Cabin holiday rentals in Au Train Township

me and my boys had a fantastic experience staying at the cabin. Beautiful scenery, and lots of fresh air and quiet. we took some beautiful walks around and went fishing was a great stay.

We are so thankful we booked here. We had our wedding at Miner's beach and our original Airbnb cancelled a few days before the ceremony I found Matt's place and they allowed us to have our reception there. The house is beautiful, convenient location, and had everything we needed and more. They were very communicative and understanding. We can't wait to book with them again next year for our one year anniversary.

First off, this location is perfect-ya gotta drive for a while to get anywhere in the U.P., but there’s a great steakhouse, a casino, and the greatest beach on Superior (Face in the Rock), within a couple minutes drive of here! Munising and all its touristy goodness is less than 10min away, Marquette’s about 45min. 💃🏼 The house itself is great! It’s right off the highway, but it’s got some trees and it’s not SUPER high traffic, so it just feels convenient to be right there. They’ve got little lights around the roof that match some of the buildings in town and add the perfect vibe for all seasons-fun party feel in spring/summer, cozy cuteness in the fall, and obviously adorable at Christmas! 🎄 There’s a little patio with comfy chairs and a grill, great fire pit setup, and…the hot tub house! So cute, so relaxing, and such a great feature; we spent every night in it! 😌 Danielle was such a great host-very communicative and checked in on us a few times, definitely 5 stars! 🥰

Great place. Everything is as described. This was my first real cabin. Everything about the Airbnb was as expected. The only 2 negatives I have are that It’s loud on the bottom floor when people are walking around on 2nd floor. But again that’s probably more on me not being very familiar with cabins than anything else. The only other negative I can say is host has a VERY STRICT cancellation policy so be sure you and your group can make it before booking. Overall still a 5 star Airbnb.

We have stayed here a couple of times in the past years and every time we have not been disappointed. Kimberly is alway friendly and quick to get back to you if there is a question. Always clean and comfortable. Close to things we love to go to like Seney Wild Life Refuge, Pictured Rock, Lake shore walks and many others. Kris also does an amazing job of keeping the housekeeping done for everyone coming and going. I know we will return again when life gets to busy and we need a quiet, peaceful get away. Thanks for everything!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Heather's cabin is wonderful, with lots of space to spread out. The area was quiet, and the private road made walking the dogs very easy. Heather was very responsive to our questions, and offered great dinner recommendations. The cabin was close enough to the lake and tourist attractions, but tucked away enough so we could enjoy quiet evenings. It was too chilly to use the hot tub, but it was a bonus to know it was there. The bathroom, kitchen, and bedrooms were clean and had all the little touches that made this cabin feel like home. We will certainly book this cabin again when we are in the area. Highly recommend. Five Stars!

Phil is such a warm and welcoming host. The cabin was amazing! It was like going back in time! So glad we decided to stay here.

We so enjoyed this cabin! Finally an Airbnb with a comfortable bed! The pictures posted did not do this place justice. Nestled right into nature. We so enjoyed the view and all the windows from the living room. We got to see deer too! It was so nice to bring our dog and get away from it all. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. The whole cabin was thoughtfully put together. Thank you so much for hosting us at this gem!

This location was perfect for us. We felt so cozy and it just felt like home. The bonfires was amazing and perfect to make some yummy s’mores. The dvd player didn’t work for us but we brought an Xbox to play dvds and it worked perfectly. We truly enjoyed our stay and we hope to come back soon! Thank you Tina!

Beautiful cabin, has a river flowing right in front of the cabin, lots to do nearby, you can even rent a kayak from the hosts. Melissa was very kind and even opened up the shop after hours for us to get some supplies. Will definitely stay here again!

Walter and Steve were amazing hosts. From the moment we arrived, they were friendly, attentive, and respectful. They offered numerous recommendations for eating, shopping, site-seeing, and other activities. Each day our interactions and conversations were a joy. We will definitely come back the next time we are in the area.

We LOVE this rental. This was our fourth year here and it’s exactly what I’m looking for. Clean, very well stocked, the location is perfect and Cyndi does a fantastic job. Also, went out of her way to help arrange a couple nights in their camper area for a relative. Outstanding, Cyndi! You’re the best!

Such an amazing place.. my husband, son and I stayed here last summer while I was pregnant with my daughter. We just finished up our second trip, this time our daughter was 7 months old and her & my son had an absolute blast. It is so relaxing for parents, and so fun for kiddos. Our 6 year old son played outside from sun up to sun down, and then came inside to play with the legos and stuffies he found around the cabin. Never a minute of boredom, especially for the water babies. It’s also really nice having everything so close together. We could get both kiddos to bed and go to the sauna or sit around the fire while still being able to hear them. Probably the most peaceful vacation destination I’ve ever been to. We cry every time we leave. Cannot wait to come back again!! Also, the hosts..absolutely amazing! I was kind of worried about having hosts on site, because I really like my privacy but they’re so kind and helpful that it was actually nicer when they were there vs not

This space is beautiful. We rented it for a handful of guys to come up and fish for a long weekend. We were not disappointed with the accommodations or location. The instructions on how to get to the property are a little confusing once you leave the main road, but if you drive slow enough you can follow along. While it's a good sized home, there is a very intimate feel as everything is built around & connected to the main living space. If you go to bed before the rest of your crew, be prepared to hear their discussions if they're hanging out inside - the walls to the rooms offer privacy but don't deaden sound very well. Overall, a very nice place and the location on the river can't be beat!

What a peaceful, homey, quiet and beautiful stay this was for us! The cabin was clean and perfectly set up for our needs. Nancy was absolutely amazing to us even ensuring that we were going to stay warm with having Don turn the boiler heat back on for us on when the nights got chilly. I highly recommend this little cabin! We will definitely stay again when we get back to Michigan!!

A great weekend get away! If you’re looking for secluded, off the grid, and QUIET, this is your spot. You will be surrounded by nothing but the woods and yourself here. The cabin it self was very clean. The wood stove heats it up FAST so be aware to not over do it. Over all 10/10 would recommend and stay again. Ps it can be a bit confusing getting there but as long as you follow your location using the satellite option on iPhones you can find the cabin on the satellite view and follow the roads easily that way.

barbie was a great host. Her and her husband live in the house about 100' away, so they are available for quick response if you need anything. the cabin was clean and comfy. the view of the lake was amazing and barbie had kayaks and a row boat available for us to use. unfortunately, it was a bit chilly out during our work stay and didn't get to use the lake. getting to the cabin....check your messages from barbie! I didn't and just used our GPS with the address and it tried to take us on a closed off 2 track, then to E. Johnson lake rd. we did end up finding it though. later I realized Barbie sent clear directions to get there. totally our fault for not checking her messages. we would definitely stay with barbie again.

great location and good deal considering the location, few improvements i would suggest, installing a dishwasher, since there is propane gas heating on the property if two or more people are using water at the same time, you may run out of hot water pretty quickly, may need bigger water heater or an electric one if not installed already. i am splitting hair but will make this property even better than it already is. small suggestions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The lake was breathtakingly beautiful and incredibly peaceful. Everything was very clean!

We absolutely loved staying at Franklin’s place. It provided the peace and quiet that we desperately needed away from the city life. The cabin is absolutely adorable! We were very thankful for all of the fans. lol. My family had a blast on the small lake and made many memories catching frogs and snakes. Super cute and clean place to stay!

Sarah was a wonderful and very friendly host. She gave us recommendations to all of the local spots, food, and hiking! The neighbors around were friendly. The cabin was very clean and so cozy! Perfect if you’re wanting to visit Marquette and Munising. We will be coming back and staying again soon.
