The newly renovated two-room apartment is located in the Alpenhotel Dachstein complex above the Alpine town Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstattsee in the beautiful Salzkammergut. Alpenhotel Dachstein is located just 12 km from the historic town of Hallstatt, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The neolithic region of Salzkammergut offers a wealth of opportunities for families such as winter sports, cycling trails winding over clear lakes and of course great cuisine. This is an entire apartment with a great view to the Gastein valley! The apartment has one separate bedroom with a double bed; a charming living room with a dining table in front of the big window. There is a pull-out sofa placed in the living room, suitable for 2 persons as well. The kitchen is newly renovated and has cooking basic available for guest (e.g. coffee to start mornings). There is a shower available in the bathroom with a washing machine and one toilet separately.

Only 10 km away from the World Heritage Site Hallstatt and only 14 km from the Krippenstein with the Five Fingers. Only 2 km to the picturesque Hallstättersee and all destinations can be easily reached by bus or train. Bus stop and train station are within walking distance. Please note: The tourist flat rate of €3 per person per night is collected on site!

The apartment is located in the district of Schüttdorf/Zell am See in a quiet side street. A private parking space is right in front of the entrance. The entire living unit is on the ground floor, and a private front garden invites you to relax outdoors. In the immediate vicinity are supermarkets, restaurants, bars, ATM, bus station. Free ski bus to Kaprun is only 300 meters away. The new Areitbahn gondola with ski school is only 700 m away and is within walking distance.

The approx. 140 m2, cozy apartment is located in a typical, traditional Gasteiner Haus, built in 1929. From the apartment you can look out on the sensational backdrop of Bad Gastein, Gamskarkogl and the Gasteinertal. It is close to the Kaiser Wilhelm Promenade and is a great starting point for HIKES, thermal baths, GOLFING, HORSEBACK RIDING and SCHI excursions. It is about 10 minutes walk from the waterfall and center. My family loves this place of specialness.

Apartment "Hoamatgfühl"

Our apartment is built in 2016 and we loved it to design the rooms, the equipment and the decoration. It´s based on the ground floor of our house and has an seperate entrance, an extra room for skies/hiking shoes, an extra entrance and a directly conecting to the terasse and the garden. The appartement is fully equipped and the overview to the beautiful mountains around you can enjoy sitting on the couch :) Just try and test the "homy" feeling in our house...

Die Wohnung befindet sich im Zentrum von Obertraun in unmittelbarer Nähe zum malerischen Hallstättersee sowie dem Einstieg in das Dachstein-Krippenstein Skigebiet und ist auch bequem per Bahn erreichbar.

Kick back and relax in this quiet, stylish space. Perfect starting point for hiking, cycling, ski tours or simply to relax in the Berchtesgaden Alps or at the Königssee. You can do your grocery shopping in the small supermarket around the corner. The house has its own free parking space. A bus stop for driving to the city center or Berchtesgaden train station is also nearby.

Unfortunately, there is no fixed parking space at the house - a parking space in the public garage can be rented for €15/24 hours, as of: April 2025.
