Monthly Rentals in Bargrennan

The cottage has been beautifully renovated and decorated and makes an excellent self catering retreat. We loved our short stay and found the position very convenient, being close to town facilities yet within easy reach of Wigtown and the Machars coast, plus Glen Trool area northwards. The cottage is close to a road but very very quiet inside. Its lovely looking out on the walled garden and lawn. So nice too to be able to wander round the garden. There was a lovely smell of roses and other blooms. In late evening, sitting in the garden with a clear sky and a nearly full moon rising was romantic and something special to remember. We slept well in a big comfortable bed and the shower worked well in the clean well designed bathroom. We also appreciated fast WiFi, and later on we enjoyed having somewhere warm and comfortable to sit and read. All very recommendable as a peaceful base from which to explore Galloway!

Sarah was a brilliant host, sent through very clear instructions about how to find the hut that were easy to follow. She was very quick to respond to messages & enquiry’s. The hut is stunning, set among beautiful surroundings. Fantastical appointed for such a small space we immediately felt at home. Breakfast in the morning was definitely worth the price and lovely to meet Sarah as she delivered it via quad bike. A super novel wee touch. Will definitely be back & sampling a swim in the river!!

Came up from London with my partner to visit my brother and his family who live in Creetown. The drive from the apartment there was 10 mins so amazingly convenient for us! The apartment itself did everything you could need. Modern, clean, simple basics, but great internet, comfy bed, and lovely tv. Very lovely bathroom too! We arrived 3 hours late - early hours of morning but the check in instructions were so simple we did not need to disturb our host. Everything was honestly great. A little noise if you’re in the bedroom from the local pub but nothing excessive.

Absolutely lovely wee cottage. Everything you could want or need for a couple of nights break. Wif was a bit hit and miss, mostly showing no internet connection but to us that appealed as we felt “ away from it all “. Would really recommend and love to visit again in the future. Thanks Neil
