Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

It is located under the century-old oak trees of the property, which will protect and recharge you with energy. All this in the heart of Provence, on a 6,000 m² wooded property. The independent bedroom has a large 160 Luxury quality bed, a television, and very efficient wifi access. Access to swimming pool and jacuzzi included.

2 People only. On the banks of the Gardon, fully restored independent cottage with an area of 50 m2 in the countryside, shaded courtyard with independent entrance. Air-conditioned with bed "queens" size 160*200. No opposite with our house and only one rental on our property. In summer: from May to the end of September 8*4 swimming pool, with salt / heated, surrounded by flowers with pleasant garden furniture. The pool is lit in the evening; Towels provided .Cafe maker= Dolce Gusto

Close to Pont du Gard (40 min walk, 3 min drive), on a hillside overlooking nature drawn by its rivers and vineyards, the Petit Gîte will seduce you with its sweetness of life and sunny climate 300 days a year. Guests can take advantage of the outdoor area with private swimming pool (counter-current swimming), beautiful terrace and private access to the pétanque court. A beautiful path will lead you to the cottage in total independence thanks to the individual automated gate.

The farmhouse is very quiet, in an agricultural environment (meadows), with beautiful biodiversity. Between Avignon and Carpentras, we are ideally located near Isle/Sorgues, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Luberon, Dentelles de Montmirail, Mont Ventoux, Pont du Gard, Orange, Camargue, Alpilles... All shops and train station 2 km away.

Please note, this cottage is available for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children under 16 years old. And not 4 adults. Accessibility: It is difficult to access for people with reduced mobility (wheelchairs) because of the step at the entrance and the size of the toilets
