We just stayed at Martine’s accommodation and It was perfect we got to enjoy the pool as weather was hot it’s very close to Tomar and also close enough to Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima We really enjoyed our stay and Martine was lovely very accommodating and making sure everything was ok for us I Highly recommended this accommodation

Staying in Tomar was an unforgettable experience. The house is within walking distance from the train station and right next to ancient walls that lead to a beautiful castle. The area is peaceful with no nearby houses, so it’s incredibly quiet day and night—at night, you hear nothing but birds and insects. The guest house has everything you need, with fast Wi-Fi, strong and hot water, and a well-equipped kitchen. Outside, you can relax in a hammock or enjoy the sun in a chair. The sunset is stunning, and the night sky is full of stars. The host lives in the main house at a respectful distance, offering full privacy but always ready to help if needed. They are truly kind, thoughtful, and respectful—anticipating guests’ needs and making sure your stay is perfect. I even got fresh lemons from the garden and made delicious lemonade. Thanks to the host’s warmth, I fell in love with Tomar and would return in a heartbeat.

We had a fantastic stay, we even booked a few more days. Upon arrival, Maria cleaned the pool completely for us and we received delicious homemade honey and fresh eggs. The location is quiet in the middle of nature. We went for a walk several times and went running a few times. The house stays cool even when it is hot (warmest day 35 degrees). Cottage has all the comforts and clean. There are several small villages in the area that are nice to visit.

I loved it, I went with my dog. Great for resting. You can take a walk around the space. I loved it.
