Clean, comfortable and cute for those looking for a comfy place to get away from it all. Carmen’s Cabin was built by my daughter Carmen and her father in 2005. Open, bright, clean and cozy, this beautiful and efficient cabin is found in a wonderfully pleasant and family friendly neighborhood. It was situated on site to take maximum advantage of the stunning views of Kachemak Bay and the Grewingk Glacier. This is a no-pet listing, just right for one or two people. We would love to host you!

This simple, charming cabin sits atop a green (or white or brown) pasture overlooking Kachemak Bay and two spoiled horses. It has a quiet “out of town” feel, yet, the Spit and downtown homer are only an 8-12 minute drive away. You might find fresh eggs from our hens in the refrigerator if they are producing well! It includes one comfy queen bed, full bathroom with laundry, and a small but capable kitchen. Longer stays here are economical and comftorable.

This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay in Homer. The views were incredible, and it was an easy walk down to the beach. We saw otters from the deck every day of our stay. Melissa provides binoculars! Very peaceful and private but still a short drive to the spit. I would definitely stay again!

Tiny house on Main Street

We rented this cute tiny home for a couple days and our experience was amazing. Whitney was great and made us feel right at home. He communicated very well and I feel went above and beyond, even gathered big rocks for us so my daughter could have a camp fire. It had everything we needed and then some. It was very affordable, clean, and cozy. A big plus for us was that it had a nice warm shower to come home to after fishing and playing at the beach. As well as a toilet and can't forget the stove top incase we didn't want to cook over the fire. While those were pluses for us, it was also literally equipped with everything you would need. The inside was decorated very cute and the outside had lots of grassy area for my kiddo to play in which included friendly bunny's that would let you go right up to them to feed and pet. 10/10 would recommend, we will definitely be renting from Whitney again when we take our trips to Homer!

NEW Private Home In Town With Big Yard & Bay View!

My new favorite place to stay by far! I can not say enough good things about this Air b&b. we got there and access was super easy. we immediately were in aww of the beautiful home and the amazing views!! We didn't want to leave that deck! Moose walk through and we can watch the planes take off with a breathtaking mountain back drop. much respect for the person that trimmed the trees enough to get the view and still keep privacy from the below neighbors. We had one little hick-up and the Co-host ran over with in 20 minutes even though it was not urgent. Top notch service!! He made our last night a memorable one . Washer and dryer was so helpful and much appreciated. kitchen is above and beyond stocked with dishes, spices and coffee supplies. We made steak dinner for our last meal and then sat on the patio and enjoyed the perfect outside evening. Thank you so much to the host for the investment and care taken in put this home away from home together for us to enjoy!

A cute and very well thought out tiny house. A lot of helpful instructions if you aren’t used to off grid living. It’s remote and quiet and the view is incredible! We had trouble with the water one night but the host fixed it quickly. It had everything we needed and we would definitely stay here again!
