We renovated this beautiful 1920's home and part of the renovation was the apartments. It's a welcoming cozy apartment, that is nestled in the middle of downtown. Here you can have everything at your doorstep and "almost heaven" views. We fell in love with this property because it is canopied beneath big old shade trees and sits on "one of the prettiest streets in Parkersburg".

I welcome you to Seven Oaks Cabin. It is a place of well-being for individuals who like to connect with nature while staying in a primitive cabin away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The interior consists of a variety of wood-eastern white pine, cedar and cherry. The living area has furniture made by local Amish, septic system for flush toilet, instant hot water, small bedroom with bunk bed (full mattress on bottom/ twin on top), efficiency kitchen, and loft with queen mattress.

The Creek House has all the countryside and space available to relax and enjoy pastoral settings. Right next to OldUS 33, close to OU campus for activities. The Creek is an original farmhouse built on a working farm, now retired. Farm and forest wildlife call the more than 40 acres home. While you may just enjoy the hiking and scenery the property provides, you are 2 min from Athens and the Ohio University Campus. Spacious free parking for campers, boats, and outdoor gear. Pet friendly.

Short drive on the highway from Athens, OH (15 minutes) and Parkersburg, WV(35 minutes). Detached studio apartment located on 25 acres with access to almost 300 acres for walking and fishing(catch and release). Studio apartment has a full kitchen and bathroom, two bed nooks, a chair, and table with four barstools. The space is heated using radiant floor during cool weather and during warm weather cooled by a window unit AC. Owners live about 30ft from rental on the property.

Have a nice warm cup of apple cider by the bonfire overlooking the mountains. Bring your atv and enjoy adventure riding in the back country of Wirt county. After a long day, cuddle up on the couch and watch a move in front of the fireplace. 4wd required a steep driveway.

Completely remodeled C&O train caboose with a large deck and an amazing view looking over the Ohio river and West Virginia. A full size Murphy bed, original writing desk, the dining table is an old sleeper bed turned upside down and all the lights are original out of Pullman train cars No smoking inside the caboose. This 560 sq. foot treehouse cabin is situated on 20 acres surrounded by the Acadia Cliff Wildlife Preserve. While here, hike to the Millstone Quarry for a bit of Ohio history and visit the OU campus and surrounding city of Athens. Be sure to stop by the Athens Farmer's Market on Wednesday's and Saturdays!
