we stayed at Richard's place for 2 days and loved every bit of it as someone from this was a perfect blend of country side and a small town just 2 mins away for easy accessibility their local pub and the food served there was so fresh in every bite I would definitely recommend this place also the place is more beautiful in person than the photos

I absolutely loved my stay at the lodge. It really is the most gorgeous place and is surrounded by woodland to one side and rolling hills to the other. I needed somewhere to escape to for a relaxing weekend away and this couldn’t have been more perfect - it’s so cosy, comfortable and the attention to detail is just wonderful - it felt like home (a very beautifully styled version of home) and I didn’t want to leave. The gardens are lovely too - lots of different spots to relax and enjoy the sunshine and the sound of the birds and the river. Ken was a lovely host - he organised some food and drink for me for when I arrived so that I didn’t have to worry about shopping. He shared recommendations of things to do and checked in with me during my stay to make sure all was ok. I really did feel thoroughly spoilt!

Waking up to the fabulous views in all directions at this lovely cottage was a real treat , we loved seeing the cows and Tex the horse on the hillside. The facilities at the cottage really suited our family group of grown up kids including visiting girlfriend who was able to join us and a group of family members who came over to visit us from Kildare. A great base to visit the coast, Dublin and the local Gardens and countryside . Colin was very helpful with any queries and local knowledge and the welcome message plus scones and jam made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. A lovely spot to relax and explore 'the 40 shades of green' in abundance.
