Dimitris was an amazing host, super welcoming and clearly takes pride in seeing his guests have the best time possible duringtheirstay. The wine and patisserie were really lovely and unexpected touches. The villa was perfect for us and the pool / terrace really makes Villa Zoi special. Kefalonia itself is a beautiful and unspoilt island and Villa Zoi was the ideal base to explore from. Thank you for a great family holiday.

This place is fabulous. The accommodation is almost new and kept to a high standard. That view Wow! It’s difficult to prise yourself away from the Villa as it’s so comfortable sitting by the pool, soaking up the sun and having such a lovely villa with all of its amenities to hand. Kostas and Tammy are lovely friendly people, they were responsive and Kostas met us in the village upon arrival ( 2mins away) as finding the Villa would have otherwise been tricky. It’s up a hill and a good walk to the nearest bar / restaurant, so we found a car essential. Kostas recommended a local car hire company and they were fabulous 👍. Alan the cat is a bonus , so friendly , we felt obliged to keep him nourished. He’s not allowed inside the Villa but he is in no way a nuisance, just a lovely character. There are many bars and restaurants, some on the beach front and some in the village. Again car essential ( or local taxi). I would highly recommend this accommodation 👍

Really lovely stay, perfect size accommodation for 2 people, and a little plunge pool to enjoy in the mornings before heading out. Plus incredible views across the mountains! You would definitely need a car to get around down to the beach and restaurants. Dimitris is really helpful and has so many recommendations to send across and tell you all about. He kindly gave us pool towels in addition to regular house towels which was very useful during our stay. Would highly recommend staying.

Anna is clearly an experienced traveller and/or host because the villa is very well equipped in the kitchen and outdoors. Towels are provided and fresh bedding is provided mid week. The pool is a nice size and the property is clean and private. The area is very hilly but easily accessible to the nearest beach, restaurants and bakeries. 15/20 minutes from the airport and a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket (a large Lidl is 10/15 minutes away). Would recommend.

Another great stay. We stayed at the second villa last year and loved it so much we came back for the first. The weather wasn't as good but that isn't in the hosts control. So good and we'll be coming back next year!

We had the most wonderful stay with our two children. The house is perfect with so many amenities. All the appliances are high quality and basically brand new! We had everything we needed and more. The pool and bbq area is fantastic. The views beautiful. Location is private but easy to get to other locations. We loved visiting Sami and the Melissani Cave’s not to be missed. The host went above and beyond, always responsive and kind. We highly recommend the house and have already told family and friends about it!

Lovely holiday villa, well located on S coast, not far from airport. Well equipped and comfortable. Within walking distance of 2 beaches and tavernas. Local contact, Barbara, was responsive to our enquiries.

The Villa was perfect for a stay on Kephalonia and located near some fantastic beaches. It was much bigger than expected, and the pool area was fantastic - one of the best we’ve come across. We’d 100% stay again if we came as we felt at home and the host (and his parents) were great. Thanks for a great stay

It was our first visit to the island and we explored a lot! We are so happy we chose this home. It was exactly as described. The views were wonderful. We enjoyed the patio each morning and night. It was very peaceful. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable in our travels between 3 rentals, We were fortunate that grapefruit and lemons were in season. What a treat those gifts were. I prepared dinner on our last night and all I needed was available and clean! The home was co clean. It was such a please to speak often with this couple. I’ll de dreaming of our stay.

Great apartment with a wonderful view of the valley and sea from the terrace. Landlady Hermina was super friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable, the beach of Petani around the corner. Nothing was missing, some coffee was available on arrival. We were very satisfied, it was very quiet at the beginning of June, great for relaxing. We only used the kitchen sparingly, but it was well equipped. Everything was as described, we felt very comfortable.

Christina is an awesome host ! - really can’t wait to stay there again. Very friendly welcome and departure, very comfortable house with all necessary amenities. Nice level walk along the moorings to the town centre and all the fabulous restaurants!

We had a great time with Stavros and Sofia. The place is beautiful. The views over the sea on the terrasse are stunning. It felt very private, nontheless Stavros was always close for any requests (for example, providing an umbrella for the beach). The apartment was very adequate and we spent great 9 nights here. There are great beaches nearby (although you need a car), and its a good base to explore the island. An absolute gem and we would fully recommend it to anyone!

I have stayed in many houses and met many hosts. But I can confidently say that Petros and Maria are best hosts I have ever met! Continuously trying to help their guests, all requests and questions are responded with a big smile, understanding, empathy and compassion. The moment we stepped inside the house they made us feel like we are part of their family. The house is based inside an olive tree farm and the land is shared with 3 more houses. There are lovely animals around, dogs and cats… We just loved it! Every time you come home you’ll have Malou (the cutest dog I’ve ever seen) cheering your arrival! The internet in the island is a bit slow but there is nothing that can be done. Petros even brought another router to help us! It is related with the island. I miss the farm already!

Had a great time - the house is perfect for families with small kids, ours absolutely loved the garden and the swing. Also, there is a large tree which provides shade and acceptable temperature even around noon (30+ degrees). Pebbly beach with cristalclear water just across the street and several beautiful beaches in walkable distance. Beautiful sand beach ~10 mins drive. The house itself has a large, very nice living room/kitchen and has everything one needs with two small kids. Chara was an amazing host, helped with everything and also got the dishwasher repaired within a few hours when it stopped workinf mid-week. Highly recommended!

I travel a lot with Airbnb and I can say that in Cephalonia I found the best host and the best home among all those we have been to. Kostas and his family are uniquely helpful and kind. The house is beautiful and comfortable, we stayed in 4 plus a 15-month-old baby, excellent level of cleanliness and maximum tranquility. As for the location, it is very good for the Argostoli area and sandy beaches within a 15-minute drive maximum, for the others like Myrtos, Petani, Fiskardo you can get there in half an hour/one hour (Fiskardo). I would definitely come back and recommend Kostas' accommodation. Thanks for everything.

We had a really lovely stay at the Endless Blue House. The house was perfect - big comfortable bed, beautiful private garden, and the BBQ and Hot Tub were great additions. Having immediate access to the stunning crystal clear blue sea was incredible and much needed. Shops and tavernas in Sami are only a 5/10 minute walk away along the adjacent path, with a variety of excellent food on offer. Pantazis was an excellent host - would highly recommend hiring one of his motor boats to explore the coast and nearby beaches. Overall a great holiday.

Angela’s place was incredible - probably one of the best airbnbs we have ever stayed in! The location was ideal, the house was fantastic, the pool and outdoor area were so relaxing. A great place to come back to after a busy day exploring or out at one of the nearby beaches! The walk into Lassi or Argostoli is easy, and there are a few really nice beaches nearby in walking distance. Angela gave some great recommendations and was always responsive to any questions we had! We’d definitely stay here again, thanks Angela!

Zoe’s Suite is perfect for a couple! It has everything you would need - fully equipped kitchen, secure parking, aircon, king size bed, luxurious shower room - and we had a very comfortable stay. Above all else, it has the most stunning sea views that we enjoyed looking out at all throughout the day, from the moment we woke up in bed to when we had our meals outside. The villa is situated in a great location, just a 10 minute drive from large supermarkets, the main town of Argostoli, and most importantly one of the best sandy beaches in Kefalonia (Makris Gialos)! The village of Lakithra is peaceful and quaint, with a few restaurants, a bar and a delicious pastry shop (Antonis) down the road that you have to try for traditional delicious pastries/cakes. All interactions with Clayde, Panagis and Nancy from HostingMe were great - prompt, friendly, accommodating! We really can’t recommend Zoe’s Suite enough, you’ll love your stay!

Pavlina has a beautiful and spectacular house,the absolute gem is the pool . The only bad note is the low-performance WIFI as it was constantly unplugging. Pavlina is a great host who is always available and accurate. If I had to go back to Kefalonia, I would go back to you. Slightly uncomfortable location just for the degrading homes around there.

Brilliant stay at the tiny smart house recently. The location is perfect for walking and exploring Argostoli and Lassi, it felt like we were equidistant from everywhere we wanted to visit. The smart Echo system is brilliant for operating the heating and lighting and we loved popping on Spotify whilst we prepared for the day and relaxed with a drink just like we would at home. The shower was spacious and the bed comfortable. The outdoor area is lovely perfect for relaxing with a coffee first thing or with a glass of wine at night. Thanks again for the wine on arrival given the late hour it was the perfect start to our trip around the island. Local recommendations restaurants: Aristofanis, Orea Kouzinaki and Yard (other side of De Bosset Bridge, great for brunch), nearby beach: Gradakia (20 mins walk)

We absolutely loved our stay in kefalonia, the apartment was in a perfect location. It was clean, tidy and we felt settled and comfortable. The host was very friendly and made me feel welcomed and asked if I had settled in ok too 😊 Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful 3 weeks at Maistros apartments, hosted by Marinos Simatos, a charming, responsive & thoughtful host. The 2 bedroom apartment was well maintained, nicely furnished and well equipped. Located in an excellent location, it is a short walk from the bars & restaurants of Lassi with beautiful views of the coast & sunset, perfect for a peaceful family break. The apartment lacks air con (and this would be welcome in future) but all of the rooms have ceiling fans and are well ventilated. We were also provided additional fans as it was very hot during our stay. Marinos was an exemplary host. When we arrived we found the fridge stocked with complementary cold drinks. Marinos was quick to accommodate our requests - a spare table for the balcony, fresh laundry, extra coat hangers, fans etc. Generously, he gave us a superb bottle of family-produced red wine, as well as oregano & lentils to take home - greatly appreciated! A perfect holiday base and a perfect host, 10/10, superb!
