Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Bellingham

We spent a full week in this cozy spot. Walked to breakfast in downtown Bellingham several times. It seemed like everything we did was just a 10-15 minute drive, weather biking Galbraith, a trip to Costco for a pre wedding party, or into Fairhaven for the wedding we easily moved around town. When we needed recovery this place was great for chilling to music or watching a movie. We cooked several meals in the kitchen and found everything we needed to make them delicious. My wife, adult son, and 93-yr old mom found the place roomy enough for personal space,too. I think three couples could easily coexist there. Thanks for sharing this gem,Nick!

We came here as 3 moms on a Mother's Day weekend getaway. It was everything the doctor ordered: peace and quiet, a beach within walking distance, birds all around and the delightful town of Fairhaven just up the road. We loved the comfortable lived-in feel of the house. So many Airbnbs these days are without personality; this is a home that has been lived in and loved, filled with the books and art of a family that loved their home and its beautiful setting. We watched birds, took hikes, completed a jigsaw puzzle and explored the shops of Fairhaven. It is hard to ask for anything more. The beds were comfortable, the view from the deck was amazing, it had everything we needed - without being remotely pretentious.

We loved the location. I stayed here with my three kids and they loved playing in the backyard, and the home was spacious enough for them to play. There were also enough beds to comfortably accommodate all of us.

I appreciated how very clean the house was and the well-outfitted kitchen. The neighborhood is quiet, with old houses, beautiful gardens, and an arboretum just up the hill.

This home is perfect for families in a great location. So many playgrounds are close by within 10 minutes! The grocery store is one block away. Tons of restaurants/breweries/coffee shops nearby. This house has a great set up with one bedroom with attached bathroom downstairs. Three bedrooms (including the kids room) are upstairs with a shared large bathroom/laundry room. The house was comfortable with AC and a ceiling fan in almost every room. The backyard is so much fun with a seating area and a hot tub. The hot tub was easy to lower the temp for our kids then it heated up quick for the adults at night. Bring some outside toys for the kids. Parking was easy right next to the home and it is a very safe neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again! It was so easy to communicate with the host and check in/out was a breeze.

We had a great, brief overnight stay at Audreys while some home renovations were curing. We brought our wee pup, and stopped at the B'ham farmers market on the way in (supplies are a bit scarce out by Audrey's so best to self support) and were able to check in a bit early to put food in the fridge and park our car, as the Lummi Island ferry was doing it's seasonal dry dock and we could scoot over and walk on for a lovely afternoon on the Island. A peaceful nights sleep and a nice mellow morning and we were on our way - bed was very comfortable. Host was responsive and place was as shown - a really cool option in a pretty wild and out of the way area!

We were in town for our boy’s state baseball tournament but we will be back to Bellingham just for this place. This house was incredibly beautiful and the view is second to none! We saw bald eagles right off the back deck and sailboats on the bay. What a spot to rest! The hosts were great and very accommodating. We read the reviews about the train noise so we were aware going in. We actually enjoyed watching them go by from the back deck and the noise was noticeable, but didn’t bother us at all. They have a photo album of the construction process that they did as a family and it’s amazing to see what they went through to build this beautiful home. I’m a carpenter by trade so I could really appreciate the craftsmanship of this home. My wife’s favorite artist is Andrew Wyeth and she was thrilled that they had 2 of his painting in the house. Everything we needed, they had and we look forward to coming back!

We had a wonderful stay! The garden was beautiful and peaceful. Hannah and Tom were fun to chat with and we loved hearing about the hard work they’ve put into the place over the years. Would stay again.

In a beautiful spot with views over Lake Campbell we felt right at home as a family of 4. The accommodation is spacious and immaculate, with everything we needed. The gardens are manicured and it was relaxing to sit on the patio and take in the view. Gary and Ginny were great hosts, setting a sofa bed before our arrival and great to chat with Gary as we left. My Erie and Deception State Parks are stunning, with plenty of good walks, great views and an ease short drive from the property. A gem of a place from which to explore.

Sylvia’s place was the perfect stay! She provided plenty of recommendations and the place itself was exactly as pictured. The view is hard to beat and it was such a peaceful place—we didn’t want to leave! We were able to walk to all of the nearby restaurants, so the location was perfect. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

This waterfront inner bay location is an ever changing view of tidal events, birds, and a beautiful garden. Every hour of the day had something different to observe and enjoy. Faces east for moonrise and sunrise views. A lovely setting, kind hosts, and close enough to Edison for dining, art galleries, and a small village stroll. Plus the king bed was incredibly comfortable so sleep was a dream. Recommend adding a visit to Bow Sanctuary sauna and sessions to add a wellness experience.

Great spot, so perfect for travel w a furry friend, and such a cute and generously appointed place! Near co-op and Aslan Brewery, too! ❤️

Peggys was such a wonderful host and a great communicator. The studio was very clem and the location was spot on. It was very close to everything especially the ferry harbor, which was super convenient for us since island hopped everyday. Would recommend and definitely would stay again.

We were in a bind after checking into another Airbnb in the vicinity, and found it didn’t have cell service or WiFi, and one member of our family had to do a few hours of remote work each morning. Lynne took us ten min before arrival and saved the day. But what a blessing it was to be at her barndominium with all its beautiful decor and upscale finishes! The views are not just the mountains we came to see and hike, but over a 100 sheep with lambs, working dogs who are friendly protecting them, and several horses and a colt out the 2nd story picture windows that overlook a huge working farm! We had paid for animal experiences elsewhere, and what an extra bonus! Beds comfy, kitchen has all you need for family breakfasts, shower amazing with great pressure and temp. The family room large Roku has lots of options, everyone had room to spread out. Murphy (pull down from wall) bed sure beats a sofa bed for someone too! Lynne is quick for any needs or questions. Ezekiel loves ear scratches!

This place lives up to its name, Hidden Gem. With the shrubs and bushes around the property and the terrace give total privacy as well as the beautiful sounds of birds and the odd passing squirrels and deer. Even being above quite a busy street, it is peaceful and relaxing. The apartment is really comfortable and has everything we needed for the 10 days we stayed. The proximity to town as well as some lovely nature walks and easy access to the walk along the Boulevard is wonderful.

Kristy’s place was great! Perfect place to crash after a day of hiking around Mt. Baker. There wasn’t many food options in the actual town of Glacier but there was a grocery store! Just something to keep in mind, but it was great stay!!

The Inn on the Harbor was a perfect weekend getaway spot. Super clean and comfortable with great water views. Check in was made really easy and Tracey gave great directions ahead of time. Downtown Blaine is very walkable from this spot. We will be back!

The only complaint I have is the bed in the bedroom. Could not sleep on it very squeaky, wiggly, mattress very lumpy.. needs a foam mattress and new frame. It was so uncomfortable. Thank god the couch was comfortable. Hopefully he will replace the bed by the next time I stay.

This was a really, really great find and stay. Dawn, the property manager, was incredibly responsive and helpful - our only issue was someone who parked in our designated spot, which Dawn sorted out within minutes. Lars' condo is beautiful and well appointed, with many thoughtful touches including coffee and toiletries. One downside on hot days in the absence of air conditioning, however the unit has plenty of high powered fans to help. I would absolutely stay at Lars' place again. Thanks Dawn and Lars!

Katie was a very great and responsive host. We are actually able to get in there a little earlier than expected and we appreciated that. I would stay here again in a heartbeat the next time I am visiting the San Juan Islands. The place was private and yet close to town. There was a great rock covered in moss. That was a perfect meditation spot for me in the early morning. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was above and beyond! It exceeded my expectations.

We really enjoyed our stay! Loved that from one balcony we had a river view and the other a view of the bay. The home was comfortable and cozy for our family. Beds had nice, soft (and clean!) sheets, comfortable mattresses as well. Short walk to beach access and coffee shop which was a plus as well.

We had a great weeklong stay at Sunset condo. It was so comfortable and spacious. The view was great and true to the name… the sunsets were awesome. The hosts have really thought of everything to make their guests stay easy. All the thoughtful touches were really appreciated. The full size kitchen has everything you need, the bathrooms are well stocked and the beds and bedding are super comfortable. We really enjoyed walking in the Madrona beach neighborhood and on the public beach which is just a few steps away. This is a relaxing getaway spot. We highly recommend Maryln’s place!
