Bruce's place was perfect! The location made traveling around the city safe & easy. The space itself was roomy & private. Bruce & his wife, Vania were very kind & accommodating to our delayed flight and provided great informationon the area. The breakfast was fresh & delicious. We really enjoyed our time and would love to come back again and visit.

John's place is so lovely in a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood, easy to find and park, just 6 minutes to the Metro and train station by driving, 12-15 minutes to water front and King Street with bunch of restaurants. The bed is super comfortable, and all kinds of snack food in the room. The sweetest part is the peeled and sliced fruit in the refrig…John and Rick are very kind, we must choose here again and strongly recommend to those visit Alexandria.

Linda was a wonderful host for us. The space is very cozy. The location is excellent: walking distance to the metro and restaurants. Short drive to all of the Rockville amenities. There is a lovely park close by for exercise. We were traveling for work: both remote and in-person. The WiFi was excellent and we were able to work quietly in the space. There are also 3 adorable Dachshund pups who live at the house that we loved to see and pet as we entered and exited the space. Highly recommend! Thank you for hosting us! :)

Phil is an amazing person who makes you feel at home. The indoor places are comfortable and spacious. The breakfasts are amazing. Totally recommended.

I've now stayed many times and it's good to return to a friendly welcome! I really enjoy the beautiful view outside the large sliding glass windows in the downstairs living & kitchen area that is reserved for guests. Since I wake early I usually have it to myself, even if others are staying in the room next to the room I occupy. I can leisurely make coffee and get my breakfast ready then sit and enjoy the peaceful view, and read, or phone my husband to see how our menagerie is faring. The location is also great for me - very close to Glenmont Metro if I want to go to museums downtown, and also close to major roads and the ICC and I-95 to visit Baltimore, and to visit my son and friends in nearby areas like Laurel, Olney, and Kensington.

One of the best AirBnB in the area. Phil was a wonderful host, very engaging, friendly, very helpful and an all around great person. I will definitely return since I come to DC often.

I love stayed in here she’s definitely more than a host super friendly and make me feel like home and her friend !!❤️ so thankful of stayed here the place it’s a beautiful green area and everything in the room was so clean and comfy bathrooms clean everything was perfect loved it !!

A truly wonderful stay, the hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming. We immediately felt at home upon arriving and are extremely grateful for how clean the house was, the hosts truly go above and beyond!

Exactly how it is described and pictured. Great B&B and how much interaction you have with the host is up to you. Full breakfast weekends were great…didn’t need to eat until dinner. Matters was super soft and comfy and temperature was perfect.

This was hands down the best Air BNB I’ve been too in a long time! My kids loved it and it was so clean and peaceful! Great hosts! Great vibes!

David was a fantastic host. We felt completely at ease for our 6 nights of stay. It was a clean place with all the needed amenities such as heater, AC, iron & iron board etc which we needed for our work associated stay. What I liked the most was access to Netflix & Amazon Prime on the two TV screens. We could unwind after long day of work in leisurely fashion. The overall experience definitely made it feel like home away from home! :)

Laura and Raymond are so charming and very gracious hosts. I can't recommend the raisin French toast highly enough! Plus the location is so close to Woodley Park Metro the beautiful home is easy to access.

The whole entire location is absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed the fact that they have a piano in the common area. Our room was absolutely beautiful. The highlight for me was the bear claw bathtub.

This is our second year staying in this location and as we expected, Leslie and Jayson were friendly and accommodating (just like last year). The room/bathroom and house were nicely decorated and clean. It feels very comfortable there. We will definitely be booking our stay with them again next year.

Everything was just as advertised. Clean, comfy, good water pressure and hot water, nice clean bed linens and towels, and very quiet. Wonderful breakfasts and even homemade brownies! Lucia is very kind and thoughtful. Very responsive. I will definitely stay there again!

My wife and I stayed at Hydeaway for a weekend trip to DC (June 2025) and Gary was extremely accommodating. His house is beautiful and he was friendly and provided a tasty breakfast Saturday and Sunday. Gary was wonderful to talk to but also provided privacy if needed. The property is located in a safe, walkable location near many restaurants, shops, coffee and bars. No complaints whatsoever and we will stay at Hydeaway next time we are in DC!

This place is an absolute gem! A beautiful property that is close to town, but also away from it all. The accommodations are comfortable and the hosts are fantastic. Both nights that we were there, we had a great time visiting in the living room with the hosts and other guests. The breakfasts that were provided were better than most restaurants. I'm not joking. The food was wonderful! After visiting The Oaks, other Bed and Breakfast places pale in comparison. It's an excellent place.

Lipi was an amazing host. I booked this place for my dad and it was the perfect location. The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was spotless too. Lipi was very responsive and flexible to work with a last minute booking. She was warm and kind, and provided very clear instructions for the stay. I’d definitely recommend to choose her place, it’s very close to the IAD airport as well as many restaurants.

I knew the area and have family that stays in the same community so it was why I picked the place. There is free breakfast every morning and paid dinners. Zoya communicates very well and is a good person to have a conversation with. I would definitely stay again and I only had breakfast once while I was there and it was an amazing portion and delicious

It was great experience. I had to change my reservation a bit, but host was very accommodating. I highly recommend it.

I stayed with Sarah and Kader for 3 weeks and I am grateful for my stay. They are a lovely family of four. Sarah and Kader are kind, personable, welcoming and understanding hosts. Their hospitality went above and beyond. I have enjoyed a couple of family meals with them through the holiday. They have great stories about their experiences. The house is clean and cool. The location is great for metro use (16 min walk to Rockville metro) and is walking distance to nearby restaurants and shops. Gyms near by include Gold’s Gym, 15 min walk. Highly recommend.

The home is immaculate throughout. Our interactions with the host were pleasant, and we felt right at home. We stayed in room 1. It was beautiful and super clean. We slept great on the comfortable mattress and linens. The neighborhood is lovely. We walked to a corner coffee shop for breakfast one morning. We could not have enjoyed ourselves more.
