secluded haven with everything you'd want from a holiday home in the Italian countryside. We spent 6 days with our two young kids at Monica's place, and had one of the best holidays ever. The house is beautiful, well-equipped and charming, and the views are out of this world. Sunset out of the bedroom window will stay with me forever! Then there's the gardens - lots of room for kids to run around in complete safety, with a large infinity pool (cold in May, but still enjoyed every day by us and the kids… the view was so beautiful I proposed to my fiancee there 🥳), and also a playground and outdoor bowls lane. There's an excellent restaurant within 5 minutes walk, but Sillico is a quiet, beautiful medieval hamlet and not much more – be aware that to get anywhere you'll need to drive 12 minutes down quite a narrow twisty road. It didn't bother me, but just something to be aware of for less confident drivers. Overall: one of the best places I've ever stayed!

Gorgeous, gorgeous home! Wished we stayed longer to really enjoy the outdoor terrace a lot more. Extremely clean and Azzurra was a very gracious host who allowed us to drop off our suitcases when we arrived earlier than the check-in time. Phenomenal views with a gorgeous outdoor area, worth it for the walk through the village. The village itself is also one of the quieter ones out of the 5, so would recommend to stay in to get a more local feel. For those reading, don’t do what we did which was walk up the hill with our suitcases! Azzurra did mention the bus from the station before we arrived and we should have listened! I will highly recommend waiting to take it to reach the village. Will definitely come back again! Thank you Azzurra!

It was special treat to be welcomed by Laura when we arrived. She was a great hostess. We felt very comfortable in the spacious surroundings which included an outdoor terrace with expansive views across the Garfagnana valley. As we didn't have a car we walked into Barga which is about 20 minutes. Barga offers shops, restaurants and art galleries. I found lots of opportunities to do some painting around the old town and walks to nearby villages. We loved Barga and are keen to return.

Luca is a great host, really communicative and great with instructions, apartments are really pretty and 2 min walk to the plaza with lots of shops and restaurants we had a great time and will definitely come back 🥰

Nice and calm Apartment with a great view next to La Spezia. You have so many different options what you can do e.g. - you can visit different beaches, you Can go hiking, you Can start trips to La Spezia, Cinque Terre or even Pisa - its only one hour with the car. We stayed for one week and we recommend this Apartment!

What an amazing place to stay. The photos really don’t do the beauty of this place justice. The view from the property is stunning and it really isn’t far from Vernazza. Katia met us at the train station and helped guide us to the property, giving us great advice and recommendations for our stay on the way and making us feel at home straight away. Fantastic and unique property - we will definitely be coming back here!

Damiana was amazing!! The elevator was out of service when we arrive so she sent a taxi to the train station to bring us to the air bnb. Not only did she help us with our bags, but she had a bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us to celebrate our marriage! She was so receptive. The view was AMAZING!!!!! It was like a home away from home. I wish we stayed longer

Beautiful, and peaceful…just the singing of swallows in the morning. Everything you want to wake up to in the morning….a beautiful view, the option of a morning swim, and a baker who delivers. I’d advise getting up with the sunrise and sitting on the terrace with your coffee, the birds and the mountains. Francesca is super flexible and helpful for everything. It’s a few minutes drive from Barga which, although is small, has several excellent restaurants

As others have said—all of the reviews are spot on! A unique setting in the countryside about 30 minutes drive to Parma on mountain roads, beautiful historic building and grounds (with tastefully updated bathrooms to go with the historic charm, plus even a clothes washer and dryer you can access, a rarity in Italy), and a consummate host in Maria Teresa. Using her knowledge and connections to get personalized tours of smaller local parmigiano and prosciutto factories was a real highlight, and we especially enjoyed the nearby Torrechiara castle as well. The kids loved her animals too. 10/10 stay!

Our stay at Marina and Paolo’s hilltop home in the Tuscan hills was nothing short of magical. The house is a true piece of paradise, immaculately clean, with breathtaking views that left us in awe every day. Marina and Paolo were incredibly kind hosts, making us feel completely at home. The swimming pool was fantastic, and the entire experience immersed us in the charm of Tuscan life. We highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway!

Amazing place! Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the Lucca hills. Very peaceful. Lots of birdsong. We saw a deer in the garden! The grounds are brilliant and the place is the perfect size for a couple. We loved eating on the terrace with the great view, and swimming in the private pool. Only a short drive to Lucca which has some amazing restaurants (our favourite was Osteria de Pasquale). There’s some great vineyards in the area - our favourite was Fattoria Sardi. If I was reading this review I wouldn’t think twice about booking!

All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We loved staying at Elisa’s place - so lovingly restored and a truly special place. Beautiful setting and we loved hanging out in the garden on the sun loungers in the peaceful surroundings.
