Beautiful, and atypical house, my spouse and I had a great time, super available and kind host. We will be happy to come back for a moment of absolute relaxation.

We had a wonderful stay at Chris’s place. The house was in a lovely location, very peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed spending time listening to the many & varied birds while relaxing in the secluded garden. The house was well appointed and spacious and had everything we needed. Chris was very helpful in giving guidance about the local area and what to see and do plus restaurant recommendations. The house was in a great location for plenty of places to visit. We had great fun making our own paper at the local paper mill after a very informative tour. The swimming pool was fantastic and the water warm. The two bicycles were great for cycling down to the boulangerie for fresh bread & pastries in the mornings. Thank you Chris for a great stay. We thoroughly recommend.

This place is great - we booked mainly for the pool (which is superb, and has the most wonderful views across a meadow to the woodland) but the house far exceeded our expectations too. The photos really don't do it justice. The bedrooms are enormous and have very comfortable beds, and the kitchen is very well-equipped. The whole place is private and has a great feeling of spaciousness, and we felt very relaxed and peaceful. We will certainly return!
