Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Bay of Biscay

The house is located directly on the main street, so it is easily accessible. You still don't hear any traffic. Beach 10 minutes away. The apartment itself is very well equipped and clean. We actually only didn't like the outdoor area so much. There is a small courtyard with a table and 4 chairs.

The apartment is fantastic. It is spacious with plenty of storage and amenities. It had a working washing machine with facilities to dry on the balcony - this was useful as we had been travelling beforehand. There is a swimming pool which we didn’t use, however, it looked clean and very inviting! The area is perfect. A lovely coastal walk nearby and a place to generally chill overlooking the sea. The host gave very clear photos and instructions of how to check in etc. The only slight negative would be the check in time, which was 5pm. I feel this is quite late in terms of other properties. We were able to check in around 4pm which helped.

Astrid’s place is as described. Clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Great stay! We would stay there again.

A little piece of paradise, beautifully decorated and very well arranged, with everything you need to have a great stay, especially with children. We're almost in the forest and it's great. Frédéric is very friendly and available. Looking forward to coming back for longer.

A lovely apartment in a great part of the city. Close to great bars with brilliant food. Everything we wanted or needed was close by including a very nice beach. We would definitely stay here again. Had no problems parking our motorcycle close to the flat. There was a lift in the building so that taking luggage or shopping upstairs was easy. Nice balcony big enough for two to eat a meal outside. Excellent host.

Very clean and pleasant apartment, with all the necessities, having towels and sheets is an undeniable plus. The residence is well maintained, the staff friendly and daily activities offered. Thanks to Marie for her great hosting and kindness. And thank you to Maxime for his quick responses and kindness as well. We'll most certainly be back next year. ☀️

We had a fantastic time at Christine’s studio. The location is right on the beach with a breath taking view, just five minutes walk from the town centre….we arrived on Thursday and were able to experience the lovely local market on Friday with a variety of products (clothing, bags, jewellery, food….) …the people in the area are very welcoming…it does help that we speak French…there is lots to do and visit…we were only staying for 3 nights but thought next time we will stay longer as so much beautiful sites we would have loved to visit and the weather was amazing! ❤️

Excellent location: The accommodation is very clean and functional. Dominique is welcoming and accommodating. Special mention to the bedding of great comfort. Ideally located, the residence is very pleasant, Saint Martin en Ré is a charming village. I highly recommend it.

It went very well, we were very well received. The accommodation is very nice, very clean and tastefully decorated. The bed linen too. It's really very nice!!! the location in relation to the beach is actually 200 m maximum. There is the top 👍 bakery, super U Pharmacy, small supermarket, fish tank, and especially several good restaurants nearby with incredible ocean views!! You really won't be disappointed. We had a pleasant time and will definitely come back!!! Thank you to Sebastien and his wife.😊

We had a great time at Lénaïc's! The accommodation is really pretty, tastefully decorated, very well equipped, and great location: we did everything by bike, it was great. The place was super clean, the instructions were clear, and we appreciated the flexibility for check-in. The residence is nice, with good infrastructure. Honestly, nothing to complain about, I recommend 100%!

Thanks to Marc for his hospitality, especially very flexible given our late arrival time. Very smiling, in the exchange, we would really want to invite him for an evening to chat. The decoration of the accommodation is soothing, everything is functional, the bed is comfortable! The apartment is in front of the pool, very quiet! What more can I say, except see you soon! In conclusion, Rodrigue and I loved our romantic weekend!

Great communication, Top-notch accommodation, Lots of activities for a relaxing weekend, too bad the baby is not functional, (but it's a matter of finding something to say) otherwise for everything else nickel, we will come back without hesitation

Comfortable accommodation, very clean, corresponding to the description and with many functional amenities (despite a leak on the coffee maker and broken dishwasher door, but both were usable). We felt very comfortable there. Flexible check-in/check-out, excellent communication with Elise, very welcoming and responsive host. The best thing about this accommodation is its location, quiet, a real haven of peace with beautiful discoveries to make in the region, but the car is essential for any trip. Our only small downside is for the garden: the lawn was not mowed which makes access less easy especially when it rained and earned us a tick bite using the barbecue. Too bad because the environment of this house is superb. The path to the house can be tricky to take in the rain. In the end, we had a great stay at Elise's accommodation and we highly recommend it. Thank you Elise!

The cottage is very pretty and totally barrier-free. I was able to be independent with my wheelchair the whole time. That was great! Nathalie is super nice and totally helpful and warm-hearted. The only drawback: the 2nd bathroom, which was a prerequisite for our booking, belongs to the massage practice behind the house... Otherwise, it was really nice, and the walk along the coast to the Terasses de l 'océan is a dream!

We were there at the end of September, due to the weather unfortunately we could not use the beautiful terrace. For hiking and cycling, the area is great, as there are many cycling and hiking trails. If you want to see the surrounding area, you have to drive a lot. Example Cap Ferret 1 hour 10 min. Bordeaux 40 km, duration approx. 1 hour 15 min.

One of the best accommodations I've ever stayed in. Everything was perfect.
