Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Barga

We hebben een week doorgebracht in het huis van Stella en Tessa. Het is een sfeervol en authentiek ingericht appartement. Het ligt tussen de bergen omringd door olijfbomen maar steden zoals Lucca en Florence liggen niet ver weg. Het huis was heel schoon en lekker koel bij warme temperaturen. Er is voldoende schaduw rondom het huis. We hebben een kookles bij Stella gevolgd, dit was leerzaam en heel gezellig. Stella bedankt voor je vriendelijkheid, de heerlijke Italiaanse gerechten en je tips over de omgeving. Groeten, Margret en Toin

Struttura davvero molto curata nei dettagli! Oltre alla pulizia completa. Le indicazioni sono state chiare e la posizione è buona per spostarsi in auto tra la Liguria e la Toscana. Parcheggio su strada davanti al cancello di entrata, zona tranquilla con il fascino del fiume. La descrizione della struttura è precisa al reale quindi l'unica accortezza che indicherei è che può non essere troppo adatta a chi ma problemi a fare le scale essendo disposta su tre livelli.

Eine schöne Unterkunft mitten in dem Bergdorf Volegno. Man hatte die totale Ruhe und einen super Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen oder auch mit ein bisschen Fahrt zu verschiedenen Stränden und Städten. Es gab jeden Morgen frisches Gebäck zum Frühstück und allgemein war Elisabetta sehr hilfsbereit. Eine tolle Unterkunft, um tagsüber unterwegs zu sein und dann abends dort zur Ruhe zu kommen!

This place is absolutely stunning! Alessandro is the most amazing host- very flexible with our late check in and early leaving time- even brought us a cappuccino at 3:30am before we left! Couldn’t recommend more- we will definitely be back- thank you for the most amazing stay!

Die Lage und insbesondere die Aussicht ist einzigartig. Der Garten ist wunderschön angelegt und bietet viele verschiedene Sitz- und Liegemöglichleiten. Das Bett, die Matratze und die Kopfkissen sind hochwertig und bequem. Die Küche ist sehr groß, ist einfach ausgestattet und biete alles, um umfangreich kochen zu können. Das Haus ist nicht barrierefrei, sowohl im Haus, als auch um das Haus herum sind viele verwinkelte Stufen. Das WLAN ist sehr gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf. Het huis is echt groter dan op de foto’s. We hebben ons echt 8 dagen ontzettend thuis gevoeld. Communicatie met Laura de huis manager was super fijn. Leuk dat we haar nog even hebben mogen ontmoeten. Voor een uitval basis om noord Toscane waar je wil genieten van de rust is dit een super plek.

Lovely little place, perfect for a couple. Very peaceful, absolutely beautiful scenery. Very clean, with an amazing host. Would happily go back. The only thing I would say is, that the drive to the property can be challenging for drivers who don’t have a lot of confidence. Other than this, it’s an amazing house, lots of character, we loved it!

Loved this place. Exactly what we needed after a trip in Rome. Filipo clearly has a passion for plants and we absolutely loved his gardens. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to explore this region. We had a rental car and were able to explore and enjoy everything- Florence, Pisa, Siena, Crete senesi and San gimignano.

Amazing place & beautiful location. Personally, we really enjoyed the restaurant below us, super friendly, gorgeous traditional Italian food at an excellent price! I would highly recommend the accommodation for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings! Super clean, great communication via the host, extremely comfortable and decorated to perfection. Restaurant - Antica Osteria Dei Mercanti - 5 star too!!

Wir wurden von Marinella sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns direkt wie Zuhause gefühlt. Sie hat uns tolle Tipps gegeben, was man in der Umgebung unternehmen kann – das war super hilfreich! Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön gelegen, mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht, die jeden Tag aufs Neue begeistert hat. Wenn irgendetwas war, war Marinella sofort zur Stelle und hat sich liebevoll gekümmert. Wir hatten eine rundum tolle Zeit und werden definitiv wiederkommen. Klare Empfehlung!

L'appartamento è davvero molto bello e pulito, inoltre possiede lo stile di Cinzia, una persona che ama la sincerità e la semplicità, nonché la bellezza della natura. È sempre stata disponibile alle richieste e ha sempre fornito suggerimenti utili. Consiglio vivamente questo luogo, essenziale e comodo, sia per chi voglia trascorrere giornate in montagna che al mare, facilmente accessibile ma restando un po' fuori dalle classiche rotte turistiche.

Das Inserat der Unterkunft bietet bei weitem nicht die wunderschöne Landschaft der Unterkunft ab! Es gibt zig versteckte Plätze im Garten, in denen man entspannen kann. Am besten gefiel uns die tägliche Radfahrt nach Lucca mit den von Anita bereitgestellten Fahrrädern. Call me by your name Szenen in real life! Ebenfalls toll war die Nähe zum Strand Marina di Vecchiano, welcher als Art Geheimtipp gilt im Vergleich zu den überlaufenen Stränden bei Viareggio. Der Grill der Unterkunft eignet sich perfekt für ein gemütliches Barbecue, wenn man genug von Pizza und Pasta hat. Die Küche reicht vollkommen aus um sich mittags jegliche Gericht zu zaubern. Außerdem gibt es eine Dartscheibe, mit welcher man sich gut die Nachmittage vertreiben kann. Die einzigen Nachteile waren für uns: Der Pool war leider etwas niedrig mit 1,10m. Die Gegend hat eine leichte Mückenplage, wobei Anita uns Material zur Verfügung stellte um dem entgegenzuwirken. Alles in allem eine wunderbare Unterkunft!!

un endroit charmant, décoré avec goût, bel espace. un hôte et son papa très accueillants, attentifs tous les deux au bien être des visiteurs. Séjour trop court, une forte envie de revenir pour profiter encore mieux de cette belle région entre les cinq terres et les Alpes apuanes.

Top locatie, met prima voorzieningen. Het uitzicht is prachtig en een dikke plus voor de privé kookles! Niet twijfelen, gewoon boeken.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at Andrea’s apartment in Pietrasanta. Before we even checked- in, Andrea was extremely responsive and proactive in his communication. The apartment was immaculate and provided a modern feel while maintaining its rustic charm. We greatly appreciate the clear instructions Andrea provided, and that he took time out of his day to meet us at the parking spot, which was less than a 5 minute walk to the apartment. Highly recommend the apartment if you’re looking to be in a great walkable location to the Pietrasanta centre.

Wir haben uns extrem wohlgefühlt in Matteos Unterkunft. Sie liegt in malerischer Umgebung, die sehr viel Ruhe und Entspannung bietet. Die Zimmer sind mit viel Liebe zum Details gestaltet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Insgesamt ist ein Aufenthalt bei Matteo äußerst empfehlenswert und auch wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen!

Die Wohnung war sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und gut gelegen, um die Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und es hat Spaß gemacht dort zu kochen. Die Kommunikation mit Elisa war perfekt und wir durften sogar früher ein- und später auschecken. Das Bad war klein, aber funktional. Leider war uns nachts trotz Klimaanlage zu warm, da das Bett direkt unter das Dach gebaut ist. Die Wasserpumpe war zudem recht laut (auch wenn kein Wasser lief). Insgesamt können wir die Wohnung auf jeden Fall empfehlen, wenn man kein Problem mit steilen Treppen hat :)

This is a gem in the heart of Lucca. The apartment is super comfortable and has excellent views of rooftops and towers. The location is excellent closed to all worthy sites in Lucca yet very quiet and peaceful. The building has a great elevator which is a big plus given the top floor location. Salvatore is a great host, very responsive, and accommodating. I would love to return to Salvatore’s place for a longer stay sometime in the future.

Lucca is such a beautiful, vibrant and historic place, and Leandro’s apartment certainly added to the amazing few days we had there. Leandro was always responsive where needed, with clear instructions as to how to find the apartment, and a very detailed guest book detailing the local restaurants and landmarks. The apartment itself is totally spotless, with modern furniture throughout. There is plenty of space as well as a well equipped kitchen. The bathroom is very tastefully decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, I fully recommend Leandro’s apartment, and if we are lucky enough to return to Lucca, we would have no hesitation to come back here.

We loved our stay. It was a beautiful place to relax during our travels.

We had an absolutely wonderful time here at Liliana's place. We spent one of our days in Florence which was easy to get to from here. The immediate area around the apartment is not very attractive, but just a short walk away and you have the amenities in the town itself and we also walked and got the funicular up to Montecatini Alto, which was such a beautiful little place to visit. I would recommend anyone to stay here as everything was clean and tidy and Liliana was a friendly and helpful host.

We've stayed in many nice AirBnbs, but few have truly made us feel as comfortable and at home as this place did. Very easy walk to the main piazza with shopping and cafes. 6 min walk from a lovely park with a weekly farmer's market. Food and coffee on the same block, and near a large grocery store. Nice desk/work space, good air conditioning. One thing to note is you have to climb four flights of stairs and there's no elevator. Also, the couch is small for 2 people. Still, we would stay here again.

An absolutely stunning apartment, located right in the centre of Old Lucca. Lucia was an amazing hostess, giving us loads of really useful information, and recommendations, all of which turned out to be spectacular. From sites to see, best times to go to avoid crowds, restaurants, places for breakfast. Probably one of the most helpful hosts we have experienced with AirBnB. The Duke apartment was wonderful, with everything provided, and with stunning views over Lucca to the mountains on the horizon. There were great restaurants and cafes within 3-5 minutes walk of the apartment, and the provision of 3 bikes was great to gently explore the city walls. All in all, we could not have been more pleased with the apartment, or Lucia (and Maurizio), who were great communicators, from booking through to leaving Lucca, even booking a taxi to the airport for us. Thank you Lucia for your hospitality and kindness.
