Beachfront holiday rentals in Avola

Fantastic 3 weeks at Francesco`s beautiful apartment - superbly located on Isola Ortigia, an absoultely spectacular place. Lively even during winter and a number of sights (Neapolis is a must!). Went to the food market for fish and greens and made dinner at home every other day or so. Otherwise a number of very good restaurants within a 500m radius. Breakfast and lunches on the spectacular terrase, short/t-shirt at least half the days (when in the sun) even during winter. Francesco was very helpful when we needed some minor assistance with heating and dishwasher. The heating system was the best I have every come across in Italy - water heated radiators, not only the usual A/C. All in ll - spotless!

We stayed 6 nights at Casa Cambria. The house is very light and airy, instant holiday feeling! The view is just stunning, the sound of the waves very relaxing. You can acces the rocks and the sea trough a garden gate and take a swim (not for small children maybe because of the rocks). Everything we needed (and more) was present in the villa, everything was very clean when we arrived. The host Luciano was really friendly and easy to communicate with trough messages. He was always available and helped us find a doctor late at night. We would totally recommend Casa Cambria for a relaxing holiday!

We would 100% stay here again. Our hosts have thought of everything and the location was amazing. We especially loved all the recommendations for food restaurants left on the cards in the house.

My wife and I traveled to Ortigia with our daughter for her 25th birthday. This home checked all the boxes when we booked it. Location on the water, nice modern home, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. But, when we got there, it was so much more amazing than we could have imagined. The home is beautiful - on the water with a stunning rooftop deck and amazing sunsets. Its situated right in the heart of Ortigia next to Fountain Arethusa. Walk out the front door onto the cobble streets to restaurants, coffee bars, shops. Turn right and walk a few minutes to Castello Maniace. Turn left and walk a few minutes to the Piazza Duomo. Yolande was an amazing host. Communication was great. Answered all my questions and helped find us a driver for the week which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Our driver, Beppe, was born in Ortigia and taught us more about Sicily during our car rides than any guide we could have round. Grazie Yolande!

The place was really perfect. Very private with a large covered terrace and a spacious garden. The loft was clean, modern and very stylishly furnished. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

We had a lovely time staying here. We didn’t need to use the car as it was a 30 minute walk to the archeological park and a 30 minute walk to the castle on Ortygia. The flat was spotless and the view from the window amazing. Highly recommended

Everything as per the description but one point worth noting. The internet access was outstanding. Basically 800 mb down and 300 mb down. Absolutely fantastic connection is you're having a working vacation and need access to video meetings and large files.

This AirBNB is right in the heart of all that Ortigia has to offer, however it is tucked away one street from a main thoroughfare so you can be out and about in literally 60 seconds. Then, you have a beautiful sanctuary to come home to. The furnishing were great, and the architecture of the apartment made you feel like you were somewhere very special. The beds and pillows, all 4 of us agreed, were outstanding. Easy to fall a sleep, and wake up rested. There is a living room and eating area off the kitchen, with gave us plenty of space to stretch out some everyone could get alone time as needed (we love each other, but traveling for 2 weeks internationally... you know how it is). Outside the door is a courtyard with fragrant climbing flowers and palm trees. All the conveniences you need -- kitchen appliances, washer, coffee maker (although you'll want to grab a cappuccino and sit at a nearby cafe). When we come back to Ortigia, we're staying here.

Great house, absolutely faultless. Very private and the pool is bigger than the photos.

We stayed for 5 nights and had an amazing experience. The house was very clean, spacious and well equipped. The outdoors are unmatchable, great garden where you can hear the ocean right from the balcony. The host was very friendly and we were positively suprised by her warm welcome, where she organized snacks for our arrival and full breakfast groceries.

When we arrived Angelo was there to meet us, and surprised us with a welcoming bottle of Prosecco and chocolate. Angelo showed us around and gave us advice and information about the area. The villa was perfect, well equipped with plenty of cutlery and china even a small selection of spices, washing tablets and also dishwasher tablets. The local super market is a short walk away as is the local market and beach. We walked to the square every evening , lots of locals meeting up making a lovely atmosphere, there are lots of restaurants and friendly bars. We had a few question during the few days we were staying at the villa and Angelo answer immediately. The pool area is beautiful and well kept with plenty of beds, chairs and a couple of coffee tables too. Although we didn’t use the BBQ we did eat breakfast and lunch outside on the large table. The beds were very comfortable. All in all Angelo was an amazing host and I would have no problem recommending Villa Sara to friends a

One of the nicest locations i have stayed in. The sea access, terrace and views could not be improved they are stunning. Siracusa itself also stunning. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We loved staying with Giovanni and family whom were really friendly and helpful . The house is beautifully set above a beach with its own access . Our room was lovely with good facilities. We have spent hours over the last few days relaxing swimming and snorkelling in amazing waters . The house is in good proximity to surrounding areas of interest with a car .

We absolutely loved Alfredo’s place. Beautiful, immaculately clean, comfy bed and amazing shower. Loved the little deck sitting out area for evenings and pool to cool off. Fabulous Airbnb and Alfredo was so lovely and friendly and helpful. Great 5 days in lovely Fontane Bianchi.

thanks Saro for hosting us. we had a great week at your beautiful home. House was clean and with everything equiped we needed. 5 big beautiful bed rooms, every room with an own bath. the garden is nice and we enjoyed the pool very much (can recommend the paid heating especially with children). the beach nearby (100m) is also very beautiful and we loved the smooth walk into the water and the dunes. just as an information: there is no marker or restaurants in walking distance. but some good restaurants in 5 min distance by car, and bigger super markets in 10 min distance.

We had a great time staying at Antonio and his family's place! Unfortunately, our outbound flight was delayed for 3 hours and Antonio checked in with us at 2 o'clock at night and was more than friendly. The place is very well maintained, there was even water, everything for an Italian breakfast and pasta for cooking. The garden area is well maintained and the pool very pleasant. It is definitely recommended to have a car, then the beautiful old town of Syracuse can be reached in about 15 minutes and you are on the very beautiful beach in less than 5 minutes. We would definitely recommend the place in Arenella!

Everything was perfect. Vincenzo was very patient when we had the troubles. offered help immediately and I was so grateful for that. The apartment was just perfect. My husband and I had a great time there.

We felt at home the minute the door opened, this home worked extremely well for our family of 5 (2 parents and 3 college aged kids) with comfortable furnishings and excellent location. Perfect!

What a beautiful home! We loved being walking distance from Avola’s main square while also having easy parking access right at home, an uncommon luxury at some of our other stops in Sicily. Marcella was terrific from the beginning, giving us a tour of the place with her daughter and providing wonderful suggestions. Cavagrande was stunning, and we absolutely loved it! We both run, so we enjoyed running along the promenade overlooking the sea in the morning. The house was equipped with everything we needed for laundry, had shampoo and conditioner, provided water, and even had some past in the cabinet that we enjoyed cooking on an evening at home. The home was also a terrific home for a day trip to Modica and Ragusa and is close enough to go to Noto even if you just want to go for a morning or a quick dinner. We had a terrific visit, thank you Marcella!

We had a lovely stay with our 9 month old baby. It is an apartment with garden and we liked that very much. The contact with Davide went well. The kettle didn't work, and he brought a new one right away. The location is a bit further walk from the center but close to two beautiful beaches and a few bars/restaurants. We were unlucky that the house opposite us was being restored. Of course, the owners can't do anything about this. Davide even brought cannoli for the inconvenience, very thoughtful! It is also very nice that you can park at the apartment. What we liked less was the lack of a coffee maker (though in the photo) and the pillows are very hard. But that is of course personal taste. We had a very nice stay and would definitely recommend the location!

the location is exceptional here - we walked 50m to the eastern side of the island to swim every morning, and were then able to enjoy the afternoon sun and sunset from the balcony in the afternoons. the apartment itself is nice but a little dated in decor and could have been more stocked. we would have liked to cook, for example, but there was nothing at all -- oil, salt, etc. neither was there washing machine detergent. you're paying for the location and access, however, and on that front it was perfect. check-in was easy, the pin and lockbox made it simpler to leave a key when exploring and swimming, and the host was very helpful and kind. we'd come back!

Francesca has thought of everything you might need. Great responsive host. Great location above Ortigia market, easy to get restaurants and anywhere around the area. Vibrant and joyful sounds at night from restaurants below, everyone having a good time.

We had a good stay at this clean and private place. We had to contact the host several times during our stay due to late check in, accidentally unpaid motorway toll etc. Giuseppe responded promptly and went extra mile to help. Many thanks!

The garden is beautiful, secluded and a small oasis of green. Lots of different varieties of plants and well established trees. The small place is convenient and inside a natural reserve. A great stay.
