Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Badin Lake

Jaime's cute house was the perfect place for our stay on Badin Lake. Very quiet and peaceful. The house was very clean and comfortable. Really like the covered parking too since it rained a lot during our stay. It was nice to be able to unload the car without getting too soaking wet!

We had a fun time and wished we could stay longer. Greg’s home is really clean and has fun games and a well-stocked kitchen. We would love to come again.

This is our 3rd time staying at High Rock Lake, we’ve bounced around and this was one of the best spots to stay! First we were stoked about an early check in, that was 1 extra hour we got to spend on vacation!! The house was very clean and was well put together. It came with lots of special touches like a dog kennel, bowls and a mat; separate towels for the lake, and black washcloths for make up’d faces. The screened in porch was our favorite spot and we spent a lot of time there! The kitchen was stocked with all of the appliances you could possibly want and plenty of cookware. We had a small issue upon arrival (out of everyone’s control) and our hosts were quick to respond and resolve and it was much appreciated! We really enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock - it was nice there were so many chairs and it made it easy to enjoy multiple spaces. If you’re looking for a great getaway, this is the spot!

Excellent stay, house was extremely clean and beautifully furnished. Conveniently located near downtown Concord and the wedding venue Hotel Concord. Tom was very friendly and super responsive.

Adorable home with a beautiful view of the lake. The screen porch was lovely and where we spent most of our time at the house. We grilled two of the three evenings and went into nearby Albemarle one night for dinner. Neighborhood is quiet and neighbors were very nice. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Please keep in mind, if you are bringing a boat, make sure you bring a 4-wheel drive vehicle as the driveway is very steep, and we had to park in the gravel at the top of the hill.

My friends and I had a great stay, and will certainly be back. Had a wonderful time in the area & the house was just as described (and even more beautiful than the pictures) Gladis was a great host and her home made our trip even better. I recommend staying here 💝

Beautiful home , great and spacious, would definitely stay again

Stayed here for my bachelor trip, it fit all 8 of us very comfortably. The host was responsive and checked in the make sure we were doing good and everything was in order. Uber’s didn’t have issues finding us and the privacy was perfect for grilling out and back and cutting up by the fire pit.

Very clean peaceful place with easy access. Plenty of basic supplies. Dawn is a very responsive hostess. Our second time staying here.

We stayed here for a youth state shooting tournament . The boys wanted to fish more than go to the tournament! It’s a safe community with a pond in the back and close access to the lake! We enjoyed it!

Jim is one of the most wonderful hosts we have ever had. He was friendly and responsive and made sure that we had everything we could have possibly needed. His place was exactly as described, but the surroundings and peacefulness were even more than we expected. We enjoyed the pool and the bed is super comfortable! We will definitely plan to stay with Jim again when we are in the area.

I had a wonderful stay at Ron’s place! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was perfect and very welcoming. Highly recommend and would love to stay again!

We stayed at Greg and Tammy’s place while in town for our daughter’s graduation from Wake Forest. It was the perfect place to unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the graduation activities. We fished in the pond, swam in the pool, walked through the garden, and visited the animals in the barn. Greg brought us fresh eggs and fresh broccoli, both of which were delicious. Honestly one of the best AirBNB experiences we have ever had. I give it five stars because it won’t allow me to give it 6. If we are back in town, we will definitely revisit.

Loved our stay! The community is so friendly we took our boys fishing and we're given so many tips and help! The beach was perfect and golf cart was great for motoring around. We will be back!

Our stay was the perfect space for us to rest and relax while we were visiting our family. Despite being June the weather was a little too chilly to enjoy swimming. My favorite morning and evening spot was in the porch swing by the pool. There are friendly hosts and then there are Jill and her family. They were so gracious and made sure we had everything we needed. Quick to answer any questions but ensured we had our privacy too. We have never enjoyed our hosts as much as the brief time we spent chatting with Jill and her husband. There are lots of books, board games, and little amenities like a towel warmer in the bathroom. We had coffee for our mornings and bottled water already in the refrigerator when we arrived- nice after a long drive. We were gone most of the day but arriving at night and having the pool area lit up was so inviting. When we find our way back to the area we hope to find her property available so we can stay again.

Stacia’s place was exactly as listed and better. Great info from her when asked and plenty of reminders and extras onsite to get the most from the resort! Stacia was extremely responsive to us! Her place was better than expected. My family and I were coming from a last minute change at an another property we intend to stay at in this resort. The other place was not as listed, with many problems…. Luckily the stay was saved by and ended up being a great trip. Thank you Stacia!

Terra was super responsive, but we really didn’t need much, everything was set up wonderfully. Being able to rent the water toys was such an amazing addition. We will definitely stay here again when we have another family reunion!

We had a wonderful time there and the house is beautiful and it is very peaceful. I wish we had better luck fishing as the water is very low for about 100 ft out or so. But overall the stay was wonderful and the host is amazing and very proactive and easy to communicate with. We will be back later on in the year for sure.

This little home is a gem! It’s a perfect getaway secluded in the beautiful NC wilderness. The outdoor area is great to drink coffee and listen to the birds or build a fire at night, the studio had everything we needed and was very cute. The area is decorated to be so whimsical and fun, and when you meet Cate it all makes sense! Cate is the most wonderful host in all ways imaginable. She was more than happy to help us with whatever we needed and was very generous. Cate’s care and intention for her sanctuary shines through her actions and her delicious food. We came to visit family and stay in a secluded air bnb, but we left with an experience, fellowship and memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you Cate!

This was one of the most fun camping trips i have done with my teen son! Jason was super flexible and helped me make this trip come true! I highly recommend his "Glamping" to those who want to explore nature but with a big more comfort!

We had such a wonderful time at Linda’s home! The spot couldn’t be more beautiful, we used the kayaks multiple times and my dog was very comfortable in her home. It’s well equipped with everything you could need to cook a meal, and the beds were all very comfortable. Would love to come back!

If you’re thinking about this place, do it! The photos don’t do it justice in terms of size and beauty. Beautiful home and beautiful, peaceful, private surroundings. Lincoln was perfect and responded in a timely manner. He was helpful, accommodating, and proactive. This was the perfect place to celebrate the life of my Dad, whom I recently lost. He would have loved it. Thank you so much for having us, Lincoln! 10/10 across the board!

I thought this was a very nice home, right on the lake, with great views. We appreciated the paddle boards and kayaks. We loved having the pool table and the retro video games as well. The only thing that I will say is a word of caution to people who are sensitive to air fresheners and scents - the house had a lot of scents going on (scented candles in almost all rooms, plugin oil air fresheners upstairs and downstairs, air fresheners in other rooms, and a few cans of spray around the house). It was completely overwhelming. We had to cover the candles, unplug the oil, and close the air fresheners. The house didn't have any kind of bad smell at all - so they are not needed.

Terry’s place was great. The house is beautiful and the view was spectacular. Terry is extremely kind and hospitable. We made great family memories cooking out, swimming off the dock, playing corn hole and enjoying each other’s company. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
