Holiday rentals with a kayak in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh

Just returned from a 3 night stay for a lady's getaway. Trudy's place is just perfect inside and out. We enjoyed the numerous deck spaces, the view by the water, the firepit outside and even the live leafs game outdoors on the projector screen set up. So many amenities which is fantastic not to have to bring. Tons of sleeping space, open kitchen area with very large dinner table to accommodate a gathering. This was our second year at Carrie and Dan's cottage and once again my family and I had a fantastic time. The house is perfectly situated on the river with a nice beach and it has all of the amenities needed. Dan communicated regularly and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. This is a beautiful property which anyone would have fun at.

absolutely loved our stay. incredibly peaceful and quiet. space was well kept, cute and comfortable, the stairs leading to the water and the view 10 out of 10. will definitely be coming back. mais the host was incredibly friendly, polite and willing to help us if we had any questions or concerns about the space. great experience all around. would recommend if visiting the south hamptons or sauble

Great experience staying at this cottage. It is by far one of the nicest places on the Huron Shores. The view is spectacular through the huge windows. The house was spotless and clean, and very well appointed. Looked like it was out of a model home. Well stocked with games and things to do. Clean kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms. We had a great and relaxing time. Would definitely recommend this cottage. We will absolutely be booking again.

This was a quiet, private, peaceful, and beautiful location. The house was nice with plenty of room for everyone. Being right on the water was what we wanted. The amenities were exactly what we wanted. The heated floors were awesome. Close to a town but still secluded. One thing to be aware of is having to rent linens at $20 per person which nobody expects to travel on vacation with bedsheets and thought it would be something included for the cost. Also, we were warned about the potholes in the road to the house but they were pretty drastic! All in all, would book again and hosts were very attentive.

We had an amazing stay at Mikes air bnb in Grand Bend for my Husbands 30th. The place was wonderful with lots of things to do and a lot of indoor and outdoor space. Mike was more than responsive to us and helped us with any questions we had and made sure everything was working and fixed for us. Him and his wife were super responsive and were able to accommodate us with early check in and late checkout because the place was available the night before and after. This was very kind of them and they did not have to do this. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. The most amazing thing about this air bnb is the location , it’s a minute walk from the main strip and had so many extra amenities such as kayaks. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting grand bend. The inside of the place is modern, new and had everything we needed and the outdoor space was equipped with bbqs, outdoor Furniture etc. we would definitely stay again.

Great little cabin for a family to stay in for sure. The cabin was nice and clean, it was comfy and cozy. A lot of activities around to do, and they made sure they had our door activities to do outside. The kids loved there were toys to play with. Great to know has a parent with young kids they have give you play pen, high chair etc to help so you didn't have to worry about packing it. Communication was fantastic. Happy to answer your questions and promptly. Amazing and kind host regarding bringing pets as well! Will honestly book to to go back!

Our group had an amazing time at Peter's place! The location is beautiful and the place was fully stocked with everything you need! We will definitely be booking again!!

This was the perfect get away for our family. The private fenced in lot had tons of space for our dog to play. The large mature trees felt like we were deep in the forest but the lake was only a few steps away! The beach was clean and private. The cottage was perfect! We felt right at home, with all the amenities that we needed. Moon was easy to deal with and very helpful. We would definately rent again, and recommend to friends and family!

This place was the most wonderful escape from the city, cozy and welcoming! Perfect trip for our toddler - safety outlets and even cute games to play inside and outdoor games as well! The perfect little home away from home, the paddle boats and fishing rods were the cherries on top ! Highly recommend

This stay is one of a kind. The cottage is clean, cozy, beautiful, well maintained and fit our family of 5 + our dog perfectly. The yard is a perfect size and the walk down to the beach is truly magical. The sunsets are… immaculate to say the least. This home is located perfectly in my opinion. It’s so peaceful, quiet and serene while downtown is only about a 5 min drive! I was having trouble accessing my email when we arrived so I couldn’t pull up the instructions on how to get into the house. I called Jennifer and she kindly helped me right away! We will be back in the future!! Thanks so much!

Everything about this place was just what we wanted - a beautiful, peaceful getaway where we could relax and unwind. The hosts’s instructions were very clear and the house’s amenities were plentiful! The bedding was super cozy and the hot tub nice and clean. Our dogs really enjoyed the spacious backyard and we loved how many outdoor seating options were available for us to enjoy the fresh lake air. This place is well worth the price and we can’t wait to book it again!

We had a fantastic experience at Coralie's Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. We especially loved the cozy living space and well-equipped kitchen, which made it feel like a home away from home. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient stay. We spent our family reunion here at Zac’s place for the Easter long weekend and had an amazing time. Our stay was better than expected with everything you can think of. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, bonfire, theatre room downstairs and the kids loved having the entire upstairs to themselves. The Alexa speaker all around the house was an added bonus. We cannot thank Zac & his family enough for the accommodation. We would love to come back & create more memories with our family in the near future.

First of all a big thanks to jaime for providing the best place for Christmas get together The cottage is well maintained and everything which is included in our stay exceeded the expectations. Quiet and private space with fully equipped kitchen, cozy couches to relax, comfortable beds and of course the best view of the lake. As we have enjoyed our stay for the Christmas holidays and will surely plan for the stay in summer to enjoy the beaches and decks. Again thanks to jaime for providing us the best Christmas gift

Aleks and her family were such great hosts! The space was everything we could have asked for. I booked the cottage for the weekend to celebrate my birthday with family and friends and it was perfect! A nice, private spot right on the water. The perfect spot to grab your coffee or tea and sip in silence while you enjoy the beautiful views and calming sounds of Lake Huron. It has all the amenities that you could need for a cottage weekend – barbecue, fire pit, outdoor picnic table, lounge chairs, a kayak and paddle board – honestly it was the best way to spend a weekend. The beach is definitely rocky, so as they mention, bring water shoes. The driveway is steep, so a bit daunting and intimidating, but we had zero issues getting in and out; just drive slow, and take your time. Aleks is SUPER responsive and one of the kindest hosts I’ve ever connected with. Thank you to your family for sharing your space with us! The best little Lake Huron getaway.

Jennifer’s Place Was the perfect location for a quite and relaxing getaway. The views and property are just what’s needed to get away from the stresses of life. No need to go anywhere else. A great stay and very pet Friendly.

The cabin had a great mixture of modern looks with some original rustic finishes. Williams Lake is my favourite Lake in Ontario. The waters are warm, clear and boat traffic isn’t overwhelming. The neighbours are close but are friendly and respectful. Maude is a great host, she was very friendly and responsive.

This cabin rental is beautiful. The river is so peaceful sounding and you have everything you need to relax and enjoy a quick little get away. We stayed as guests for a wedding near by and it accommodated me as a single well in the smaller cabin and my friend and her baby in the larger cabin. This was an excellent find! Scott was communicative and professional and everything was easy.

An absolute gem! We’re already making plans to go back. From the covered porch with a fire table to making fires on the private shore with stunning sunsets to exceptionally comfortable indoor living spaces, everything was perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough!
