Nomad No8 is a newly built luxury holiday home capturing stunning views across the Mackenzie tussock land to the Ben Ohau Range . All year round comfort is assured with your only challenge being able to drag yourself away from the stunning views. It is also a star gazers heaven every night under the UNSECO dark sky reserve. Situated on the edge of the township towards Lake Ruataniwha and under the UNSECO Dark Sky Reserve, truly a stargazer haven. Twizel township is 4 min drive or 25 min walk.

Mahina Cabin was used by the owner to live in prior to building our residence on this 5500sqm site. It is 10m from our Mahina Cottage and 15m behind our house. It is cosy, private, has plenty of parking and has all that is needed for a quiet getaway while enjoying our little piece of paradise here in Twizel, the heart of the Mackenzie Country. The grounds have been landscaped with mainly native plantings to enhance the privacy and views. The owners live on site and operate a native nursery.

Come and enjoy a stay on our beautiful lavender and olive farm, with breathtaking mountain views. The Barn has 1 queen-sized bed, 1 sofa bed and private bathroom. There is a microwave, fridge and bbq, tea, coffee, crockery etc You can picnic in the gardens or say hello to the dogs, cats, sheep, & alpacas! Breakfast cereals, bread, jams, coffee, teas etc are provided . You can also treat yourself from our range of natural lavender products in our on-site shop.

Kitchen includes fridge, microwave, jug, toaster, bench top stove, cutlery and crockery.
