Holiday rentals with a patio in Balboa Island

This was a perfect location for us as we helped move our daughter out of UCI. We loved being able to walk to yummy eats at diamond jamboree and run along the path. The place itself is clean and spacious and just as described. We would not hesitate to stay here again on our future visits. Thanks again!

Great spot with so many restaurants and coffee spots and the beach within walking distance. The place is cozy and bright — a delightful beach-town studio. There’s definitely some traffic noise (as described) but the white noise machine was perfect at night and we slept soundly. Definitely recommend!

We only stayed here one night to attend a graduation, but we absolutely loved the place. The pictures are great, but you won't really get just how charming the place is till you're there. It was plenty of space for 3 of us. Loved the little balcony and the writing/reading corner. We all slept great on the 3 beds: the beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet, even with the windows open overnight. We were there on a Wed night and we always found a parking spot close to the home along the street. We didn't cook there but it looked like everything you'd need was there. We enjoyed walking 5 minutes to breakfast at Park Pantry and being so close to everything we needed to access. Even with the hosts living in the downstairs home, we never heard them and our upstairs home was quiet and private. Pamela was always quick to respond and was accommodating of our schedule. We'd stay here again and highly recommend.

Will was a very responsive host and had great recommendations for the area. Just be aware that since this is an attached space to the next-door neighbors, the sound from upstairs is a bit prominent like footsteps/loud sound. Couple of knick knacks like the shower door and fridge door were to be fixed, but that was acknowledged to be repaired. Otherwise, I would love to stay here again.

We loved staying here! The place was beautiful and perfect for our little family! Kim was super easy to communicate with and very proactive in her responses! We would love to stay again when back in Long Beach!

Really enjoyed this space! The apartment is in a really and old-timey feeling/historic building which was a surprise but definitely made it unique! Beautiful views and close to everything in Long Beach. Parking is free and close but about a 5 minute walk.

This was one of the best AirBnB’s we have stayed at. It was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. My husband loved the large box of condiment packets so we didn’t need to buy any. Keurig with lots of flavors was also nice so we didn’t have to buy coffee. The beds were very comfortable and had the most comfortable sheets. Space is a little tight, but it was just fine for what we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

My daughter got married at Casa Romantica and this was a perfect location. It is also walking distance to Avenida Cabrillo and Avenida del Mar where there is a variety of shops and restaurants. The beach is also close, about 1/2 a mile or so, if you are in the mood to relax to the sound of the waves. I was very pleased with my stay. Thank you.

Travis & Trisha were very accommodating and their place was absolutely beautiful! The pool was perfect for our getaway and the beds were extremely comfortable! I would definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect place to stay with our Star Wars obsessed kids. They loved all of the memorabilia, the arcade, and the backyard! As adults, we appreciated the thoughtfulness of what was stocked in the house and how easy everything was to operate thanks to clear and easy to find directions. We are looking for an excuse to book again!

We were looking for a place that we could rest and relax for a few days. We were not looking for places to visit or a lot of activities, even though this property is located where you have those things to choose from. This property fit our needs perfectly. Coffee in the morning sitting outside in the beautifully decorated outdoor space, including a peaceful water feature was so nice. The home is beautiful and there wasn’t a single thing we wanted that wasn’t provided. Communications were very timely and they genuinely wanted you to have everything you needed to have a wonderful stay. I can’t imagine anyone not being 100% happy with this property and the host. We would love to return in the future.

Wonderful property as described with even better hosts! Richard was communicative leading up to our stay and made it an easy check in when meeting us on the property. Lots of provided amenities for the kids and can’t beat the location. Would highly recommend and will visit again soon!

Jerry's house is in a wonderful location and very spacious. Everything was well-equipped and well-maintained, and our friends really loved staying there. Jerry was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. If I visit the area again, I would definitely love to stay at his place again.

Seriously....just rent it is worth every cent. I am an exhausted 1st responder and booked this getaway at the last moment. I don't know if it's the beautiful furnishings, the incredible view, the huge golf cart to use during your stay, or the huge selection of coffee pods!!!! I will be back for sure and these incredible hosts are wonderful 💖

Denney was very helpful, very responsive and a pleasure to work with. His place is super clean with lots of linens available, all of the amenities such as dishes, silverware, pots & pans and furninshings were top notch. I have stayed in quite a few places through Airbnb and the towels and linens at Denney's were exceptional, all new, plentiful and matching, not just a jumble of leftovers from the back of someone's linen closet. Although an older unit, it was completely updated and the furniture and decor were very nice and uncluttered. It was a very nice condo to stay in and close to everything and place we needed to be during our stay.

Jeffrey’s home was fantastic and he was extremely responsive! We will definitely rent with him again if we are ever back in the area.

We stayed here with two children to relax after a couple of days at Disneyland. The place had everything we needed to do just that. You could tell a lot of thought has gone into making the condo cozy, clean, and comfortable - a home away from home. I’ve never met an Airbnb host, but we were lucky to meet Shawn and Megan and they were extremely pleasant and hospitable, helping us with local recommendations. Our learning was that with small children, we would rent a vehicle next time for getting around as the location is definitely walkable/bikeable to Main Street, but the beach is about a mile down, and well, our kids were tired from Disneyland! There are also things to do across the area that are more driving distance. All in all, a lovely location for our stay and we look forward to visiting again some time!

Only recommendation Let people know cant get in till 4 exactly. Got there at 3.57. Combinations did not work until 4. Everything else great

Beautiful place, steps from the beach, walkable shops, coffee shops, restaurants galore! Joan and Joe were excellent responsive hosts. Highly recommend both Newport Beach and Joan and Joe’s place!

We really enjoyed our stay at Oksana’s place! It was very clean and as described. Check-in and check-out was easy and the instructions were clear. Parking can be tough, but we got really lucky and got a spot right in front of the building. We decided to uber to places if needed for the remainder of our trip. That worked out smoothly and didn’t have to worry about getting places or finding parking when returning. Overall, very nice place and would recommend!
