The Old Reading Room West Stafford, Dorset.

The Victorian Reading Room of West Stafford is of historical importance. Used before the war as a Reading Room for the villagers and estate workers, the newspapers were provided, the village shop in the late 1930s, then a workshop and a store room for the church. We have now lovingly restored, decorated and furnished this amazing building into a cosy self catering holiday retreat, "far from the madding crowd" Open plan, comfy double sofabed, wood burner, country walks and fabulous village pub.

The Barn is a converted property located at the head of the stunning Tarrant valley within the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The main living area has dual aspect and bifold doors out onto an enclosed patio, garden and seating area. Two of the bedrooms have internal balconies into the main body of the barn and triple velux roof windows to enjoy the rural views. The chalet has a large decking overlooking the sea, it’s a total escape…..it has 1 King Double bedroom with en-suite, & 1 twin, 2 shower rooms & fully fitted modern kitchen/living area which opens onto the large decking area and panoramic views of the sea… to the left is Lulworth Cove, to the right the Isle of Portland, amazing sunrises and sunsets!

Immaculate newly renovated three-bedroom cottage, (1 super king en suite, 1 king and 1 twin sharing a family bathroom) dating from the 1840s in typical Dorset brick and flint. Nestled at the foot of Hambledon Hill – between Shaftesbury and Blandford – it's only a mile to the excellent village shop and an easy walk over Hambledon hill to The Cricketer's pub for lunch or a pint. Drive to the Jurassic coast (40 mins) to explore Lulworth Cove or visit the gorgeous beach at Studland or Weymouth

In the heart of ancient Dorset woodland, the Cabin enjoys forest views from every room, a log burning stove, al fresco terrace dining, outdoor showering, sauna, hammock and private wildlife garden. 40 minutes away from the World Heritage Jurassic coast, a perfect destination for nature lovers, walkers and cyclists, this countryside hideaway is perfect for those in need of a digital detox. Unfortunately, it isn’t suitable for children under 5 or large/active dogs (see House Rules).

This hut is called Primrose. King size bed with 100% cotton linen, with a choice of pillows. Kitchen with a microwave/grill, small fridge and hob. Underfloor heating. Full size shower and toilet within the hut. Outside shelter for washing dogs/boots and facilities for bike washing on site. Private parking and enclosed garden with out door seating. Welcome pack provided. Famous Jurassic Coast Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, Monkey World and the Tank Museum are close.

Pixon Barn is situated on a working farm on the Jurassic Coastline within an easy driving distance to Weymouth, Lulworth Cove, and Abbotsbury. It is located next to numerous bridlepaths, perfect for avid walkers, cyclists and lovers of the countryside. We welcome any and all well behaved dogs. There are several pubs all within a 5 minutes distance by car, as well as our own farm cafe and shop located on the main road into Weymouth. Best ice-cream around.!
