Apartment holiday rentals in Berkeley

This is a very comfortable place to stay. The linens and toiletries were nice, if not exceptional. I was concerned at first that the bed might be too soft, but I slept like a little lamb. It is within a short walk of the BART and also near Berkeley Bowl, one of the best groceries in the USA. Although we did hear a little noise from a TV in the next apartment, as some reviewers have mentioned, it was turned off at a reasonable time so it did not really bother us. Parking was easy behind the building, and the staircase up was not any big burden.

Airy, light-filled apartment in the heart of Berkeley with easy access to restaurants, campus, public transportation. Full kitchen if you want to cook. Minimal street noise even with open windows. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Patricia’s. The apartment was exactly as pictured: very well-appointed kitchen and bathroom and nicely decorated. The location was very convenient with a grocery store and drug store nearby. It was also nice to have a lot of street parking available. We would recommend!

It was my fourth time staying at the Oak’s Nest, and it was just as excellent as the first. Sarah and Darrell are the best hosts I’ve ever had, and in a place as gorgeous as theirs, it’s hard to resist coming back. Can’t recommend it enough!

Sunny’s place was a clean, light filled studio loft in the sky. The bed was comfy, the bathroom spacious and spotless and French doors leading out to the deck made an already large studio apartment feel even more generous. The location was perfect for exploring north Berkeley. Very easy walking distance to most anything you might want or need. Thank you Sunny for your clear communication and a lovley stay.

Cozy and peaceful stay! The space was clean and quiet, with a lovely book collection. Ben and Liz communicated clearly and were great hosts throughout. Would definitely stay again!

My husband and I have been coming to Berkeley for many years to visit my sister and Benny's apartment is the most comfortable place of them all. The neighborhood is so Berkeley with plenty of bikers, walkers, dogs and kids but not many cars. Very quiet. We cooked dinner most nights and found everything we needed in the well-equipped kitchen. The heating was very efficient and most welcome on chilly mornings. David really enjoyed sitting on the porch in the afternoon sun doing his sudoku puzzles. Benny's will be our first choice when we return to Berkeley in the fall.

The perfect stay in Berkeley - easy to find, great and safe parking spot, spotless apartment, newly furnished with thoughtful details like a few snacks, quiet neighbourhood yet very close to Downtown and UC Berkeley. Also easy to take the over to San Francisco. For runners, great tracks up the hills nearby. This is how an AirBnB should be!

The apartment is very comfortable and cozy, decorated in a thoughtful and interesting manner, and well-maintained and appointed. There was a lovely electric piano and other musical instruments as well. Angela was just amazing. So helpful, and instantaneously responsive to any request - even ones where she already had provided the answer on the website materials and I had forgotten. I could not have been happier.

Very clean, very quiet. Did feel like one was at the edge of a forest. Comfortable. Good wifi.

This place was a great find! I stayed for a week and really felt at home, it’s a beautiful space. Cali and her team were super responsive and helped me check in early when my plans changed unexpectedly. Really nice area and overall a great stay.

This was our 2nd time staying at Lili’s place. She was so kind to let us check in early so my husband could work remotely. The place is conveniently located to shops and restaurants.

The location and space was perfect for our needs! Clean, and larger than we expected from the photos. We especially enjoyed the hot tub/gazebo and the balcony.

This place is cozy and clean. It’s the perfect spot to relax, away from everything but close enough to explore. But the garden!! The garden is the best! From the beehive to the butterflies to the feeling amongst the flowers at the magic hour, it was designed very thoughtfully. Thank you!

Yeshi's home is a museum of colorful artwork from her travels around the world. Wonderful to be lulled to sleep by the ocean waves.

My husband and I stayed for about 10 days. Quiet neighborhood. Rick's place was clean and cozy. When I needed to contact Rick, he was available to answer my questions right away. He was responsive and pleasant. Accessing directly from the parking lot (covered, assined space) to the apartment was very easy and quick. I would stay here again.

I am so grateful for my stay in Dylan And Alex's place! It was clean, safe, quiet, easy to check in, and easy to check out. I was able to walk everywhere - grocery, restaurants, and all types of stores within walking distance. Dylan and Alex are so friendly and proactive to be helpful. Ria was a phenomenal host. In addition to having a comfortable and clean place, she was super attentive. I stayed at her apartment for my wedding weekend and she went out of her way to add a few details to make our weekend extra special

I loved Albina's place. It was so perfect for what we were looking for. It was cute, easy to find, easy parking and just so lovely. The highlight was the view. The bedroom window looked out to the city and the ocean. We never even turned the TV on since the view from the bed was just spectacular. We literally just watched the ocean and boats going by as the sunset before our eyes. The moon then came out and we went to bed just staring out at the sky. I hope to be able to stay here again. It was such a magical retreat.

Shea’s place was beautiful and spacious for our family of 5. Check in was easy and Shea was very responsive to all my questions about the home and neighborhood. We took full advantage of the backyard with hot tub and ping pong when we needed a break from sightseeing. There was a fair amount of noise from neighbors and the street in the front of the house. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved everything about Eurydice's space. So elegant in its simplicity, and clearly prioritizing coziness and livability. She's thought of so many touches that made it all the more welcoming: extra throws and blankets, a fan and heater in the closet in case you need a temperature adjustment, a night light in the bathroom, super comfy seating and bed. All this set in a gorgeous garden that's very convenient to public transportation and very walkable to boot. On top of all that, Eurydice was a great host: very responsive, warm, and welcoming, even though I never ran into her while we were there. This place really felt like home away from home, and the most difficult part was getting myself to leave! :)

This was a gem of an airbnb! The space is beautifully put together, very clean and comfortable - I almost didn't want to leave it! The location can't be beat - just steps away from Castro and a short walk over to Dolores Park/mission. Cory was extremely pleasant to communicate with, super helpful and eager to be a resource, and very proactive in addressing a next door neighbor's construction mess. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to any future guests!
