Lovely 2 night stay at Jess's place. The cottage has been decorated very nicely throughout. Plenty of space for couple+ toddler +2 dogs. Dog treats on arrival were a lovely touch. Little paved garden was enough for the dogs to totter around and the park just a 2 minute walk away was great for dogs and child alike! As it's a terraced cottage, we did hear the neighbours (including through night/early hours of the morning). Parking wasn't always available opposite, but always able to park within 30 second walk.

Great stay at Jennie’s house. Loved the location for Sherwood Forest, Nottingham Castle and the Tramway Museum. Kids loved the garden and hot tub and the beds were comfortable. Would recommend.

Me, my partner and our dog stayed at this home mon-Fri and it was amazing! We loved having the sheep around us, the garden was well fenced in to keep our nosy dog contained. The views were just amazing. Beautiful walks close by and not far from Bakewell town. Emma was quick to reply and fast to help with the issue we had with the hot water (fixed within hours of contacting her.) There is a quarry close by, and as stated by others the road outside could sometimes be a little noisy with the large trucks going by, but honestly it didn’t make much difference to us. We’d definitely stay here again! A lovely little property😊

What a lovely cottage! The views were spectacular! My daughters and I took many pictures of the countryside and of the adorable sheep grazing nearby. The cottage was perfect for resting up and refreshing between our trips to the Chatsworth House and Gardens. Had a wonderful stay with my friends for 1 night! Perfect for a big group, lovely bedrooms and a big sized living room. Set in a gorgeous location with countryside views. We had a great meal in the local pub and made use of the hot tub at the property. Overall a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone!

Pigeon Loft Cottage was just as described, a very cute and cosy home away from home. The cottage was very easy to find following Susie’s directions and there is ample parking at the property as well as around the area. The check in was delayed by an hour or so due to us booking an extra night but Susie was extremely apologetic and did her best to get the cottage ready as quick as she could and allowed us to leave our shopping in the fridge during. Although she was trying to get it ready quickly, the cottage was still very clean and tidy when we did check in. The rest of the trip was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay :)

Susan is the best host! Lovely and thoughtful welcome amenities provided for our group, bumblebee barn is so homely, we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend

Easter Weekend spent in the Deferrers Cottage with 3 generations of family. Stunning location, felt very private even though there are other families staying nearby. Superb facilities, well equipped kitchen and felt really at home there. Thoughtful touches of birthday banner, cake & bottle of fizz were much appreciated. Plenty of hot water at all times and strong showers. Managed to engage all generations with the setting, facilities (swimming pool and games room are ace) and accommodation. Nicola you have nailed this place, what an incredible set up! Thankyou.

Had a lovely stay at the Chapel. The surrounding area was beautiful and was very peaceful. The location was perfect - a 10minute drive from Bakewell. The hosts were very friendly, were very quick to respond to messages and were kind enough to leave some extra treats for us to enjoy during our stay. The use of the indoor pool, sauna and hot tub were highlights for us and overall made for a very relaxing stay. Would definitly recommend to friends and family and would definitly stay here again.

We had such a fantastic time here ! We felt it was really good value for money (we stayed off peak) and the facilities on site were great. The pool was perfect for the children and also great to have the little play park . We would absolutely come back again and actually are looking at arranging something asap for next year.

What a wonderful weekend we had! I celebrated my 60th birthday there. A charming Barn with lots of character. Lovely & welcoming with a special cake and birthday decorations. Treats & a bed for the dog too! All my family thoroughly enjoyed it! Lolly, the facilities manager, was really friendly and helpful before we arrived and available all weekend with any issues we had that were resolved so quickly. Thank you Lolly! The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. Absolutely perfect from booking to checking out. Richard is an incredible host with everything you need. If you have kids, this is the place. Our 6 and 4 year old loved swimming multiple times, reading the kids library of books and playing with the many toys at the house. You can’t get any better than these hosts and this house.

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

We had a lovely stay at Hartle. Great cottage and good facilities. Access to the pool and sauna was a bonus. Good parking. Had chargers but didn’t need to use. Well located. Allowed our dog - bonus. Definitely recommend.

A high quality Airbnb with nice furniture and good equipment. It was very clean and Katrina was very communicative. She was super helpful when I managed to leave my handbag at the property when we left! The Co-op is 2 mins walk for any essentials you might have left at home. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful and tranquil settings, away from the hustles and bustles of life. spent 2 nights here for my husband's birthday. We met the family, the horses, the chickens and ducks. Home from home and would highly recommend if you want a break from everyday life but not far from visiting local sites. Everything in there that you need, from washing up liquid to soaps and shampoos. Would definitely stay again 🙂

The house was just what we wanted, somewhere to relax and enjoy our company, wirh enough amenities and equipment to host a little dinner party to my family. Who live equidistant from us. A day out in Nottingham and back to peartree house to chill on the patio. Comfortable rooms and beds, plenty of space and off road parking. Loved it, thank you

We stayed a week at Swift Retreat in 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay and very impressed with Alicia. Alicia is quick to answer requests and helpful in every respect. Having enjoyed it we spent another week their this June and was not disappointed with our decision. Swift Retreat was as clean, uncluttered and yet homely as we remembered it. Alicia was just as helpful and flexible. The week went far too quickly. Can't wait for next year.

The cottage was a real gem in beautiful surroundings. All you require for an outstanding stay with every mod con you could possibly need provided. Every aspect of the cottage was classy and modern. Our hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us. We had a superb stay and would highly recommend it to anyone interested.

Couldn't recommend this more, it was exactly what we were hoping for! The whole place was tastefully appointed, spotless, organised and spacious - and with a lovely view of the city to boot. I've never used the keyless entry method utilised here before, but it was seamless and quite impressive! Big recommend for anyone looking for a stay in the city.

Such a beautiful cottage. The cottage was amazingly clean, spacious and welcoming. The host kept in touch all the time and was always quick to respond. Such a shame we only really slept there and couldn’t spend longer as we were at Download Festival. Thank you and we hope to come back for a proper stay.
