Holiday rentals with a patio in Berkhamsted

Just a short walk from two very connected underground stations, the apartment was easy to find and, as the photos show, wonderfully and tastefully decorated. Two things I often find that let places down are the shower and the bed - Chris’ apartment had both a fantastic shower and a super comfortable bed. We also managed to take some great photos on the home too. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a stylish stay within close proximity to the main attractions London has to offer.

We had a great stay in the studio (wife and 2 year old) while visiting friends in Chorleywood. It's a beautiful location with a park right outside the fence gate and the town gardening plots right out back. The studio was very clean, well equipped, and private. We very much enjoyed our stay, and we'll try to book again next time we visit.

Lovely studio walking distance to river, coffee shops, local supermarkets. Lovely green to sit and have a drink. Station within 5 minutes walk to London or Windsor (which is 5 minutes on train) easier than parking. 15 minutes to Heathrow. Immaculate and clean

Staying at Richard’s home was a delight! The neighborhood was quiet and cute with a Sainbury’s Local just a 3 minute walk away. It was easy to catch the bus (2 minutes away) and a 20 minute walk to the tube. Richard was specific in his directions for getting in and out of the flat and his home is so beautiful and clean. I felt right at home. This is the perfect place for anyone who is comfortable riding public transit or has a car. Richard could not have been more accommodating or kind. I would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful flat - clean, comfortable, and with everything we needed. Easy access to central London, whilst being peaceful and enjoying pleasant outdoor space and off-road parking. The lovely shady patio was a real bonus in the hot weather.

John’s place was the perfect place to stay on our first stop during our honeymoon! John gave us some wonderful food recommendations as well as places to see in the area. The space is clean and has everything you would need, they’ve done a great job making use of a small space. If we are back in the area again, we will absolutely be looking to stay here!

What a lovely air BNB! This is the best and cleanest place we have stayed in London. Chloe was so responsive and provided very clear/straightforward instructions, the place and whole process was very well organized. We felt very safe in the area and apartment, it was all walkable too which we loved. The apartment was decorated well and had everything we needed for our stay. We often come to London and always rush to get home as we don't enjoy the places we stay in, but this was a completely different experience - we actually felt rested and recharged and even went for brunch at browns which was under 10 mins walk from the apartment. We will certainly be staying again in the future!

It was amazing really good recommend staying! A beautiful place with everything we could need, from fresh linens and towels to a little desk for work as needed to dishes cookware and even some oils and spices. the bed was so comfortable! and big. Daniel welcomed us with chocolates (and special ones for Easter!) as well as a nice bottle of wine. He was super responsive when we had questions throught the booking and staying process. Daniel proactively offered us a discount because there was construction that prevented us from using the terrace---- so thoughtful of him to do and since we were out all day the construction didn't bother us at all. the neighborhood is amazing. so easy to get to multiple tube lines, restaurants, shopping, groceries etc. highly higly recommend!

From start to finish, this beautiful property exceeded every expectation. Phoebe was incredibly responsive, helpful and went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. The space was immaculate, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully stocked with everything a guest could need - from quality linens and toiletries to a well-equipped modern kitchen. The location was ideal - peaceful yet convenient to local attractions. Every detail showed a commitment to comfort and hospitality. It truly felt like a home away from home, but with the service and polish of a five-star hotel in the most stunning location and surroundings. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for something a cut above the usual. We would absolutely return without any hesitation. Beautiful place to stay , very peaceful lots to do if you want to fill your day or just peaceful if you want to sit back and relax from everyday life . Melissa is a very friendly host the extra’s like treats for your dog and lovely home made chocolate brownies absolutely wonderful as well as everyday essentials like milk , bottled water , bathroom essentials like shampoo all included . This being why Melissa is a super host . This was a fantastic find and a great place to stay . Thank you .

We were really glad to find a place like this for our stay. Great location, very close to the Airport. Marlon was friendly and made sure the house was clean and tidy for our arrival.

This home is absolutely gorgeous, and it was such a treat to stay here during our trip to London. My family enjoyed the neighborhood setting, which made for a quieter area to retreat to after days filled with sightseeing. It was easy to get to and from anywhere we wanted to go using the tube, and it was especially convenient for watching tennis at the Queen’s Club. I would highly recommend!

It’s hard to know where to start singing the praises of Leticia’s Daffodil Cottage. We are on to our next location, and we all miss this gorgeous, ancient cottage and its *magnificent* gardens. The cottage was comfy and well-appointed inside, with plenty of room for our family group of 7. We were all so sad to leave! The children (ages 7, 2 and 12 months) spent a lot of time exploring the gardens, and my son and I added 45+ new species to our Seek app. So much time, effort and pride have obviously been poured into this paradise, inside and out. My friends back in the States were blown away by the pictures I posted and shared. We loved going into nearby Wendover to purchase food and eat at Shoulder of Mutton. And don’t miss Rumsey’s Chocolaterie. Sumptuous desserts, and affogato was divine. We also spent a lot of time piled onto the big bed in the downstairs bedroom, especially during the rain. So many wonderful family memories were made. A big thank you to Leticia and her team.

St Albans always has such a lot to do and a fabulous community. Leos place is right in the heart of the City centre and everything is walkable, yet on a quiet back street. No problem dropping off our bags, despite the residents only parking permits. No problem finding a parking space for 10 minutes, even half an hour. We avoided the close by multi storey expensive car parking and opted to use my Just Park app, that I have used all over the UK. Booked great parking on Latimer street, approx 9 minutes walk from Spencer street, for £17 , and left the car for the whole weekend. Leos place is modern and a little quirky, surprisingly for an older property. Great fun place to hang out with good sized bedrooms and comfy beds. St Albans has loads of great pubs, and we were visiting my daughter for fathers day and enjoyed the annual folk festival. The cathedral and the Park are all within 5-10 minutes walk and the shops , bars etc 2-3 minutes walk!

This is a fab place to stay. Hosts Andrew and Emily were fab from the start with excellent communication, providing local information and assistance and great instructions too. The property is fabulous inside and very well maintained. Cannot fault it in any way. The beds were super comfortable too!! Lovely array of essentials were there for us on arrival which was a touch of class. The property is a 5 minute walk to the lovely centre of Marlow that has lots to offer. We sampled a few restaurants and they were all excellent. We had a fab stay and the hosts were amazing. Thank you so much for having us. Highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely and private home in Chorleywood. The location was ideal – peaceful yet close to London, making it easy for day trips into the city. The house had plenty of space for our 18-month-old daughter and our two friends’ children to move around comfortably, which was a real bonus for us. Shops were conveniently close by, and the driveway easily accommodated both of our cars. All in all, a great experience and we would happily return. Highly recommended for families or small groups looking for a quiet base with good access to London.

What a fabulous apartment. Unfortunately we only stayed one night but will definitely return for a longer stay. We’ve been to Marlow several times and this was a perfect base for walking into Marlow to its great eateries and shops. Great communication from Max and Carrie-Anne. Would definitely recommend.

David’s place was amazing. It had every comfort you could want. David was incredibly helpful and responsive at every stage. The information he provided was extremely detailed. We thoroughly enjoyed and stay and would love to return again soon.

Sharon’s place is adorable - a lovely English flat, outside of the hustle and bustle of London, in a residential neighborhood. My favorite part of her place is her back yard - it’s like a slice of garden heaven in the middle of town. A pond, beautiful flowers; it was lovely just sitting out in her yard taking in the sun (when it wasn’t raining ;)). Entertained daily by magpies and foxes. This flat is just for one person as there is only a twin bed, but her flat is roomy and the kitchen can’t be beat! Sharon was a great communicator and checked in to make sure I was doing okay and was always responsive if I needed anything. Great place to unwind after being on the road. Thank you, Sharon!

We had a beautiful stay and really enjoyed! The house was well-equipped with everything we needed. Appreciated some extra touches as well. Viktor was very helpful and kind.

Husband, toddler and I had a very comfortable stay with Susan. Susan’s home was beautiful, couches were comfy, bathroom and kitchen spotless. Susan’s place is walkable (even with toddler on scooter!). My tip for future guests would be to ask Susan which direction to head in for the town centre, if going on foot as there is a cut through / short cut which Susan pointed out at the beginning of our stay. stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Ros’s place, it is so peaceful and beautiful with lots of space in the apartment. Ros was really friendly and helpful, with great recommendations of things to do around the area. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay Ros :)

Alisa was absolutely wonderful host, and their home was lovely! We were even greeted by their two dogs and had the curry girls eggs and they were fresh and tasty! 😋 We had everything we needed to feel at home during our stay (the cake and ice cream were amazing!) Slept beautifully and cannot recommend this place enough. Will be back if we are in the area again :)

This is my 3rd time to stay at Alexandra home , every are awesome !
