Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Bellevigne-les-Châteaux

We felt very lucky to be able to stay in Catherine's beautiful gite. We were made so welcome from the minute we arrived. The gite is calm, clean and beautifully decorated. We especially enjoyed sitting in the garden listening to the birds and the silence. The pool was a welcome retreat during the hottest part of the day. The many trees create areas of shade whilst the flowers add colour in the many different pockets of interest. We would thoroughly recommend Catherine's gite and would love to return ourselves one day.

We only stayed 2 nights but Karine was super welcoming and responsive when needed. The accommodation is clean, spacious and located in a quiet location perfect for enjoying the terrace. The little extra for us was the private parking. We recommend it ++.

Stephanie is a host like we'd like to see more often. Everything was there: The sympathy, the smile, the responsiveness as well as all the necessary equipment and accessories, which are not available in normal times. In addition, the city center of Saumur is 5 minutes away by car. Which is very much appreciated. The private and enclosed courtyard was very cocooning, with small messages in places reminding us of the positive side that everyone carries within. We came with our dog and everything was thought of for him, a small bag of treats was waiting for him on arrival. In short, not a single false note for Stéphanie. I highly recommend Go there with your eyes closed

the cottage is very clean in a very quiet little village. there was nothing missing.

We enjoyed a relaxing week here. A quiet rural location surrounded by vineyards but only just beyond the edge of town so a quick drive (or a long walk) gets you into the centre. The flat on the ground floor was spacious, comfortable and well equipped and we were made to feel very welcome. Lots of places to visit as well as the famous chateaux. I particularly recommend the visit to Ackerman winery, not just for the famous sparkling wine but for a stunning art installation in the cave created with fluorescent thread and ultra violet light. Sarah’s apartment was the perfect quick little stopover whilst we’re on our roadtrip. The apartment is very tastefully furnished, uber well equipped and in a gorgeous walkable location. The apartment was very clean and the bed was also comfortable! Water pressure in the shower was great too. I wouldn’t recommend bringing a large suitcase as the building is very old and has narrow doors and stairs (the apartment is on the 2nd floor). Sarah was also a very friendly host; offering recommendations of restaurants and boulangeries that were great. All in all, a great value stop in a gorgeous little town, I couldn’t recommend it more! Saumur is a super town to visit, and this apartment is a great base, very central to the restaurants and shops, and a short walk up to the castle and other sights, It’s a nice flat as well and a on a quiet road. Anaïs, Joëlle and Pierre were very helpful.

Thanks for the very nice stay. We stayed two nights that we very much enjoyed. A really nice room, a great bathroom and a good kitchenette. Great, were also the play facilities for our three year old daughter in the big garden. We took a trip to Angers, which is not far away. We can only highly recommend this. What a great city.

I spent one month in the apartment, working remotely as a change from Ireland which was still very much in COVID lockdown. I could not have been luckier with the apartment, the beautiful building and garden, the town of Saumur and with Christiane as my landlady. I had a very, very special time there- the apartment and building is timeless, beautiful, safe and tranquil. It’s location is perfect in the old town of Saumur. Christiane was the most wonderful, welcoming person who is spent some quality time with and it was an honour to get to know her. It was a fantastic place to call home when I was there. And I have taken back some really wonderful memories. I miss it already. Thank you Christiane!

Good experience. The accommodation was as described. Very pleasant, well arranged, very warm and functional. The bed is very large and access to the garden (a real little green oasis) is a real bonus. The only downside could be the parking. At times when the neighborhood is busy, it is rather difficult to find a place to park near the accommodation. I would definitely recommend it for a stay in Saumur.
