Waterfront holiday rentals in Bayfield

We stayed at Lakeview Tea for our 10th Anniversary in June and it was absolutely perfect. Not only is the apartment charming and well-appointed, but the private deck overlooking Lake Superior was like a dream. We had an incredible time and highly recommend this host. Jennifer went above and beyond to make this special for us, and she has a unique touch of adding the little things that make the place feel luxurious. And waking up to the view of the lake from a fabulously comfy bed was just the relaxing getaway we needed! The weather was cold, which was WONDERFUL for these south Florida guests. ☺️

My family and I were very happy with: the location, the great water view from the balcony, the attached bookstore (a must visit), everything you need in Bayfield being within walking distance (including the ferries to the Apostle Islands & the Saturday morning farmer's market), the long list of amenities in the apartment, the cleanliness of the apartment, easily accessible parking spaces, and the quick and thorough responses from the hosts. Some patrons at the bar next door were laughing & having fun a little loudly outside on Friday night when we were going to bed, but the sound machines that were available in each of the bedrooms easily took care of it for us. (Saturday night, the patrons were quiet, but we still enjoyed using the sound machines.) We needed help with the airbed and the hosts took care of it promptly. We would definitely stay here again!

If you are fortunate enough, to spend some time on Minnesota’s North Shore, you won’t be disappointed staying here. Brenda and Tom‘s place is exactly as described. It is more than we expected. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and a lovely place to spend a vacation. The location is perfect and so scenic! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and even spotted an Eagle! We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring the surrounding area, including Gooseberry Falls, Grand Marais, and the quaint town of Two Harbors.

Pearl and Jim are great hosts, very easygoing and always helpful. The apartment is the lower unit, exactly as described. From the great window in the main room to the wonderful deck, large bathroom, comfortable bedroom with plenty of closet and drawer space, everything worked well. The garden and lawn that lead down to a small private beach are beautifully landscaped. The apartment was spotless and comfortable.

Great place. Best part was the location. Walked the beach every morning. Very close to the harbor and cool restaurants. Quiet, friendly neighbors. Very pleased with our choice, would stay there again.

Such a peaceful stay. It felt like being in a tree house. Lake views from the bedroom and forest views from the living room. Would stay here again for sure. You could hear the people in adjoining apartment shutting cabinets and talking (I’m sure they could hear us) but still 100% peaceful.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at one of Dillions places. Both have been amazing. I’ll definitely be booking with him again!

We arrived at the house in sub zero temperatures and were very happy to be inside the house with the wonderful radiant heated floors. Warm and cozy! Comfortable beds and warm blankets made for restful nights. The view of the bay is beautiful. Moon rising over the horizon reflected on the ice . We heard Great Horned Owls hooting in the distance. Next visit we hope to come in the summer or fall to walk around more and see the lake. Thanks again!

A beautiful house that fit the needs for our family while attending one of our sons wedding up at Gooseberry Falls State Park. It allowed us to relax and feel comfortable while there. Thank you

Our family of four had a most enjoyable and relaxing stay here. I have no hesitation in recommending this location and the kind hosts. It made for a great relaxing and peaceful retreat near the Duluth area. It was an easy drive to Duluth and the North Shore. We would definitely choose to return if there was an opportunity to do so. The retreat on the lake was a beautiful place to spend a few days. We were there in the winter, and it was a nice cozy atmosphere to be in. The lake is beautiful, and there are beautiful walking trails in the neighborhood. There is a nice little community beach which would be great in the summer. We have always wanted to stay on Canal Park in Duluth. It is a nice walk to everything and a great place to bike. Since parking in Duluth can be an issue it was so nice just to park the bikes. The house was so clean, had beautiful views and lovely spots to sit located around the house. Being right on the beach was such a treat for my 4 grandkids. The beds were very comfortable and one bedroom has a fantastic view of the sunrise! We enjoyed our stay immensely!!

Absolutely loved our stay! The house was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. Great location, peaceful atmosphere, and thoughtful touches throughout. We had an amazing time and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

Our entire family enjoyed Bay Top Lake house. Beautiful surroundings - coffee on the dock, lunch and dinners on the deck and star watching at night. Private yet close to Bayfield for easy access to Madeline Island and Apostle Island tours. Monica is a wonderful host - great communication and the house had many thoughtful touches. Would give Monica and the home a ten if possible!!!

We stayed at Cedar Cove for 5 nights with our extended family with an age range of 18 months to 80 years. This house is a perfect place for a multi generation get together. Everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed the beautiful house and furnishings. There are multiple sitting areas and the beds are extremely comfortable. The view of Lake Superior is gorgeous. The house is very well equipped with all the kitchen ware we could have needed. It is also stocked with many good books, puzzles and games. It is a perfect place to get away and relax.

This was our second stay here. The hosts are helpful and responsive. We were so comfortable and the place is so central. We love it!

Clean and quiet with a nice view. End unit a plus.

We loved our stay here! We had 9 women staying for a girls trip and there was plenty of space for us all if you don’t mind sharing a room. Everyone got their own bed! The entire condo was super clean too. I appreciated that the fridge and freezer were totally empty when we arrived - I don’t love when Airbnbs keep condiments in the fridge from previous guests. I will miss having coffee in the morning from the balcony, the view is incredible and the sun hits the patio all morning. We loved that within 5 minutes we could walk to dinner, shopping, the Madeline island ferry, and our sailing outing. We didn’t have to use our cars once all weekend! Parking was easy. We cooked dinner in the kitchen one night and found it well stocked. Lots of towels were provided in bathrooms. We used the TV to stream music and movies easily as well. The fireplace was used on evening as well and was nice and cozy. My only feedback would be to provide a few more rolls of TP and get a larger coffee pot!

Words can’t even express the amount of gratitude we had for this space. We absolutely took advantage of the entire place. It was magical!. The location, the food, the view, all the people and all intentional things, What a gift!. Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with us. We will be back.

We really enjoyed our time in Two Harbors. The location of this property was nice and secluded. We enjoyed the geese, walking trails, sauna, community room, and overall atmosphere. Missy was very quick, responsive, and kind. Thank you, God Bless!

Beautiful, well-appointed condo in a great location! Loved the decor…photos of local landmarks, exposed brick, etc. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you could need. My boys loved the pool and hot tub. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The location was ideal - close to shops, restaurants and the lakefront. The Brix offers discounts at many of the local establishments. Duluth is such a cool city and a great home base for exploring the North Shore of Minnesota. Highly recommend this AirBnB and hope to visit again!

Karen was a wonderful host who was prompt to respond to our questions and needs. She was able to understand our questions and is making accommodations for the future. It was such a beautiful place with so much to do within a 1/2 hr drive. I would highly recommend others and look forward to future trips and the ability to stay again.
