De omgeving van de woning is zeer geschikt voor mensen die van wandelen houden. Onze hoeve ligt bijvoorbeeld op een etappe van het Pieterpad. Ook per fietst is er voldoende uitdaging, naast veel natuurschoon zijn bijvoorbeeld het centrum van Maastricht en Valkenburg per fiets bereikbaar.

In 2019, we completely renovated a part of our monumental farmhouse into a beautiful farmhouse; Hoeve de Bies. Hoeve de Bies has all the comforts. So you can enjoy a delicious breakfast with various homemade products. Due to its location, Hoeve de Bies is the ideal base for exploring the beautiful surroundings. So you can shop, and experience culture in Valkenburg and Maastricht. In addition, there are beautiful cycling and hiking routes to explore the Heuvelland.

Explore - on foot or by bike - the Geuldal, the hills, the bustling Valkenburg (less than a kilometer away), Maastricht with its brown pubs and unique historic city center or take a day trip to nearby Aachen or Liège. It is a cozy apartment for two people located in Meerssen. The apartment is located in a wooded area where you can enjoy hiking and cycling, there is also a nice and neat outdoor swimming pool just 5 minutes' walk away that can be visited for a fee. It is an 8-minute walk to Meerssen station and 10 minutes to the beautiful city center where there are several restaurants and cafes. Furthermore, Maastricht, Valkenburg and Aachen are easily accessible nearby.
