Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Avola

Highly recommended, If you like space, freedom, a friendly host and privacy. This was the perfect base for us to then visit the beautiful beaches and discover the area. Less than 10/12 min from the beach and return to a detached house with great views. We stayed here in mid-June. In terms of temperature, it was just possible to do this at night. We as Dutch people might have found it too hot in August. All in all a great place that is worth more than your money. 10/10!

The flat is connected to main house but it has its own entry. We spent there only one night, but flat was comfy and clean. It has an interesting design but in good way. We had inside parking. The owners are very kind.

A truly amazing place located by the best view of the Ibla. The hammock in the courtyard was perfect. Giancarlo and Alex were very responsive and great hosts. Thank you for an unforgettable stay in Ragusa.

Truly special. This cavernous little house dug into the cliff amongst the rabbit warren old town of Modica is one of a kind. The photos do not prepare you for the stunning view over the old town, burrowed into the valley below. The house itself is clean, functional and has what you need for a few days stay. Despite the raging heat outside, it stays cool throughout the day. Would absolutely recommend staying here for a memorable experience. Our check in/out was easy and hospitable, leaving nothing wanting.

Silvia was an excellent host, always responsive and very helpful. We were able to find the villa with her instructions and she was there to greet us and say goodbye when we left. The villa was spotless and we loved the outdoor space with all its different seating areas and bbq. The house was well equipped with thoughtful touches. There were lots of little extras for our stay including clean towels, jams, treats and Prosecco. A great base for exploring Sicily’s south east. Highly recommend this stay.

A lovely, contemporary, comfortable home with great showers and comfortable beds. Our only issue was the distance from Noto, on a challenging road, which was much further than expected. Carlo and Stella went out of their way to respond to our needs.

Villa Sorelle was a wonderful stay! It does not have close neighbors, so was peaceful and private, but also is only a short drive into Pozzallo which is a lovely sea front town. The pictures accurately show it, nicely updated, clean, and with nice pillows and cushions throughout. The host also arranged a lovely crib and high chair for us. Highly recommend!

From start to finish, our experience was fantastic. Oriana is an absolutely wonderful host. She is extremely welcoming and helpful - nothing is too much. Oriana greeted us personally upon arrival and showed us around and how a few things worked. She then came back later on with fresh pizza dough - which she went out of her way to source on an Italian Bank Holiday, when most places were closed. She then stayed and helped make the pizza bases, whilst her husband was outside showing other members of our group how to use the outdoor pizza oven. This was far beyond what we’d ever expect of any Airbnb host. Incredible hospitality. The home itself was beautiful. It was so well equipped and absolutely spotlessly clean. It’s also bigger than pictures suggest. The outdoor area is spotless again. I cannot recommend this property, and especially its host, highly enough. I could say so much more but for the character limit! Absolutely amazing stay and we will definitely visit again.

We stayed at Villadamuri for 10 days in June with a group of friends. The house is in a unique location on the beautiful and private Amber Beach, where the water is warmer than on other beaches. The house is perfect for a group of friends and offers all the comforts of a vacation home. A special thanks to the owners Viviana and Orazio, always ready to satisfy every need. Giuliana was a wonderful host – warm, welcoming, and always discreet. Her beautiful Shanti is a truly special place: the house is stunning, peaceful, and the pool adds a magical touch. We felt at home from the very first moment. Giuliana was always available with helpful suggestions and made our stay in Sicily even more enjoyable. Her kindness and care made a real difference. This has been a holiday we will always remember with joy. Thank you, Giuliana, from all of us – we hope to return soon to this little oasis of peace.

The whole team were really helpful and responsive. The villa and especially the garden are fantastic, as is the town of Scicli. The sound proofing between the two bedrooms isn’t good which is just something to be aware of if you value your privacy. Overall I would definitely recommend this villa!

We (6 adults, one toddler) had a fantastic time at the villa! It is very charming, with the perfect blend of historic character and modern amenities. It has everything you need for a great stay. The location is very peaceful and yet well connected. A large store selling groceries and other stuff you may need is a few minutes drive away, and there are restaurants and markets nearby in Pozzalo. We mostly cooked dinner at home since we loved eating outside on the veranda. We also enjoyed the infinity pool. The villa serves as an excellent base for day trips to places such as Siracusa, Modica, Villa Romana del Casale, Marzamemi, and Ragusa. William and Antonella are the most welcoming hosts, and they shared lots of great suggestions for things to do in the area. It was a pleasure meeting them, and we hope to visit again!

A beautiful location- wonderful gardens overlooking the sea and totally private. Fantastic. Well provided house with lots of added touches. Great communication with the host.

My wife and I traveled to Ortigia with our daughter for her 25th birthday. This home checked all the boxes when we booked it. Location on the water, nice modern home, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. But, when we got there, it was so much more amazing than we could have imagined. The home is beautiful - on the water with a stunning rooftop deck and amazing sunsets. Its situated right in the heart of Ortigia next to Fountain Arethusa. Walk out the front door onto the cobble streets to restaurants, coffee bars, shops. Turn right and walk a few minutes to Castello Maniace. Turn left and walk a few minutes to the Piazza Duomo. Yolande was an amazing host. Communication was great. Answered all my questions and helped find us a driver for the week which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Our driver, Beppe, was born in Ortigia and taught us more about Sicily during our car rides than any guide we could have round. Grazie Yolande!

Fantastic place to stay—clean, newly renovated, and equipped with everything you need. The location is close to historical cities and beautiful beaches. Having a car definitely adds to the convenience.

We had a great time in our apartment. Parking below & very quiet despite being in the middle of the city, perfect simple accommodation to stay overnight & enjoy. We loved the bikes that we got to borrow for free. The apartment had most things, the only thing we missed in the kitchen was a proper knife as there was none, which makes it difficult to cook something that needs a knife to cut. But otherwise the location, the welcome and the apartment were super! :)

Giorgia’s home was beautiful. Everything was as it was in photos. We had a lovely stay and our hosts were extremely helpful in every way!

Everything as per the description but one point worth noting. The internet access was outstanding. Basically 800 mb down and 300 mb down. Absolutely fantastic connection is you're having a working vacation and need access to video meetings and large files.

A BEAUTIFUL AND MEMORABLE STAY! My friend and I couldn’t recommend Anna’s place enough! From the moment Anna greeted us on arrival until we left she was such a warm, welcoming and friendly host. The living area in the historic farmhouse building is so rustic and interesting and it has been thoughtfully decorated with love and an appreciation for the beautiful surroundings. And speaking of the setting!…The view across the valley is beautiful and the plants, trees and landscaping made our stay feel so special. This is a real escape into nature. Just sit and watch the sunset with a glass of local wine and a book! One highlight was absolutely the Sicilian pasta making experience. Anna was so knowledgeable about the gastronomic history of the region, as well as the pasta making itself of course! We had local cheeses and honey from the property too! I would encourge anyone visiting to take part in these unique experiences. We would love to visit again! X
