This is an excellent base for outdoor enthusiasts , close to mountain bike tracks and hill walks, it is on part of National cycle route 7 . The beaches are 25 minute drive away and only 10 minute drive to main town of Dumfries. The property is situated on bus route . There is storage for bikes . The house is next door to the owners property.

Although only two miles from Dumfries Town Centre it is in a quiet, rural location. There is ample parking beside the cottage and a lockable room for storage of bicycles and other leisure equipment. The cottage provides a great base from which to enjoy the many cultural and outdoor activities available in the immediate locality.
