Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bayou Teche

We felt so fortunate that our previous booking fell through when we arrived in Lafayette and Paz was so kind to accept our request and organize her cleaners right away to prepare the place for us. We felt right at home with the comfortable furnishings, eclectic decor, well stocked kitchen, and patio spaces. One of our (adult) daughters said that we may have lost a pool (the previous booking) but we gained a treehouse (which is really more our style). Paz and her son Eli were quick to respond to our requests, and we couldn’t have been more happy with our stay.

Amazing listing in Baton Rouge. My family and I came in town for a graduation and this home was beautiful. Everyone enjoyed everything about the home. Plenty of space for a large family to move around effortlessly! We will definitely be staying here again for future trips to the area. Highly recommend!

The home was as pictured. Immediately upon entering you got the sense that it's a warm, cozy, comfortable space. The furnishings were beautiful, the bathrooms were clean, and the bed was super comfy and the sheets smelled amazing. Our stay was peaceful and tranquil.

We stayed from a Monday evening until Friday morning. Everything was wonderful! It looks just like the pictures in the listing. Our only "issues," though it wasn't a huge deal, was that the garage was not available to use like it says in the listing, the light switch/dial in the dining room does not work, and the shower in 2nd bathroom in the hallway has the Hot and Cold side labeled backwards. So when you have it on "H" you're actually running just cold water 😅 Otherwise, our stay was wonderful, and we would definitely consider coming back!

This was a lovely place to stay. It was centrally located to all of the things we wanted to do in Lafayette. The house was beautiful and comfortable to stay in. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall, a lovely experience and will book again next time we’re in Lafayette!

Brayden's place was an amazing place to stay in a peaceful and safe neighborhood. We really liked the gated community and how beautiful it was all around. The apartment was in central Baton Rouge which made it very easy to get around and go everywhere we needed to go. The parking garage also added a sense of additional security and the people that lived in the neighboring apartments were friendly. Brayden is a very friendly and responsive host which made things a lot easier. The balcony also added a nice touch to the place. Definitely recommend this stay!

they went above and beyond what a normal place does for hospitality even gave me a ride to work when he was headed that way. super friendly super attentive very nice guy awesome place to stay

Very cool industrial loft style place, unexpectedly cool for Lafayette. Walking distance to everything in downtown core, and central to all Lafayette attractions. Great communication, etc from hosting team. Only niggle is also a positive. The unit is extremely dog friendly, including a fenced grassy rear area, which is awesome! But there are multiple dog-friendly units in same building. Being an older converted industrial building, the dogs in different units can be heard, and can hear each other. So I’d make sure to bring a kennel, put your dog in one of the bedrooms, use some white noise for them and/or you, just to minimize pup ‘cross-woof :)’. But again, such an amazing space, well stocked, super cool (wait until you see the glass ‘window bricks’!), and was fantastic. Loved it!

This was a special place. Felt private and peaceful.. Had a great porch with rocking chairs. Very comfortable bed. One of the nicest and cleanest places we have stayed. Thank you for having us. We look forward to returning!

Our son played a ball tournament in Youngsville this weekend and this was the perfect place for us to stay! We got to experience Rip Van Winkle Gardens as well! Will be staying again.

Beautiful little cabin getaway! Very clean, very quiet and private. Hot tub was very nice and clean. Exactly what we were looking for☺️ The hosts were very nice and helpful too!

Great stay! Vickie was very accommodating and very helpful with questions. Cozy, comfy and the air condition work well! (A must in south Louisiana!) Very nice dock and the neighbor (looking from the water towards the road on the right) was very friendly and helpful with local information. I wish I remembered his name 🤦🏻‍♂️ Overall, great stay and definitely will book again in the future! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The lodge was very nice and had a great spot outside to cook and hangout with friends and family. Plenty of room to sleep and plenty of seating inside of the lodge. Would definitely recommend to anyone and I would definitely go back. The response time and customer service was incredible.

A serene cabin in a great location with tons of nature and water nearby. We really enjoyed the pond, the canoe, and the outdoor games provided. Easy to get into town for supplies. Communication was quick and clear with the hosts.

The perfect place for a peaceful and quiet getaway!

The property was exactly as described. It was very private, clean, spacious and on a really nice piece of property. It was peaceful yet not too far off the beaten path. Gus was a great online host whose communication was clear, prompt and spot on. The value of the fees and charges were in line with expectations and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. We would definitely recommend this property to others and it deserves a 5/5 star rating.
