Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Balatonkenese

We got to know Judit and Sandor as wonderful hosts. Communication was always warm, so the Google translation didn't bother us. In addition to the apartment furnished with a lot of love for detail, we were spoiled with delicacies. Likewise, a bottle of wine and water was available for us as a gift. The apartment had air conditioning that we could use for a fee and that also sweetened the hot days for us. The apartment was just steps from the Balaton swimming beach. There was a supermarket and restaurants in the village. Since we were there in the off-season, the beach was free of charge. In our opinion, a trip to the south beach by ferry and the lake cave in Tapolca are highly recommended. We express an unreserved recommendation for our warm hosts and thank you for the pleasant stay. The listing is as described, it's a good idea to read the details because they have important information. The house is amazing, incredibly cozy. You really need to take care of the head. :) The street is tidy and quiet. The only negative thing we encountered is the neighbor in the back, where if there's a party (we ran into the morning bloomer), you can't sleep in the loft from the noise. The room downstairs and the couch were a great place for us, and it was quiet. The playroom deserves a huge plus point. We had a great time!

It was a perfect place for a cheerful gathering, a birthday celebration. The well-equipped kitchen has a hàla, and we were able to cook. The house is well-maintained. The pool and hot tub are clean. We spent most of the time on the terrace and in the garden. The terrace and the kitchen has a beautiful kilàtàs for the surrounding area. I can only recommend it!

Everything you need is in the house, even more spacious than in the pictures. Despite the spring weather, we caught an unexpected cold, thanks to the various heating options, it was still very comfortable.:) the view is beautiful and the access to the house is provided on good quality roads. I had a great stay at Andrea's apartment. It was comfortable, recently updated, clean, air-conditioned, and the surroundings were beautiful. It's not the most accessible on foot, but there was very safe parking, and self-check in was easy. Andrea showed me around her garden, I got to meet her cat Luna, and she even offered me cherries from a tree in her yard! Andrea was so kind, and I felt right at home. Would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous few days right on the water in beautiful Balaton. Very comfortable house and garden right on the lake. We enjoyed wading out in the lake with our child. The lake is very shallow (around 3ft) for over 100 meters so you can walk out very far on the mud/sand. I would definitely recommend renting/bringing Stand Up Paddle Boards or an inflatable boat so that you can get out to where the lake is deeper to swim. At the moment, these are not provided by the host. There had been a recent invasion of buzzing non-biting midges (Chironomidae/greenish insects) along the shores of Lake Balaton but they only really came out just after sunset and were fascinating to watch. Incredibly relaxing to wake up and have coffee on the dock. 5 star stay!

We felt completely comfortable in the Füge-Vendégház. The location and the panorama inspired us. The house is very cozy and spacious. The terrace offers both sunny and shady spots – ideal for relaxing. The garden is wonderfully green, with many trees and plants. The pool is sufficiently large and was always very clean. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed linen pleasant and beautiful, and the beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms were also clean and well usable. The location is excellent: several wine terraces are nearby and can also be reached on foot. Lake Balaton (Alsóörs beach) is only about five minutes away by car. The view from the upper terrace to the lake is particularly beautiful in the evening. The hostess and the host were very friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would love to come back anytime!

We had an unforgettable 3-night stay at Uncle Paul’s place in Balatonfüred. It truly felt like visiting family. Uncle Paul speaks excellent English and is incredibly knowledgeable, not just about wine, but also about local history, plants, and culture. He welcomed us with such kindness: picking us up from the train station (even with our two huge suitcases!), treating us to wine tasting while sharing his deep knowledge of Hungarian wines - how they’re made, where they come from, and what goes into them. He also generously offered us homemade Hungarian fish soup, fresh fruits and nuts from his garden, and even took time to drive us to beautiful Tihany. Uncle Paul has travelled to many countries and shared fascinating stories that kept us smiling and laughing. We drank together, sang together, danced together, and had the most wonderful holiday. Three nights were far too short, we left with full hearts and lovely memories. Thank you, Uncle Paul!

Everything went well during the reservation, Krisztina contacted me quickly, and we were able to take care of the accommodation in a flexible and efficient manner. The apartment and the garden are very welcoming, all our requests have been fulfilled.

The host was an excelent english speaker and a very nice person - she even gave us some tomatoes from her beautiful garden, she left us wine, water and chocolate. The house was in a very quiet neighborhood and 5 minutes away on foot from a public free beach. We loved the garden!

We enjoyed staying with Eva very much. The apartment is very cozy and it has everything you need. A highlight was the fireplace in the garden. The kids were happy about the toys in the apartment. We were able to do in the area.

Brigitta was kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with. The location of the apartment is excellent, the neighborhood is quiet and tidy. Lake Balaton beach, shops and restaurants are a 15-minute walk away. The apartment is clean and accurate to the pictures.

Our stay with Bernd & Ingrid was beautiful and a dream for children! It is a quiet place, with many employment opportunities for all ages. Lake Balaton is not very far away and there are beautiful excursion destinations nearby. Bernd & Ingrid were very friendly and always available for questions, etc. Absolutely recommended for families with children. We will be happy to come back! :)

We loved it. Beautiful, clean house. Dora was very kind, she gave us eggs from her own hens. I highly recommend the place and the host.

This space had a quaint cottage feel in a quiet, safe, and scenic environment. Close to the lake and popular areas with reasonable street parking.

Denes was very helpful, the place was exactly how it was described,clean and had most supplies. We enjoyed staying here ,and would definitely come again.

We spent a long weekend here with friends with small children, and I can only highlight positives about Csöppház. The hosts are very attentive and have made the house with good taste and apparently a lot of care. The spaces are nice and immaculately clean, the furniture is comfortable, the garden has a night earrings and crickets, and the equipment for the kids is great. There's a lot to see in the area, but you really don't want to leave the house:)

We had a great stay m in August at this beautiful house, very precisciously for this hot period equipped with air condition. Enough space for 6 people and everything clean. Easy and flexible checkin. Walking distance to a great gelateria, some restaurants and the beach / promenade and train station.

The house was completely as described in the description and photos. Just an awesome view from the terrace on the 1st and 2nd floors. Quiet, birds singing, well-maintained grounds - all you need for a good holiday. The house had absolutely everything needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you very much to the host, everything is very comfortable and beautiful, we had a very good rest! Definitely recommend it!

A wonderful vacation home with a well-equipped kitchen and nicely renovated interiors. We spent a super seven years here, Ákos is a very kind and helpful host, we were able to communicate easily. We would love to come back here again!

We enjoyed our vacation here; the garden is nice and big, and it was nice to sit out in the morning or after a bath in the porch swing or in the rocking chair. We were particularly happy with the ping pong table because we played a lot. We could get to the beach easily and quickly with the scooter, but there are even bicycles if someone wants to use them. The house was clean and tidy (kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms), and there were all the necessary tools for cooking. Balaton is also a short walk distance from the house. We'd love to go again!

A unique place to stay! We loved every single part of it. The place is very nicely decorated and has an amazing, Relaxing atmosphere, including the veranda. We’ve made several walks to the lake and villages in the neighbourhood. We would definitely visit again!
