Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Argostolion

Loukia and Stefanos's cottage is a great place to stay on Kefalonia. It is an easy 10 min drive to the lovely beaches Travizaki and Aquinas and both have a good cafe/ bar. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable and the hosts are a pleasure to meet. The driveway entrance is 70m from the Moussata Bakery, coming from Poros, opposite a salmon/pink house with broght green shutters. A minimarket is cose by on thd beach road. We stayed 8days and loved our holiday there. Two bus tours we took, winery and Ithaca, were great value, as was Greekstones car rental.

As a family of four, we loved our stay in this beautiful house. As soon as walked in we felt right at home. The verandah area is lovely, the beds are comfortable, the decor is tasteful and beautiful and the house is so welcoming we didn’t want to leave. Everything worked perfectly and was in excellent condition. It has everything anyone could possibly need in a very convenient location. One of our favourites!

Hard to find such nice people, Sofia welcomed us immediately despite having changed the arrival time at the last minute, she made us find welcome drinks and immediately gave us a lot of information on how to get around the area. She lent us a beach umbrella when she found out we were going to a beach where we would need it, and one morning she even brought us two slices of freshly baked cake. As for the accommodation, fantastic! Everything was super clean and the garden was cool and very comfortable for enjoying the view and sunsets offered by the area. Highly recommended!

Staying in the villa feels like staying at home: it’s cozy, well equipped, decorated with love and Angie and her family are all incredibly nice. A huge bonus- they can prepare food for you which is with home grown vegetables and tastes amazing. We had no issues with the check in or when leaving and I feel we were very lucky to have found this place. If you want peace and quiet, a gorgeous view and the privacy of a whole house, this is your place. 🧡

The house was really cosy, very clean with all necessary kitchen equipment for a family stay. The bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of room for our child to play inside and outside. We could park our car exactly in front of our house which was really convenient when you have a child and many things to carry. The yard was really large, very clean and you could also go for a run or walk in the morning or evening. Maria and her son Petros were very friendly, supportive and gave us great instructions for tours and places to visit. Felt like home. We will definitely visit them again !!

We had a very nice stay in this village. Its quite central on the island, so you can reach every place quite fast by car. Its very spacious and has everything you need for a vacation in Kefalonia.

My boyfriend and I had a very good and nice stay. We loved it, both the island and the house, very intimate and equipped with everything you need. We rented a scooter and got to the center very quickly and to the shops. We liked the most how the house was so arranged, both architecturally and aesthetically. The only thing in the home would be the fact that the bed was much too soft than we are used to, because we sleep on a semi-soft bed is much more suitable for the column/body ( which caused back pain) and sometimes we found cockroaches in the house, which stressed us, because we had to kill them. Otherwise it was great!

Enjoyed our stay in a great location. Spacious bedrooms, basic equipment in kitchen. Good Wi-Fi. Useful outdoor space. Flexible checking in and out worked well.

Wow wow wow!!! Villa Menda is absolutely stunning! We couldn’t have been more comfortable - from the modern fully equipped kitchen, gorgeous bathroom, super comfy bed, swimming pool, outdoor grill, ping pong and next level view, this is a really special find. We don’t usually revisit places but we will definitely be returning to Villa Menda. Panagiotis is an amazing host and the villa is well located for easy access to all the island!

Beautiful Villa! A group of us stayed here with 2 small children. The cleaner came twice during our 10 days, the fridge was stocked with some things when we arrived, beds made, everything clean & tidy. It was a lovely stay! Definitely need a car though, there is 2 restaurants within a 10 minutes walk, however one was always shut when we went to go. We ended up driving into the town every evening for dinner :)

Alexandra and the team are wonderful, responsive and friendly. the space and the pool is clean and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed. the wifi was fast and the beds were so comfortable. well worth the price. karavamylos is a beautiful little town. can't recommend enough!

Pantheon Villa is an absolutely beautiful home and a perfect setting for our family holiday with three teens. It’s spacious with nicely appointed rooms and lots of personal furniture which gives it a luxurious feel. It has everything you could need from an amazing pool to a great coffee maker - and the hosts left a generous welcome package which was a lovely touch! The hosts Nikos and Varvara could not have been more helpful or welcoming - they left clear instructions and were available on message to answer queries. The area around the villa is stunning and there are lots of great beaches and restaurants nearby. Would highly recommend and we really hope to be back sometime!

Wow! This place is truly magical. Breathtaking views, a gorgeous pool terrace, spacious & comfortable interiors- All located in a beautiful village in the hills, conveniently located 10 mins drive from stunning beaches. Athina was so helpful with local knowledge & places to see, we had a superb time as a family of 8. She left a welcome pack of local fruit & veg aswell as honey, jam & wine, cheeses & butter. We felt so welcome and at home. There’s a mini market 5 mins walk away with all the basics & larger shops in small towns in 15 mins drive. Delicious & friendly restaurants & tavernas within 15 mins. The area is easy to drive around. Top 3 hot spots: Vouti beach/ Taverna, Assos & Fteri beach on the water taxi. My 10 year old loved feeding the village cats & seeing the goats walk past with their bells. Great places to swim, snorkel & jump off rocks - The water is the most turquoise I have ever seen! Forever memories made. This house, Kefalonia & Nifi has stolen our hearts.

The hosts were so lovely and helpful. They very kindly gave us a welcome hamper of food for our first morning and gave us early check-in and late check-out. They even gave us a hamper with nappies and some supplies for the baby which was so kind and thoughtful. The villa is beautiful, clean and is even nicer than the photos can show. We hired a car as there isn't a huge amount in the immediate area but it's so peaceful and it's really easy to get taxi's if you don't have a car. We will definitely book again on our next visit to Kefalonia. Thank you again x

We really enjoyed our stay at the bungalow, it was in a good location within walking distance of a supermarket and restaurants at Porto harbour. The house had everything we needed and the pool was a great addition as it was very hot! We hired a boat from George which was a fabulous day. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at the Villa. The host was very communicative and always available to answer all our questions. The layout includes 3 floors with a double room and kitchenette on each level so great for groups of friends of families. The pool area is great. Best to have a car but was an easy 20 minute walk into Skala and you can order taxis for €8 each way. Overall would stay again and recommend!

I can’t say thank you enough. Vasiliki went above and beyond to make my stay beautiful. She is a fantastic host. Full of warmth and generosity. I wanted peace before starting a retreat locally. Travelling on my own I wanted to feel safe but have access to a village. This set me up for the week ahead. If you want peace and quiet but only 10 minutes from the airport look no further. I would recommend Villa Darte all day long.

I cannot recommend Anna and Spyros as hosts enough! What a lovely stay. We were there for a full week and our hosts were so communicative, helpful and generally lovely throughout our stay. They really went out of their way to help us out when navigating tricky rental car situations and late flights. The unit was exactly as described and so peaceful with beautiful views. The terrace was perfect for morning coffees and evening drinks in the setting sun. The area was very calm and not overly touristy in early June, and we appreciated being able to try many authentic cafes and tavernas nearby. The beach is just a short drive away and the airport is conveniently close. Again, I can't recommend this stay enough!

Nikos and Mirto were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in the stone house. The neighbourhood is very calm and there are a lot of nice local restaurants wich you have to try. We would recommend to stay here :)

Lovely charming house in a quite neighbourhood, just a few footsteps from the beach. Kostas is a very helpful and friendly host, and gave us recomandations to what we should see during the stay. We will definately come back.

great location, the house is spacious and comfortable. communication was easy and helpful. stayed here with my parents and my 18 month old son. i highly recommend! my only concern is that that the building stairs arent safe for a young toddler (there is a safe elevator) but the stairs have low windows with no bars, that a 2 year old could easily walk out from, so be mindful.

Makis and his family were such kind hosts who made us feel so at ease and welcomed for our stay! The idyllic cottage has everything you need to be comfortable and self-sufficient, with a wonderful patio space under the grape vines where we enjoyed sitting in the shade with our meals. The location is quiet with lots of birdsong and the friendly sounds of the chickens and geese from across the yard. If you choose to stay at this delightful Airbnb you will receive unmatched warmth and hospitality from a wonderful family on a marvellous island!

Mister Efthimios was very proactive and responsive when it came to communication before arriving at the place. When we arrived, he greeted us warmly and gave us a small tour of the apartment. I had to work from home during my stay, and the Internet was being a bit spotty but Mister Efthimios came over more than three times to help me with the issue. He was super helpful, kind, respectful and polite. many, many thanks for the lovely stay! 5/⭐
